Title Love Alert
The last two episodes were very powerful for me.

I felt a strong identification with the main character, and the actor is doing an excellent job.

In the final episode that aired this week, Toh reached rock bottom, and I found myself telling him to wake up, to stop, that he had already fallen low enough. That he deserves more than this and should move on.

And yet, it is impossible not to truly understand him.

This happens to so many people, probably more than we think. Most people are pathetic and can reach such a level of willingness for humiliation just to be in a relationship with the person they believe they need to be with.

You also cannot say that there is nothing good in Jimmy. There is no doubt that he has good qualities as well. At times he is quite sweet, and there are certain sides of him that are very attractive.

But there is no doubt that his abuse erases everything else and does not justify staying in a relationship with him.

Still, for someone as young and naive as Toh, this is very understandable, especially when he is so sensitive and gentle.

Episodes 7 and 8 were somewhat disappointing for me, mainly because of Typhoon. I felt the character was overly exaggerated, and this was the point where he should have felt more comfortable, loosened up, and behaved more naturally. For example, when he was drunk, which was probably the only moment he felt human. There was no sense of even minimal development into a person within a relationship, which was discouraging. It is a shame, because I enjoyed the series up to episode 6.

It’s a shame they dragged the plot into a place that feels a bit dark. I don’t think I would be able to trust or love someone like that; it would create a constant sense of insecurity.
Still, there are many films like this, and it’s a familiar trope: someone does something unethical and the other character eventually forgives them after great effort.

BUT In this case, there’s only one episode left, and it’s unclear to me why the high school boy was made to seek attention and approval from someone who conducted research on him without consent, when the one who should have apologized and pursued reconciliation is the person who carried out the unethical research.

The two actors perform very well
Even though one of them looks about 30, which does not make sense at all, I overlooked it.
It cannot be said that there is a plot here, yet it also cannot be said that there is no story of any kind. Still, the story is very weak. It does not hold water and is not convincing.

The fragmented back and forth between past and present does not work well and fails to carry enough meaning at the right moments. In other words, they waited until the end to explain something trivial that has no real psychological weight.
Just as there is no communication between the two characters, there is also no ability on the part of the producers or the screenwriter to communicate intelligently with the audience watching the work. That is, the creator does not mediate the work in a way that allows identification at any point in the series, not at the beginning, the middle, or the end.

It may be that the kiss between them toward the end was the only good thing in the series, but even so, watching it disappointed me and made me feel that I wasted two hours of my life for nothing.

Since I apparently watched it, that means the series did not leave a significant impression on me, to the point that I no longer remember what happened there, but I will try to watch it again.

for me, i agree with jira. as an artist myself, nothing can recreate the raw emotion in a piece of art. especially…
I am also an artist, but I think you are describing something complex in an overly simplistic way that does not do justice to the truth. Most of what you said is incorrect. What do you mean by “nothing can recreate emotion”? Of course it can. There are many museums with artists who have been working with AI for years and producing extraordinary works.

AI is intelligence. At present it is ostensibly a form of technology, but over time it will also develop self-awareness. We are already one step away from the complete inability to live without artificial intelligence. The dependency has already been created, and soon it will also become part of us.

It is true that there are currently people who misuse it, as we saw with Ko, and that was theft and a blatant violation of rights, because consent for the preliminary interview was not given, not because the AI took the artwork itself. It also replicated rather than created something new. Had it created something new inspired by him, it would have been considered a new work.Of course there are unclear boundaries here that need to be examined, and it is still being addressed in the courts; it will be a very long process.

This stage is extremely frustrating at present. That is because the current phase of integration between us and artificial intelligence is a very painful process, involving significant sacrifice and not a small degree of cruelty. In some respects, it can be compared to the French Revolution, a process that unfolded over many years with many victims, but ultimately led to the Western democracy as we know it today.

Ko started showing humanity, compassion, and even a kind of devotion toward Jira, and then suddenly flipped in a second and returned to his abusive behavior.

I do not think the problem was the AI. The problem was that he did it without Jira’s consent, and even after Jira asked him to stop, he still did not listen. Therefore, his abuse is not something I see as redeemable. Even if they end up pairing them together, it would be more of a sad ending than a happy one.

It is also possible they are heading in an unexpected direction and will pair him with Pheem after all. He was a less attractive choice economically and in terms of attraction, but he was still the first one he met and supported him in some way along the journey. As often happens in these kinds of series, the one who appears first often ends up being the chosen partner.

He is one of the best Thai actors I have seen, speaking strictly within the BL genre. I have not seen anyone at his level.

Ep 5 was the best so far

This is not a masterpiece, and it is not something I would watch again. At the same time, there is something different about this series compared to standard shows in the genre. There is a truly tragic character with Kafkaesque traits, a character who keeps humiliating himself constantly. He is always in some kind of dream and then wakes up moments later, feeling guilty for the injustice he inflicts on himself.

In my view, contrary to many viewers (bad people, in my opinion), this is a very human character—so human that he manages to irritate many viewers. This is not the first time I have noticed this lack of compassion toward such a weak character, and I also see it as something that says a great deal about the commenters. A viewer who cannot understand such a character cannot understand what love is, in my view, and perhaps is a person (like many people today) who is unable to accept someone who is different, or who behaves differently, or who thinks differently.

It is as if the character does not follow the rulebook and completely deviates from the normative path of romantic series. I do not remember seeing many characters, especially main characters rather than supporting ones, who humiliate themselves to such an extent.

In addition, this actor, who once did not appeal to me, has become someone I genuinely like, because he does an excellent job—one could say better than most Thai actors. In short, he is a truly excellent actor.
