I've re-watched 25 21 countless times and never get sick of it. The funny bits are still really funny and the emotional parts still pack a punch, but fewer tissues are needed.

BYJ goes to New York in Sept 2001 and NHD breaks up with him in 2002. The story jumps forward 7 years (labelled on screen) when BJY is appointed the UBS news anchor. He interviews NHD in 2009 after she wins her 3rd consecutive "Olympic" gold medal and belatedly congratulates her on her marriage. The time jumps are therefore clear and NHD doesn't replace BYJ straight away.
One issue I have with the timeline is with NHD's daughter's age. If she was 15, then NHD would've gotten married in 2007 at the latest. Why would BYJ belated congratulate her on the marriage 2 years later if she was already a mother? If they had made the daughter 12, it would've made sense that NHD got married just before the 2009 games and had her daughter after she retired. The way the daughter was dressed on the show was too babyish for a 15 yo. But maybe they made her 15 because they thought 12 was too young to be reading the diary.

There are several reviews on IMDB where the person says they loved up to ep 14/15, but then give a 1/10 rating because of the ending! WTF?!
I get that many people don't like the ending, but they should still give a reasonable score overall if they loved it until then. If a gymnast falls etc, then the judges give a set score deduction and don't disregard what happened before, so drama reviewers should do the same. Unfortunately IMDB doesn't have a Comments section. 🤬

Yes, if people really listen to what the characters say throughout the drama instead of shipping them at all costs, then they will understand the ending and won't be too disappointed. Plus it doesn't matter who NHD's husband is, people just have to accept that it's not BYJ. 😪

IMO it was BYJ who was closed off and didn't share his feelings as NHD wanted him to. He didn't even tell her that he was applying for the NY job! NHD knew her support wasn't reaching him, they weren't going to see each other much and that his career was equally important, so she had to let him go for both their sakes. She needed someone emotionally available & supportive and not someone who was becoming like her mother. They both had different dreams to achieve, so sadly it wasn't the right time to be together. 😪

Is KTR ever going to have a drama/film with "normal" parents, who are both alive & together and don't have more issues than she does? 😆

Vampire KTR will probably be doing "youth" projects for the next 10 years! After she does JN, the only genres left to cover will be cowboy/ western and a happy ending rom-com. I don't like the odds of ever getting the latter! 😔

I think the evil spirit has a crush on Hongsae though! 😆

I'm really enjoying it so far, but the goat/sheep sound effects are way overdone and are really annoying.

A Twitter post said that red beans are tradtionally used to scare ghosts away, so Evil Granny Na knows that Sanyeong isn't the evil spirit after she ate some of the mochi. The evil spirit would've spat it out and raided the pantry instead. I think Evil Granny has given a false name to test Sanyeong's reaction.

The FL does yell a bit in Ep 1 as she's very exuberant, but settles down. I highly recommend watching it all.

There's so much to think about and it doesn't help that I'm watching it at 2:30am!

I think sacrificing a 2nd child is to create an evil spirit. I think that the price Prof Gu had to pay was the unborn child and being the 2nd child was a red herring.

This is the price to pay for having the evil spirit's power, but Sanyeong didn't know this.

My theory is that it's Grandpa Yeom's child and nothing to do with Grandma Na, so that's how she can cold-bloodedly get rid of her (and smile when it was being done). She kept it a secret from Grandpa Yeom. The evil spirit doesn't want her name to be discovered because she still wants revenge on Grandma Na.

My out-there theory is that the evil spirit is Grandpa Yeom's love child (his second child), who got adopted out to Mokdan's parents, who thought they couldn't have kids, but had Mokdan later. Mokdan is the second child but firstborn. Grandma Na finds out about the love child and pays the Shaman to get rid of her.

I'd recommend watching 25 21 for KTR alone.
