Oh, I love Queen Love And War too @Tia, Jin Se Yeon is also good there, though historical drama doesn't need overly dramatic acting and the expression is kinda limited because their action is just in the words but her crying scenes are meaningful that one thing I liked about her 🥰 We may have different tastes in drama but I hope you enjoy QLAW 😊 But if you have time you should try watching Recipe for Love too this drama is good so far.

About Ha Ji Won she is also good in Chocolate and I also like her in Empress Ki with Ji Chang Wook and The King 2 Hearts with Lee Seung Gi and Jo Jung Suk, trivia back then in one interview of Jin Se Yeon she said her favorite actress is Ha Ji Won so it means she also admires Ha Ji Won's performance, though not a big fan of heavy drama right now but I'll also try checking out Climax.

You'd probably fight back too if your favorite actors or actresses was being criticized this is natural especially there's so many haters in this site, yeah I've got faves but I'm not that biased, I try to understand every actor and actress whether they have flaws or not, but I'm disappointed with misogynists in MDL, I'm sure there are many women on this site like us but they really harsh on their fellow women a.k.a actress, which is very annoying, I saw the comments about Climax it looks like there's a lot of negativity especially to Ha Ji Won because she accepted GL on her comeback drama, though GL drama is not actually my cup of tea but Ha Ji Won doesn't deserve the harsh comments from the other people, she is a good actress maybe she just wants to experience a different character, about Ju Ji Hoon I haven't watched the Climax yet because I'm craving for more heartwarming drama now, so I can't comment on his performance there yet but I like his other dramas like Trauma Code and Kingdom, I'm wondering if Climax is good or not? because there are mixed comments in that drama, about Jin Se Yeon, I understand your own perpective now about her, through your explanation but even if she inexperienced because she is a new actress that time but if the director and writer are good the acting of an actress won't be ruined, Jin Se Yeon can act well if the drama is deserving and it has a good script, good director and writer, honestly even anyone could've played Dami's character they can't saved that kind of character too, but whatever it is Jin Se Yeon still has cute visuals, so I'm still keeping up even not a big fan of this drama. Although we have different favorite genre to each it's own but not really a fan of writer Kim Soon Ok's works maybe makjang genre is not my thing as well, but if you have recommendation about any heartwarming lighthearted drama just let me know maybe I'll add it too in my watchlist thank you 😊

I know you're not a fan of Jin Se Yeon from the start your obviously bias of other actors but I want you to know that she is not a bad actress it's on directing, in her other dramas especially now in Recipe for Love she's improved a lot, if the drama, writers and directors are good, she was able to deliver well, so I was hoping she wouldn't accept this kind of drama because it didn't really help to her acting ability and progress, but neverthless her acting is not that bad here, the main problem is the style of directing, she is actually a promising actress and has potential, her acting growth is wasted in the wrong projects, sometimes I'd rather want to see more Jin Se Yeon in heartwarming lighthearted drama and great sageuk with a good director and writer that to do justice her acting abilities than in bad makjang, thriller, melodrama, bad romcom or any complicated series that are not really contributing to her growth, so I hope after Recipe for Love she get another heartwarming drama again but in sageuk drama or profession drama that her role is a warm-hearted teacher to her students or a nurse with care for her patients, anyway I'm still happy now at least I got to see her growth in her new drama and that's when it proved she is a good actress too. Don't worry @Tia I know you're not a bad person unlike some other commenters here in this site but the problem you are a bias person, maybe because we all have different perspectives too.

Five Fingers is actually a good premise but the plot and directing is kinda messy, actually I like all the actors and actresses in this drama because they're also friendly in real life and became good friends to Jin Se Yeon, especially Ju Ji Hoon but after this series I stopped watching any drama from this writer and director because not a big fan of their works, I love the actors and actresses here but disappointed in writer and director.

I get your point of view but the rating is an important factor here, the people are confused and they're hesitant to watch it, because of low rating, though we are familiar in the unreliable or fluctuations rating system of MDL, how about those who are not? I can still understand it, even if it stays at 8.0 while the drama is still ongoing and when it's finished then that's when we can give a fair ratings, though we know there are many haters in this site who give low scores even before the drama, honestly MDL's rating is always weird and unfair, same thing happens in other k-drama pages too.

The rating in MDL is really messy, undeserving and unreliable what's new? recently this drama is 8.0 and now it's dropped from 7.8, I knew this would happen because a lot of people in this site are definitely favoritism and haters, except for the real commenters who are fair in their comments or ratings. The sad reality they prefer overrated and weird dramas even more, I'm sure if they find one more thing that they don't like in this drama and characters the rating will drop even lower, even though the story isn't that bad so far, MDL's rating is really crazy and unjust, so I've learned not to rely too much in the ratings in this site. 🤷

Anyway it's nice to see or read in other thread and SNS that many viewers love the chemistry and romance between Ju A and Hyeon Bin, only MDL few commenters are salty, I understand if there's no good communication between FL and ML here and the love triangle is strong and that's considered a bad romance but in this drama the main couple are always honest to each other and their interaction is so pure and sweet whether they upset or not, it is rare a honesty in a relationship, though Ju A and Hyeon Bin still have a weaknesses part because the conflict situation between their families but the good thing and admirable, I love how honest and sweet they are that built a good chemistry between them, sometimes the other commenters here are obviously bias of other supporting characters and they don't know how to comment fairly because of being bias, they're blind to the truth of true love, bitterness and enviness.

From now on no matter what happens and what's going through between the relationship of Ju A and Hyeon Bin I'm still with them because I realized every relationship has it's problems and challenges and also from now on I won't mind the pointless things that the other commenters say.

Though we always have different opinions and perspectives in this drama but I don't think the romance and the chemistry between ML and FL is bad though they have own weaknesses through the conflict situation from their families but the good thing with them they are honest to each other and their interaction together is so sweet, like a real couple, honestly every relationship is not always a rainbow, I understand why Gong Ju A still hesitant to reveal her relationship to Hyeon Bin because the situation between in their families are still complicated, especially the most problem here the stepmother but for sure their relationship will be revealed in due time, there's no secrets that won't be revealed, so no matter what happens in the relationship of our main couple whether they break up or not I won't give up on this drama because the reality of relationship is not always a bed of roses, it's still have trials and problems, so I'll still root for this couple till' the end nothing will change, guys this drama has long episodes surely lots more will happen, just remember the reality of FAMILY is not always perfect, even in drama Once Again there are also many problems and trials from every character's relationship but the good thing so far in Recipe for Love every episode is still engaging with heartwarming and funny scenes, as long as I'm enjoying the story of this drama so far, I'll still treasure every moment of it and I don't mind the MDL's ratings at all.

Episode 21: Trailer

From the trailer of episode 21, it looks like Gong Ju A and Yang Hyeon Bin being sweet again and the uncle confessed his love to auntie but the problem the secrets revealed of what Seri and Dong Ik's badly done to Ju A , the next episode looks interesting.

Although we have different opinion in this drama but I don't see anything bad in acting of ML here, honestly he also did a great job in this drama, his crying scenes are really good and on point, about the romance actually I really appreciate the romantic story between the ML and FL here because of their romance I was hooked enough to ended up loving this drama, I'm really impressed with their romance because at least no matter they've gone through their loyalty to each other is still strong. "Loyalty of love" is most important here and it's not like anything else, so for me overall their love story is very convincing 💯

And I remember during this drama there were also many viewers who got swooned by the love story between ML and FL, because their chemistry and their respective love story is beautiful, so what most people say will still prevail 💕

And this drama is one of the best during 2019-2020 😘😘😘
