I rewatched episode 26 last night and now I understand each character's traits here so much more, I like the part where Ju A drove her mom and they had a heart-to-heart talk, their behavior might have flaws because no one is perfect in this world but I can feel what's in their hearts, Jin Se Yeon and Yoo Ho Jung did a great job in this scene, they acting felt like a real mother and daughter, what a great performance for these two good actresses, now I understand even more why the k-viewers liked them in this drama 🥰🥰
Jung Han wasn't a perfect husband either but when he found out his wife had cancer, I could feel his tears and realized how important his wife was, even though their marriage wasn't compatible, Kim Seung Soo did a great job too on his performance he also a great actor 😘
And also I could feel the conversation between Yang Hyeon Bin and Ju A's mother, this scene with Park Ki Woong and Yoo Ho Jung made me cry so much, their performance was so effective!😍😍
And I also liked the heartfelt conversation between our main couple Ju A and Hyeon Bin they're such a sweet and honest couple, I also just want to hug Ju A in this kind of situation, so I suddenly remembered this song from their scene:
This episode made me laugh, made me cry and it was healing for me, there may still be secrets and a lot more will happen in the next episodes but the heart in this drama never disappears, actually I rarely feel this way in a family drama, thanks to Recipe for Love I got the chance to feel a family drama again cause after Once Again I lost interest in any family series, kudos to the writer and director they did justice to every performance and character of the cast in this drama, each cast member fits their character perfectly, I don't know how the cast here will get awards for their excellent performance? because it's always Netflix, Disney and only popular dramas who get nominated in every award-giving body "this is unfair reality" However I hope the actors/actresses in this drama still get an awards because they are also very deserving..
And please! I hope these talented cast members get more opportunities because I keep noticing that it's always the same actor's faces I see in every casting news, it's really sad reality it's a connections or backing system in k-industry, I hope they don't waste the talent of these great actors/actresses and give them more chances that they deserve..
Also what's great about this drama I haven't seen any bad acting or boring scenes so far and this drama gave Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong the chance to further improve their acting skills, that's why I'm even more proud of them now, so I hope I get to see them again in this kind of heartwarming drama because they both nailed it..
And lastly whatever happens in the story because family isn't really perfect anyway, surely there's more to come but I still wish for the best in the remaining episodes of this drama 🙏

I noticed all the commenters here and in youtube are criticizing FL's behavior, even me I don't condone her actions either but in the past episodes even though she is not always perfect but as you can see she still has a mature attitude, I think the FL is like this because she's adopting her family's behavior, since she's with them everyday. The Gong family is warm fam but it's because of their runaway spouse/father/grandpa, they still can't handle the situations properly. All the things happening in this drama have a reason, so even though all the characters here have flaws but for me this kind of situation is still relatable because no one is perfect we all have own flaws too, now I get why their attitude is still like that because the story's still long and there's a lot more to happen like in drama Once Again, Recipe for Love and this drama has the same vibes but of course if the right time will come they still realize their mistakes and they'll finally get the chance to change, about the birth secret and illness tropes, I think these tropes are still necessary for this drama with Seri's looks there's no way she doesn't have own child? And about the FL's mother's sickness, I suddenly remembered my relatives who also have cancer, so I hope that even if she's not a perfect mother she'll still survive this illness, however at least the tropes in this drama don't feel forced and Recipe for Love is still refreshing in many ways.
For those who make assumptions about this drama, the writer has an unpredictable mind, so whatever you're thinking will depends on where the story actually goes.
And for those saying that the father role doesn't fit Kim Seung Soo, I disagree with this maybe we have different perspectives in every character of this drama but for me he's still nailed his character well, he is a versatile actor whom I admire, so I really appreciate his dedication to this drama.

I like the flow of this drama so far, even though I'm clueless about what will really happen in the entirety of this story but I'll still keep watching it as long as I can, I barely see my Bridal Mask or HyunJu babies Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong in dramas these days and I really miss so bad the Bridal Mask cast, so I don't want to miss the chance too to watch them again in this kind of interesting project and I genuinely appreciate the strong or great performances from the whole cast of this drama, it's a pleasure that Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong had the chance to collaborate with both skilled veteran actors/actresses and promising young actors/actresses in this project, so regardless of where this drama's story goes, I'm sticking with it because I've been invested this drama since the beginning, if I managed to sit through that drama Once Again with 100 episodes then I can get through this drama for sure, guys after this drama ends I'm not sure if I'll still able to watch the next family drama because I'm sure I won't be able to move on right away either from it because this drama holds so many memories for me and we are here for 5/6 months so after this, I'll definitely miss everyone's here especially those who gave fair feedback on this drama.

Like I said before family life isn't always a rainbow, it's natural to have fights in this kind of situation because in the plot it's clear that there is a family feud, as long as they don't know the real story about their parents/ grandparents/ spouses who ran away the ML and FL's fathers and also FL's mother and & ML's stepmother definitely going to keep arguing repeatedly and that's their role but of course I hope the writer still handles the story in a right way, so the whole story stays consistent until the end..

I suddenly remembered The Flower In Prison starring by Jin Se Yeon, veteran actor/actress Kim Mi Sook and Joo Jin Mo who also part of Recipe for Love, their historical drama will be also 10th Anniversary this month and now while I'm watching them in Recipe for Love, I always remember them in The Flower In Prison and how they became friends during that drama, time flies I followed this drama back 2016 and now we are on 2026, I'm happy they got a chance to reunite in Recipe for Love, what a memorable moment? 🥰
After Recipe for Love or maybe in the future I'm hoping to see Jin Se Yeon in historical drama again, I suddenly missed her in this genre.
In episodes 21-22 started having ups and downs in the family and there are weaknesses through secrets from relationship etc.. but it still an interesting episodes with good acting from the cast.
I understand every opinion from these episodes, I hope Ju A and Hyeon Bin reveal their true relationship from their family at the right moment and not drag it out and I also hope they should stop deceiving their family from their real relationship, so the situation doesn't get worse, I don't like the idea that they pretended Jun Hyeok as Ju A's boyfriend just to cover up their real relationship, I hope this doesn't become a way for Jun Hyeok to make him a third wheel, if this happens this is not good anymore, I hope the writer thinks this through and doesn't make the situation more complicated between Hyeon Bin and Ju A's relationship, she started the main couple with refreshing without third wheel or love square, I hope she does this until the end and don't drag it out just to create a third wheel mess, I also hope she doesn't ruin Ju A and Hyeon Bin's characters, just to have something to get annoyed about because I don't want to be disappointed either..
