you know to some complexity is something to run away from in entertainment, and i like light stuff too like the next girl, but when it's worth it i also like a challenge, especially such a beautiful one. thank you again for sharing your analisys and i look forward to more of them if you wish

thank you for this insight, i love when a work of art is built like a tapestry (i simply love your kesi reference, so on point), when every detail hides a deeper meaning for us to find. thank you also and especially for your linguistic analysis

Its fascinating how this series criticizes fans who make the life of others miserable for their own feelings and…
your comment should be fixed on top of this comment section to be read by everyone. i agree with every single point. (also i think media maturity and literacy are key points here)

when the entitlement is so deep thatadults harass people because they can't stand the existence of something that just is not meant for them.

I really thought this would a be a show with high rewatch value for me, but now I’m not sure if my heart can…
as you can guess i'm the Jackie the ripper mentioned in xryzty's comment 😂 this is not a story but a tapestry, every single stich has a meaning, but we can see the whole work only when is finished. nothing is left to chance or the product of a shallow writing. but if by any chance you can't bear it let go

Some of y’all really need to think before posting hateful comments toward the creator/author. I’ve seen comments…
no one should be attacked because their vision doesn't resonate with some people. we're not talking about a tropey drama with shallow script that kills off a character because the writerr doesn't know how to move the story or what to do next. it's not that kind of story built on unnercessary dramas just for the sake of it. but this aspect fail to reach some people that throw a tantrum because they got it all wrong and now they blame the author for it.

This series has absolutely gripped me from the very first episode. It pains me that there has been such a negative…
i agree on every point. also i'd like to add that not everything is meant to be confortable, even classic bls. the writer doesn't owe us anything and certainly doesn't have to accomodate anyone feelings. there's already too much censorship from industries that don't want to disappoint their audience to the point of making beige production so that nothing is actually problematic. if people can stomach it well then they should watch something else.

i don't know, i saw it coming. depression (and Tian as a chatacter represent also depression) is a sneaky beast, on the surface everything might look fine but it actually is not. there were hint througout the series especially in the latest episodes. it doesn't make it any less painfull but somehow understantable

you know what, i think it's the people approach to this and other stories the problem. again, this drama is not for everyone for multiple reasons. what's pointless (and i'm not talking about this user) is blaming the writer for wantint to share her vision. you might disagree with it, you might even hate it, but you have to respect it, becaue it wasn't meant to lure you and then disappoint you. (not you you, you in general 😂)

OK, I'm going to write a few things that won't set well with many netizens and with the fans of the writer/director,…
of course you're entitled to your own opinion and to accept or not accept others explanations, including the very same autor. it's fine that TO YOU bls instead of a genre with many subgenre is pure scapism, it's really fine. as it's fine that a writer vision may not resonate with you. but you can't expect that every single one of them witll accomodate you and your needs. it's also fine if you don't feel confortable with this show anymore and you feel betrayed by something that make you feel this deeply, but not every single bl is the same. do you expect that all hollywood movies are romcoms? i guess this is your goodbye to this series and it's perfectly fine, if something triggers you you should step away by all means.. so goodbye and thank you

they started growing from the moment they started having a distinct personality and their own arc. Qinlang needs to go through 9 trubulations to find his way to love, i hope he's not taking us with him through all nine of them
