Well, the resort trip was only 3 days, and she was only live streaming for a few days and the only reason she got the investment that early was bc of Jiang Liang's help. But you're right, it's still not enough time for it all if it were real life. That's why I've learnt to think of time as just a concept in dramas, it's a lot better than trying to keep up with the logic of it all and ruins the fun of watching when using so much brainpower trying to figure things out.

When I first heard that Lusi's drama was finally being released, I was happy. And when I found out it was 32 episodes, I was thrilled. And the drama is great, but with the amount of filler they currently have, I'm losing interest a bit. As of now, I've temporarily stopped watching so I can stack the episodes and binge them on Friday because the one ep a day this is not gonna cut it for me, but I have my fingers crossed that we can move on from the comedy and business parts of the show and get to the romance because they are wasting so much chemistry right now!!

I really hope so! I loved Chu Ran in Fireworks of my Heart, but I'm not too interested in the plots of any of her other projects other than this one. I'd be extremely happy to see her back on my screen one day.

Yeah, those two will be very similar, just Yummy x3 isn't a palace based drama so there won't be any annoying and complicated palace politics and the FL migrates with her family too, so it's gonna be full romance and comedy and fluff.

I'm like 90% sure she has some sort of mental illness. I think that when she was young, she just had some sort of childhood crush on him, as he was an older guy who treated her well. Just that typical right of passage for girls, but it may have become more of an obsession when her sister died and she needed that comfort or something. I'm not excusing her behaviour or saying I like her in the least, but I definitely don't think she's in her right mind, especially considering that her sister and him even had a kid together, and if she didn't die, then they would've eventually told Hao Chen that he was their kid and raised him once they were more responsible and stable.

Agreed. I'm pretty used to it by now, so I usually have a drama to watch on the side or I watch those vertical dramas, but it'll always be funny to me how people don't see this coming when it's typical airing behaviour when it comes to cdramas to have only one episode a day in the last week before an express drop to help build suspense and get more views.

If you're into comedy and historical, Yummy Yummy Yummy is releasing on Thursday. I plan on watching that cause it seems light and fluffy, so it's perfect for de-stressing daily after school. There's also Fated Hearts, which is ongoing, it's a historical enemies-to-lovers where both leads are fighters and very violent. And if you're into K-dramas, Would You Marry Me? is also releasing on Friday, and it's a typical contract marriage to lovers drama with a rich ML and a hardworking, tough girl boss type of FL. But these are just some of the currently airing ones I am planning to watch. Hope it helps!

At the beginning of the show, no. And neither does the audience. It only gets revealed more than halfway through the show, as it's the tipping point in their relationship and causes the divorce arc.

It's actually ironic to see the change in the broadcasting company's behaviour. From dropping it randomly with no promo and no announcements at all, and trying to get it over with, to it being really popular and Lusi's fans showing up, and it breaking records, all the way to now, where they're even trying to milk its popularity for views. I just hope that from now on, they can stop having so many biases and that actors can get the recognition and support they pay for and deserve from all the companies in the industry.

I agree, apart from comedy, I don't really see the appeal anymore. At this point, if he doesn't straighten up his act in the next 2 episodes, I'm gonna root for a clean-cut divorce, but we all know that's impossible in cdrama land.

From now on, it's only going to be 1 ep a day. I'm assuming that we'll get express on the 11th since that will be 5 eps, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

I'm currently halfway through ep 23, and I need Hao Ming to LOCK IN with his attempts at reconciliation. He needs to actually apologize to Xu Yan and talk it through with her instead of whatever manipulative playing the victim shit he's pulling rn. I want to actually see that he's in love and not just that he's used to her being around. I can feel it a little, but I need more to actually support them being together. Him getting his frontal lobe back and grovelling a little might help that a bit. Also, the evil corporate villain plot was SO unnecessary in this show since we already have so much going on, but I hope that gets wrapped up soon, cause I need at LEAST one episode dedicated fully to their happy ending. But by the amount of filler they're putting into the last few episodes, I have a bad feeling that the ending is going to be rushed. I just hope we get express this weekend so I can get off this emotional rollercoaster and be happy that Lusi finally aired a drama after so long and patiently wait for the next one.

I'm only on episode 12 right now because I fell behind on watching, but I keep getting the ick from Hao Ming! First, he stops her when she wants to come clean, and I know he uses that against her in later episodes, so it makes me so angry. Next is how he keeps turning their relationship more and more transactional when it's clear that Xu Yan wants them to remain a normal, loving couple like how they were in the beginning. It's also hurting Xu Yan because at first she was helping his business out of love and because she wanted to, but now it's more Hao Ming telling her what to do, and she figures out how to do it, and he gives her an expensive gift. I get that now that he knows she lied, he thinks they should just take things from each other with no emotions involved, but his pretending that there are emotions involved is just cruel. And lastly, I need to know the deal with Fang Lei and her dead sister and their connection to SHM. As of now, he seems like he still has feelings for her sister, even if it's just a little, and it's driving me insane because I hate when the ML has a dead white moonlight he can't forget and then the sister somehow thinks its okay to go after her dead sisters ex who's married now and just wants to be a mistress. Please tell me it gets better because at this point, I'm watching it on 1.5x speed, and it almost feels like a chore now.

Thank you! I'm really disappointed they didn't just release it on Netflix with proper subtitles. I feel like it would get a lot more views that way. I was hoping the extra episode would be like a proper episode, but I guess bts and deleted scenes are better than nothing...

Love the theory, but unfortunately, K-drama writers follow a copy-and-paste routine for every trope. It would be interesting to have a different drama with that plot, though.

Does anyone know where the special episode was released? An article on MDL said it would be on the official YouTube channel, but I checked both the Netflix and tvN accounts, and nothing!
