Oh boy, here we go...well clearly an unpopular opinion, but I don't love this drama. :/

It was so thrilling and suspenseful at first and then all of a sudden it just felt like a romantic melodrama. It was honestly so thrilling to watch till episode 5 and even after that till episode 9 it was mostly good but then it started going downhill from that point onwards.

So yeah the reason why I don't love this drama is cause of the story. It started out well and then was getting progressively ridiculous and cheesy...and gosh there was just way too much going on. Too many coincidences and overly dramatic. And lol don't get me started on the last episode...gosh why did they have to add in that overly used trope?! It was too cliched and frankly painful to watch.

Buuuut I must say I really liked the cast in this drama. Every single actor was pretty good, especially Lee Joon Gi.❤
In fact, the best thing about this drama was LJG. Like holy cow can we talk about how brilliant his acting was?...honestly, despite all the problems I had with the story, the reason why I was able to watch it till the very end and actually even enjoy it somewhat overall was cause of his outstanding performance.❤❤ Moon Chae Won too was pretty good though at times her acting wasn't very convincing. However, the chemistry between her character and LJG's character was so good!♡
And I love love love the ending theme!!♡♡

I don't regret watching this cause I got to see an awesome performance by LJG but this drama is certainly overrated imo..

This is my first time writing a review so excuse me if I sound awkward!

Okay so I think people have mixed opinions about this drama. Personally I kinda like this drama. I agree the story is kinda weak and there's little plot development but I liked how the drama felt kinda realistic. I saw some of the comments saying that only the 1st few episodes were good and afterwards it started getting all draggy and boring. I do agree that the first 6 episodes were really good and afterwards the story was kind of dragging, but I didn't find it boring. The comedy kept the drama lively and interesting. If there wasn't any comedy and this drama took a serious approach, definitely the drama should have a strong plot or at least the number of episodes should be reduced.

STORY : 6/10

~The negative side of this drama is mainly cause of the story. From episode 1 to 6 and again 18 to 20 only there was some sort of development in the plot. In between the only development was Yoo Hye Jung and Hong Ji Hong's romance.
Also the 1st and 2nd years residents and Dr Kang Kyung Joon seemed less serious at times and being a doctor, that's not very professional. I found the other doctors good though!
~However the positive side was this drama made me feel relaxed. This is my 1st medical drama but I'm sure most medical dramas are probably tense and depressing. This drama takes a more cheery approach.
Also I liked the characters of YHJ, HJH andJYD.
I like the fact that YHJ is a strong willed woman. All her past negative events made her stronger and independent. It's nice to see the main female lead being strong minded like her in this drama. Also I like the fact that she's willing to take responsibility for her mistakes without blaming anyone else...kinda makes it impossible to hate her.
I like HJH's character a lot too cause he's a nice guy who supports the woman he loves. Most K-dramas they portray the main male lead as arrogant and the second male lead as a nice guy. And always the girl ends up falling for the arrogant guy. Here for me both guys are nice and kind so it was kind of different from the usual style. And I really liked that!
For me there was chemistry between the two leads and I didn't find the initial teacher-student relationship weird. Anyway there wasn't really a relationship while she was in school. Sure both did like each other from before, but the real relationship started when they meet again later.
Also I saw that some people had commented that there wasn't any chemistry between YHJ and JYD (second male lead) , but why should there be chemistry in the 1st place? It's just a one-sided love. She sees him as a colleague/friend and she never encouraged him. Only thing was there should have been more interactions between the two of them cause since he liked her, he should have put more of an effort to try win her over.

ACTING/CAST : 8.5/10

~I have seen PSH only in You're Beautiful before and I wasn't impressed with her acting there, so I wasn't expecting much when I 1st started watching this drama. However I was pleasantly surprised to see her acting her. She played the role of YHJ well in my opinion.
I liked mainly PSH and KRW and the bad guys but the other actors played their roles well too.

MUSIC : 8.5/10

I liked all the songs and the instrumentals. I liked No Way by Park Yong-in & Kwon Soon-il and Sunflower by Younha the most from the OST's.

REWATCH VALUE : 5/10

I would just give a 5 cause although I liked the drama, the story was weak so..

OVERALL : 7/10

I liked the drama and it's ending but cause the plot was kinda weak I'd give only a 7.

Overall I liked this drama but if you're looking for complicated love triangles and an arrogant first lead, this drama is not for you. This is more of a playfully realistic and simple medical drama without unnecessary love triangles and characters.

The acting is great but that's the only thing I like in this movie.
In my opinion, a story like this is very unrealistic. Also the moral of this story is to show that the outer appearance of a person doesn't matter...it's what's inside that does. But I don't see that message being delivered properly either. They don't really show what the two leads actually liked in each other. All they seem to talk about and bond over is furniture. We don't get to see their proper personalities.
And anyway how can she deal with him looking old enough to be her grandfather or young enough to be her son?? O.o Creepy.
Also if the whole point of the movie is that the outer appearance doesn't matter, why are there intimate scenes only when Woo Jin is a good looking man? So yeah I don't get the point of this film.
Plus, it's just too weird for me. Woo Jon's appearance changes every time he goes to sleep...there's no limit to the gender, race or age. I just can't imagine anybody being able to marry someone like that. Being a friend is different. Can anyone marry someone like that and deal with all the gossip and the inevitable stress?? It's too unhealthy and creepy.

I felt the same way after reading the book "Everyday" by David Levithan (I didn't watch the movie). That book too has something similar to this movie and I didn't like it much either cause it was too strange. :/

1 point for the good acting.
Another point for the good directing.
And .5 for the music.

This drama is a story about an eccentric man who lives by himself and doesn't interact with people well. But as the drama goes on, you can see how he gradually communicates with people and learns to enjoy others' company.
When I read the summary, I didn't think that the drama would be this interesting or fun to watch. It was highly entertaining, light and funny (not over-the -top comedy) and it wasn't boring at all.
Abe Hiroshi did an excellent job in portraying Kuwano-san. He was able to get the perfect slouching posture and the awkward facial expressions without overdoing it.
Although Kuwano-san tends to hurt people's feelings without realising, it's not possible to actually hate him cause he has a soft side. And you can see how his character gradually develops when he interacts with people (and Ken-chan) more. I especially like the scenes where Kuwano interacts with Ken-chan...it's just too cute to watch. ^-^

I also like Natsukawa Yui's acting a lot as well. The chemistry between her character (Hayasaka-san) and Kuwano-san was brilliant. ?

I would definitely want to re-watch this drama again someday! :)

Damn that jump scare at the start of the movie scared me...I actually shrieked.!! xD

The movie plot had sort of a horror movie feeling and so did the 1st half of the movie, but there onwards it took a different turn. I didn't expect to actually like the movie when I started watching it...I'm so glad that I decided to check this movie. :) Lots of plot twists, although you can probably come up with many theories and guess how the story is gonna go. Still it was very interesting and thrilling to watch. And as far as I noticed, there were no plot holes. ?

Also the acting was brilliant...especially that of Kang Ha Neul! His role wasn't an easy one but he did an outstanding job!

Deserves a 10/10. The reason why I gave the re-watch value 3/10 is because the story is kind of tragic so I don't think I can re-watch it again..

Haha I actually liked this. :D It actually exceeded my expectations.

There were a few moments that were slightly cringey but the over-the-top comedy somehow covered it up.
Kento Nakajima's acting (lol he and the Claude guy were so funny) was better than that of the female lead, although she did better than I expected. :)

I wish there was more chemistry between leads but still it was satisfying and they looked cute together. :)

I s re-watched this movue for the 5th time and I still absolutely love it! ? *-* I loved the friendship and the romance was so cute and innocent. ?
Normally I don't like it when the female lead is too naive and gullible but Sawako was just too adorable and such a nice person that I didn't mind it at all. :) Kazehaya is very loveable as well. Although he's good looking, he doesn't really care about his popularity and reputation and is genuinely nice and friendly. ? ^-^ Miura Haruma played that role perfectly..^-^ and his smile!! *-* I'll definitely re-watch this movie again and again just to see his smile lol ??

I sort of like this drama to some extent but I'm not totally satisfied.

Things I like about the drama:
- no fairy tale ending, thank gosh!
- everyone's acting (regardless of how I felt about certain characters)..especially that of Kasumi Arimura's.♡
- has a good theme
- realistic story

Well if I move on to what I don't like about this drama, the number one thing would be everything about Kiyotaka and Han-chan..gosh they're the worst!
The screenwriter tried to make us see Kiyotaka as a good genuine character, but for me he was the worst. He was selfish and I didn't see him genuinely liking either Toko or Han-chan. >.< I hated him even more when he found out what happened to Toko and still didn't go to talk to her about it. And I hated Han-chan for convincing him that it was better for him not to talk to Toko. She was such a terrible "friend".

Selfish people like that exist so that's unfortunately realistic and anyway that's not exactly what I hated. What I didn't like was the fact that we were supposed to see Kiyotaka and Han-chan as decent people as well with the theme of the drama applying to their characters as well. Just nope!

I think I would have actually liked the drama better if Toko had been the only main character. I liked how straightforward she was and how she stuck to the decisions she made and somehow got the courage to move on and live despite all the troubles she faced. I can't say the same for the other two.

Music: I didn't pay much attention so I barely noticed any music. I think there wasn't much music actually..

Re-watch: Yeah I won't be watching this again. It was just good enough for a one time watch.

This lakorn could have ended in like 5 eps max if everyone had tried to actually talk to one another without jumping to conclusions lol xD

Most of the characters are honestly slappable...yeah that includes you, you adorable baby-faced Sathit. I think the most likeable character was Suki. Well there were other decent characters like Dao and Jate but tbh I kinda skimmed through their scenes cause I wanted to finish the lakorn faster lol. I did like Jee as well but gosh woman is it so hard to communicate properly..T-T

And honestly I don't think lakorns are my thing..there's something kinda cringey in their acting at times, especially when it comes to action scenes. But I might try watching a few more in the future before I actually make up my mind about them.

The best thing about the lakorn is the onscreen chemistry between the two leads. ♡♡ oh and Sathit smiling in the later part of the last episode. So adorable *-* lol
I didn't mind the music by itself but it was so repetitive in this lakorn and too loud and in-your-face.

If anyone wants to watch a lakorn with really good chemistry, I'd recommend this, as long as you're able to tolerate seeing irritating characters and misunderstandings till the very end...not forgetting the repetitive theme of lack of communication.

You can definitely tell that this is a shoujo manga adaptation...a cheesy, silly story with a lot of cliched plot lines thrown in here and there throughout the drama lol.

That being said, I still enjoyed watching the drama overall. Usually this kind of story is not really what I would go for but it was cute and made me giggle like a silly girl..:P And I think I've just developed a crush on Sato Takeru..o.o..♡♡

I think I was able to enjoy the drama more cause I watched it with low expectations. When I initially heard if this drama, I thought it was going to have a more serious story. So if I watched this expecting a more sensible story, I would have been disappointed.
But still, if the story had been less cheesy and cliched, I would have given a higher rating.

I like the cast and Sato Takeru played his tsundere character really well.

And omg I love the OST...❤

Man what a mess lol. Romance, comedy, crime thriller (not forgetting the slapstick comedy) altogether was just an odd combination of genres. I could not get used to the atmosphere changing abruptly. At one moment it felt like a rom-com and the abruptly the mood shifts and gets all creepy when the kidnapper guy appears and then again abruptly shifts to slapstick comedy when it comes to any scene with the thug guys...like jeez stick to some genres that actually go together!

And honestly too many episodes! Most episodes had a whole lot of nothing going on and they just kept dragging the story showing a lot of unnecessary scenes with the thug guys..and most of those comedic scenes weren't even funny tbh.

I only liked the romance and the OST. The romantic storyline itself was a mess and honestly quite unrealistic lol but the 2 leads had good chemistry and they looked cute together. I think that's the only reason why I watched this drama till the very end and why I'm atleast giving it a 3/10 instead of 1/10. And Park Hyung Shik looks cute lol..
But it's definitely an overrated drama imo..

Haha this movie was unexpectedly very good!:D The first bit was a little dull but once the two leads met, it gets really interesting. Gosh, the chemistry between Tao and Shotaro is just brilliant!^-^

However, don't expect there to be any romance...there's only friendship..and comedy..:P (spoiler mentioned in the comments) Man, the two leads screaming at each other had me cracking up...especially their bickering when they were flying..xD
SPOILER!!! << And it was hilarious how she just flat out rejected him..xD it was unexpected but I liked that romance wasn't added to the story. It was refreshing to see only friendship for a change. :) >>

For a shoujo manga, this movie wasn't cheesy and it was enjoyable to watch. :) Also the music was spot on! It just adds to the excitement and comedy.

STORY:
Love the story and the way the movie was directed!
The only thing that bothered me was that they didn't explain exactly why the culprit targeted those particular people, who ended up becoming his victims. That's why I gave this a 9.5 instead of 10.
Other than that, everything else was perfect. The movie had my attention the whole time!
There were several plot twists in the movie, most of them being unpredictable I guess. But if you've watched a lot of crime/mystery movies, you might be able to predict some. ;)

CAST/ACTING:
Brilliant! The whole cast did an excellent job...especially Fujiwara Tatsuya! He played his role brilliantly. ♡♡

MUSIC:
I didn't pay extra attention to the music but I noticed that it kept the atmosphere of the movie very suspenseful and messed up. So I think it suited the movie very well.

REWATCH VALUE:
It's definitely interesting enough to rewatch, although the excitement might be somewhat less since we already know what to expect.

This drama is absolutely hilarious and if I had to rate it based on the comedy alone, it would be a 10/10. xD
But taking the plot into consideration as well, I'm gonna give this drama an 8/10.

The male lead is supposed to be bisexual but for me, his attraction towards men doesn't seem that genuine. Haruta and Maki looked cute together but they would have looked better if the relationship didn't look too platonic. I felt like Maki was putting more of an effort while Haruta looked like he was just forcing himself. That mostly disappointed me..

Also, the last episode was a bit too ridiculous. xD Haruta is clearly a foolish guy who can't say "no" to anyone...but did he have to really go that far? *facepalm* But still it didn't stop me from laughing at the ridiculousness so I'm not that bummed.

Haruta's exaggerated facial expressions and over-the-top reactions made the drama so much fun to watch. :D And I really like Maki...he was just so adorable!! *-* ♡♡

**Edit: I was wondering why the plot is so silly (in an amusing way) and only then I noticed that all the trending tropes and cliches that are usually seen in shojo mangas have been added to this drama...that's what makes the story seem ridiculous and hilarious at the same time. xD
