A HARD no to everything else.
It’s like a 13 year old wrote some mediocre fan fiction then crowdfunded a couple of grand to make it.

I’ve rarely seen a flat/apartment in a Chinese drama that I haven’t immediately wanted to move into :)

Very enjoyable up until ep15 but I am knocking off an entire point for the abominably lazy writing/trope-ridden plot devices in ep16…ugh…

This had EVERYTHING going for it - amazing cast (Lee Soo Hyuk!), an interesting premise, a lot of investment and a great OST but sadly the story and script completely failed this drama. It feels like literally NOTHING happened (not figuratively, literally).

I think this show was trying to be wise and questioning and existential, but it was ultimately boring. Usually, I love slow dramas that are all about character but this was not one, the characters were not complex enough to be interesting.

Such a missed opportunity *sad face forever*

Really liked this show. I have to admit that I skipped a couple of eps in the middle due to what I refer to as a ‘silly blip in the narrative’ but loved it overall.

This show appears to have borrowed some of the BGM from the Drama 'Healer' - very apt given the subject matter...lol

Love the little oddly out of place details like Xu Kai’s character having a copy of ‘The Thorn Birds’ on his bedside table…lol

Is it me or am I just seeing cigarettes everywhere in recent dramas? This drama and ‘Doom at your service’ had very prominent cigarette visibility.

I want to give this show a massive hug…it’s just that cute :)

I watched the first ep and so far it’s definitely caught my interest.

Side note: The ML reminds me a little of Lee Min Ki :)
