Time to re-watch because Sang Yan remains my favourite ML in cdrama world

This was so engaging! I loved the FML. She was perfect. Not once did I feel frustrated or irritated by her actions. The ML was also very interesting with his manipulative tactics. The romance and all the other sub plots were well done. The acting wasn't very convincing in the first few episodes but it definitely got better and the pretty faces of the leads made up for it. Overall this is my favorite Zhou Yiran drama and Bao Sheng An did fine for a rookie actress.

Binge watched the whole thing and didn't get bored at all. The only slightly cringey moments were in the first few episodes ( owing to her first love). I love modern cdramas with little conflict and this one was perfect. No cartoonish villains and the slow burn was worth it. I started it for Mai Mai but I have come to like Song Wei Long as well. Will definitely be checking out his other dramas

This drama is not for people who love angst but I'm a fluff lover who only watches Asian dramas for escapism and this drama exactly served that. I stick to cdramas for the same reason LOL. Thank you Jisoo for choosing this drama.

Okay, I watched it solely for Jisoo and I like the male actors too but the main thing that made me stay was the plot! I love when the male lead yearns for the FML and there are no boring subplots. This was the ultimate female gaze show for me. The chemistry was amazing and the comedy was well done. Lowkey obsessed with the last few episodes. Jisoo please stick to rom coms for a while.
