Same here, have you watched her new drama Recipe for Love? For now, it seems like she is fixing her transfer to Fantagio first, so we will see what her projects will be in the future. I hope she doesn't go on a long hiatus and that her new agency gets her good projects right away 🙏
According to media reports, Jin Se Yeon has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio to collaborate in the future. Jin Se Yeon is an actress who has starred in dramas including "Recipe for Love", "Bad Memory Eraser", "Born Again" and many more. ________________
So Jin Se Yeon's new agency is Fantagio, I hope this agency takes good care of her because Jin Se Yeon also deserves to experience good projects in the future. I wish all the best for her, I hope she achieves her dream and I hope she continues to achieve success in her career, here I am continuing to root for her and support her in the journey of her career. I will pray that God continues to guide her in every decision she makes, I hope she receives beautiful blessings in her career. I love Jin Se Yeon, I hope God always blesses her 🙏🙏🙏
I watched many 12-16 ep Shorter Kdramas alongside watching this one,Many of the Shorter dramas were soooooooo…
You mentioned those 12-16 episodes, the only ones I've watched this year with that episode count are "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier" and "Spooky in Love" Although "Spooky in Love" isn't perfect, but at least I still watched it in full. There are many short-episode dramas now that are slow, so I've only watched a few short dramas this year. And I'll see if "100 Days of Deception" and "Merry Berry Love" are worth watching because I'm in a very big slump this year since many dramas are boring.
To be honest, what I really enjoyed the most this year is "Recipe for Love", I never got bored at all. And because I don't have any kdrama I'm watching so far, that's why I'm rewatching this drama again.
Completed watching the whole drama now. Can't agree with the people who thinks the drama went downhill in latter…
I agree with you when you said that this drama is not boring and that you didn't see it go downhill. We have the same perspective about it. But about the flakey parts of the FL, that's what her perspective became because there were many obstacles in her relationship with the ML. But what's important is she was able to reflect on how they could be together again with the ML and she stood by her love for the ML. What's good is at least her character still grew and she fixed what her shortcomings or weaknesses were. Like I said before, there is no perfect family or relationship in love life. Every family or relationship experiences flaws. At least no matter what happens, this drama showed different kinds of human behavior. The realism and moral lesson of the story is still there. What's good is the love and caring of each family in this story doesn't disappear. About the minor flaws you mentioned, there's nothing I can do if that's your opinion, though we each have our own opinion. But what's good about this drama is the growth of each family, behavior, love story and the writer still wrote what the viewers want, especially in the ending. So for me, aside from "Once Again" and "My Father Is Strange", "Recipe for Love" is also one of the family dramas with the best story. Very heartwarming and the love story and family dynamics are well-made. It's not like in makjang where there are so many irritating characters, so messy and there are many flaws in the protagonists.
That's why this drama doesn't deserve a 7.6 rating. I can accept an 8.0 because nowadays, this is already considered a high rating for a family drama.
Recipe for Love OST's nominated in Korea Drama Awards 2026 and it's so cute that the cover in it are Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong 😍😍
Whatever others say when comparing "Recipe for Love" and the main leads to other family dramas in the comment section here on MDL, it cannot be denied that "Recipe for Love" is one of those with the most beautiful script, family dynamics, love story, and chemistry between the main leads. I’m happy that I’m reading a lot of comments on different platforms saying they are the best couple and that they like the chemistry of Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong. Here on MDL and YouTube, all they know is to compare and trash-talk, so sometimes the comments here are not really always trustworthy because there are many haters on this kind of site.
To those viewers on MDL, if you come across comparisons, negative comments, or trash-talk about this drama and the characters, don't believe them right away, because in truth the story of this drama is so good, it's so light, very heartwarming, it has a good lesson and it's very worth watching — even though the episodes are long, there is no boring scene.
To be honest, some commenters here are so thick-faced — they love to compare and trash-talk, but their favorite family dramas aren't perfect either. The only most enjoyable family dramas really are this "Recipe for Love", "Once Again", and "My Father Is Strange"
For the viewers who are looking for a good family drama, I highly recommend "Recipe for Love", "Once Again", and "My Father Is Strange". All of these dramas are enjoyable to watch and not terrible frustrating makjang dramas.
Jin Se Yeon with actors, her appa and father in law Kim Seung Soo and Kim Hyung Mook were met in one event, it's nice to see that Recipe for Love cast still keep in touch, I love their strong friendship so much! 🥰
I love this, Jin Se Yeon really close to her Recipe for Love family ❤️❤️❤️
Here's the whole upate of the event that I mentioned recently, he posted the pictures of some cast members of Recipe for Love with Jin Se Yeon, aside from Jin Se Yeon and Kim Hyung Mook, Choi Dae Chul as Dae Han was also there. I'm happy that the three stooges Dae Han, Bucket, and Jung Han met again at an event.
Kim Seung Soo really treats Jin Se Yeon like his own daughter. I'm happy with the beautiful and solid friendship of the Recipe for Love family. After the drama ended, they really invited Jin Se Yeon on their events, and Ju A is really a very supportive co-star that's why I love the cast of Recipe for Love, they treated each other as real friends and family 🥰

I’m so thankful that I invested this drama because honestly, it’s been a long time since I last watched a family drama after "Once Again". "Recipe for Love" is really the reason why I came back to watching long dramas. If it weren’t for this drama, I might have fallen into a deeper slump this year, because it’s been so long since I last invested in a drama that I really, really like. And I’ve never felt this before and even now with any other family drama except for "Once Again" and "My Father Is Strange". The joy that "Recipe for Love" brings me hits different. This drama is truly the best.
Not only is the story good, the cast are also friends even in real life, so the airing of "Recipe for Love" this 2026 is such a big blessing 💕
Following the conclusion of tvN’s "Spooky in Love" Yang Se Jong looked back on his experience playing Ma Gang Uk and working alongside Park Eun Bin.
He shared that he and Park Eun Bin communicated naturally, partly because they are the same age, which helped their chemistry translate smoothly on screen. He also enjoyed portraying the contrast between Gang Uk and Yeo Ri, saying their differences made their scenes particularly fun to act.
Looking back on the drama, Yang Se Jong described Spooky in Love as "a drama that made me happy because I was able to work with good people." He said the laughter and good memories he shared with the cast and crew will stay with him for a long time.
As for Gang Uk, Yang Se Jong said the character brought him plenty of laughter and enjoyable moments before warmly saying, Thank you, Gang Uk! Goodbye.
________
Although Yang Se Jong is very introverted and he doesn't post often on his IG, despite everything I'm still happy and glad that he had a good experience working with his co-stars in "Spooky in Love" especially to Park Eun Bin 🥰
And the good news Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong ranked 1st and 2nd in the latest list of Top 10 TV and OTT drama actors who Generated the Most Buzz
Although the comments for this drama are mixed, at least there are still a lot of viewers who support and love Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong. It's proof that people still want to see this team-up.
And I’m happy that after "Spooky in Love" Park Eun Bin is booked and busy. She has an upcoming drama and movie, and I like the cast of her new movie. She’ll be paired with Wi Ha Joon here, and she’ll be working for the first time with the amazing actress Yeom Jung Ah, I'm wishing for her success in her future projects. Eun Bin is not only talented but also professional and hardworking actress 🥰❤️
Now that Yang Se Jong is being recognized from "Spooky in Love", I hope he also get more project offers. Same with Ong Seong Wu. Every cast member in this drama deserves to be cast in lots of projects because they’re all really great actors and actresses..
It's nice to see that the younger version of Kang Eun Bo and King Lee Gyung are still keep in touch and friends until now, and they grew up well — pretty and handsome — and both are still lovely 🥹🥰🥰
And It's so nice to see that Jin Se Yeon's other co-stars are still friends and still have a good relationship until now. It just proves that they had great teamwork and friendship during that drama. And Jin Se Yeon herself is very close and continues to maintain good friendships with her co-stars. So I'm happy that Jin Se Yeon is getting more and more close friends among fellow actors/actresses. She's such a lovely person and actress 😍❤️
Actually the romance here isn’t bad at all. What’s good is that no matter what problems they faced, the main…
Sorry, I misunderstood you because your first words were confusing 😅 You said it clearly that "Some family relationships are even sweeter to watch than the romances", so I misinterpreted it.
You know why I’m defending the romance in this drama? Because love stories like this are so rare — ones with no troublemaking tropes. Usually in other dramas there’s always a love triangle/love square or cheating. So I really admire the writer here. For 50 episodes she didn’t put in any annoying trope like cheating or love triangle/love square in the love story of the main couple. No matter what problems they faced, the main couple still remained faithful and loyal in their relationship. Actually I'm so thankful to writer Park Ji Sook even though this drama was made so long, she still did justice the main couple’s love story.
Some of these family relationships are even sweeter to watch than the romances.I mean SeRi and her two daughters!…
Actually the romance here isn’t bad at all. What’s good is that no matter what problems they faced, the main couple still grew and they fought for their love. No matter what happened, they didn’t cheat on each other. There’s no ex-gf or ex-bf causing trouble, and no third wheel or love square. Compared to other love stories in family dramas, the main couple’s love story in "Recipe for Love" was built better. So both the romance and the family relationships were written really well by the writer.
Whatever it is, I miss this beautiful couple so much! 🥹🥰🥰
Cheon Yeo Ri ❤️ Ma Gang Uk
I hope they still get a chance to reunite in a better drama or movie again but this time as a married couple. Their chemistry really suits each other so well. They’re still one of my favorite couples this year! 😘😘
Maybe this drama is not perfect but wraps up on a high note with a peak rating 9% Nationwide

Power of Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong! ✨🔥
Although this drama is rarely promoted, but because of the great and strong cast of "Spooky in Love" the rating and views are still high, so whatever the story it is, still..Congratulations for the hardwork of the whole cast of "Spooky in Love" 👏👏👏
honesly i really enjoyed this drama i fineshed in my own time and never felt bored. even tho there were some stuff…
Thank you Suzie for enjoying this drama too, and thank you for liking and understanding the characters of the main couple. Although the family here isn’t perfect, because that really happens in real life too and there’s no such thing as a perfect family. But what’s great is that the writer still wrote the story well — every episode isn’t boring and it was written realistically. Even though the families aren’t perfect, the caring and love for each other is still there. Honestly this drama is one of the great family long series this year, very heartwarming, it's also well made when it comes to family dynamics and has a lot of lessons. At least you understood the story well compared to other commenters who are looking for a perfect drama. Thank you for also sharing your own opinion about this drama.
Despite the mixed comments about this drama, the ending still recorded high ratings, at least it's not a total flop, Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong still managed to save the drama.
And there are beautiful photos and video of the "Spooky in Love" cast from IG

Although when it comes to the final episode, "Recipe for Love" still has one of the most satisfying endings and is one of the best family dramas that aired this year. But even if "Spooky in Love" isn’t perfect when it comes to the story, the important thing is I still enjoyed other parts of its episodes. Sad to say after all the kdramas I've watched this year. I don’t have anything to watch this weekend so I’m going back to my kdrama slump era again. It depends on what kdrama I’ll end up watching because there aren’t many captivating kdramas left that I’m looking forward to. I rarely watch kdramas now. I only got back into it because of "Recipe for Love". Thank goodness, because the story was so good and so heartwarming it's highly recommended drama, same with "Legend of the Kitchen Soldier" although it's opposite in the story of "Spooky in Love" but I still enjoyed this drama, I might go back to watching variety shows, anime, cartoons, short dramas, movies and random international dramas from different countries and I'm going to rewatch dramas again. Since the pandemic, I’ve skipped a lot of kdramas because some of them don’t have consistent stories.
Anyway it's Ong Seung Wu's birthday today, Happy Birthday! 🎂🥳🥳🥳
Although my weekend slump is starting, thank goodness Jin Se Yeon and some of the Recipe for Love cast still made me happy. Jin Se Yeon posted on her IG story and one of her co star who played co fashion designer Kim Jong Hun invited them to a musical theater event. The other co fashion designer was there too and Han Seung Won as Jun Hyeok was also there.
This isn’t the end here for the Recipe for Love team’s friendship. Even after the drama ended, their good friendship continues. I’m so happy rooting for this cast because their heartwarming friendship is really important. They treasure it and they’re really like a real family now.
This is the best family drama of the year for me. Whether it wins an award or not, since there’s favoritism in any award giving-bodies anyway, what’s important is that this drama was made well and got a lot of positive comments from real viewers and that is the true success..
i'm praying for a drama with kim myung soo, please 😭 (they did 2 mvs together)
Oh, friend it's been a while. I'm happy that you commented again here on Jin Se Yeon's page. About Jin Se Yeon and Kim Myung Soo, I also watched their MV and it's a masterpiece. The 2 MVs are so beautiful and realistic. And yes, they do have good chemistry too. But how things go in kdrama depends on whether people who've worked together on one project get paired up again. But if there's still a chance for Jin Se Yeon and Kim Myung Soo to be paired up again in drama that's okay too because their teamwork was good when they did the MV.
Episodes 9-11 had a lot of angst. Although the ending of this drama felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t totally bad. At least the story ended happily. But of course we still need a satisfying ending. Among the dramas that ended this year, I still liked the satisfying final episode of "Recipe for Love" more. Still, I was able to finish watching "Spooky in Love" and I still really liked the pairing of Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong. Although this drama wasn’t perfect, but there were still parts of the story that I liked.
What makes me sad is that my weekend slump is back. Right now I don’t have anything to watch every Saturday and Sunday. The ones currently airing aren’t really my cup of tea. So I’m still going to miss "Recipe for Love" and "Spooky in Love"
Anyway, thank you to everyone who always replied, liked and understand my comments about this drama. I’m going to miss you all here in the comment section.
