I came for romance. Got 17 billion won, Gangsters and Lizard pretending to be their dad instead. 😂 Funny in parts, but not enough to keep me hooked. And that ending made ZERO sense like Sir, when did you study law AND accounting? 😭. 7/10.
The title says it all. I dropped it at episode 5 because the story was pretty meh. I was hoping for a 'Positively Yours' vibe, but it falls way short. Since the episodes are short, I'll probably just skim the last 4 to see how it ends.

For real. I was confused too by the end. They might have good explanation for this in the novel but not in the drama. Too many plotholes. How he faked his death? how he was removed from the coffin ? How they took nearly dead man to the western reigns? How was he cured? How many people knew about this? I think ending was a hot mess.
The ending felt incredibly rushed. Historical C-drama writers really need to set aside a full final episode to neatly tie up all the loose ends. It makes absolutely no sense to give a 36-episode drama a mere 5-minute happy ending and a tiny bonus clip.The Male Lead was heavily poisoned for decades and even got stabbed in the chest, yet he just miraculously comes back to life. The writers should have dedicated a decent amount of time to show how he actually survived the stab wound and cured a lifelong poison. Furthermore, the final interactions between the ML and the little kid felt completely awkward. While I am all for family payoffs and happy endings, it shouldn't feel this forced and rushed. Overall 8/10
Pun is handsome, total ride-or-die, and tolerates zero BS. Loved his accent! The story itself was honestly kind of meh with plot holes. Also, the FL's accent barely changed by the end despite being tutored by him. Overall, the ML absolutely carried this show. 8/10.

Watched till ep 4, because Ep 1-4: chef's kiss romance. Ep 5 onwards apparently: communication issues, a persistent surgeon, and an open ending in New York. I'm good thanks 🙂 I came for a love story, not a 12 year tragedy. The ML deserved better and so did I 😌 Will recommend this Exit Strategy (8/10) to fellow watchers.

Honey Lee carries this entire drama on her back and makes it look effortless. Watching a loud, fearless, gangster-raised prosecutor accidentally infiltrate a cutthroat chaebol family is the most fun I've had watching a kdrama in a while. The comedy is genuinely funny, the villains are deliciously hateable, and the OTP has real chemistry that sneaks up on you. Minus one point because I wanted MORE villain punishment on screen, they deserved to suffer longer. But overall? Absolutely worth every episode. 🥜
OTPs chemistry was off the charts, cinematographically, acting wise it delivered, u may call it predictable but it was a trope-savvy and cute story . I seriously can't stand these haters. Guys what do you even want? Haters Nitpickers whatever🙄 10/10
The mystery is genuinely gripping and the plot twists will keep you hooked. I correctly predicted two major reveals which felt satisfying. However the drama seriously drops the ball on the romance. After 12 episodes of tension between Chanmi and Sooheon, the payoff is Meh. The Jaebom and Chanyu relationship also never gets properly explained which felt frustrating. Watch it for the thriller, not the romance. 7.5/10.
