It was actually good until the latest ep got me a little bit confused of all the random moments lmao. The making out to make a statement was a choice I guess.. Zhan Xu and Lin Xia did not really have a moment where they at least talk things out with each other and now they are sitting at the same table side by side? When Zhan Wang got injured and led to the bed scene was kind of forced because isn't Xu Yuan's mum still in the hospital? Also using the gangsters as the villain is kind of tired ngl

The undoing of the wish is a little abrupt for me, it is as if the wish makers just want to create drama for themselves to watch lmao. Xixi being absent in the last ep does not sit right with me even though I know a lot of people may think that her contribution to the drama has ended. After Xiaoyou turned back into Xiangyou I was hoping for a grand reunion with his dad and potentially a much touching scene to top it off. Idk guys I think the meal on top of the balcony should include everyone like Angela, Xixi, and the second couple to close things off IDKIDKIDKIDKIDK
Japan BLs tend to have a rather slow and toned down story and that may not be everybody's cup of tea but it works for me. It is more of a feel good type of show that is beautifully shot. But I do agree that the show can do with 8 eps and it will make it stronger.
