The main story for both revolves mainly around stolen identity and one character trying to be another, but they each have different background and plot twists.
Both of their plots are very similar. Both involve psychopathic killers and neurosurgery that affects psychopath tendencies.
They are both similar in that there is a switch in the lifestyle of the main characters. But in "Familiar Wife" it's more of the reverse situation. The main character switches from an unhappy married life to a life that they used to fantasize about.
