I was looking forward to the break-up and I wasn't disappointed at all. The execution was beautiful. All that emotion. Whoosh. *chef's kiss* That was the only loose end I wanted to see tied up. Not particularly interested in present-day Hee Do or her husband. They were just plot devices.

Someone should please make a compilation of Hee Do and Yu Rim making sweet eyes at each other.

This drama is so alive for many reasons that transcend the romance between YJ and HD. The romance is actually the least interesting part of this drama for me. Of course, I cheered for their love but I cheered even louder for the friendships and the growth of all the characters. I'm sure by the time I rewatch the drama, I'll notice its flaws but today, to me, it's as close to perfect as a k-drama can ever be. The actors, writer, director, etc. all deserve their flowers.

If they could communicate properly from the start this show would have length of one episode.
deep existential sigh.

So... he knows he suspects he knows but everyone's still acting like his actions are just coincidences? Thought by now we'd have the answer to the distrust between the leads but I guess that's not going to happen till ep 12.

Don't intend to watch this series but I keep coming back to read the "this show is a confusing mess but I'll keep watching" comments. They're funny as hell.

Did anyone else catch the shade in ep 11 when Seung Wan said, "I truly love music, you see. I didn't go because of my love" in response to why she didn't go and watch Ji Woong?

You can park a trailer between their bodies and still have room for two tricycles. How do you kiss someone that deeply and not naturally pull them closer?

Han Na's mum in that final scene almost ruined it for me because why is she there smiling? All she contributed was stress and pain. Ugh.

Enjoyed this drama a lot. No draggy plotlines and unnecessary angst and despite the spin in the latter half, they still managed to keep it light. Dae Il would have been very pleased with the chaos in that scene with the tear gas.

Hope Lee Shin Young gets more lead roles. He's a promising actor.

There are parts of this drama that have been a letdown because of expectations I'd built up but eight episodes in, I finally get why I can't drop this drama.

As much as dying trumps everything else and it feels like the focus should be more on Chan Young, I like that the filmmakers are giving a lot more screentime to Mi Jo. I have found myself rolling my eyes several times at her character but I also understand her and I empathise with her. Seon Woo is the best boy and the perfect match for her.

Also, given the temperament of the characters, the fact that they've been present in each other's lives for 20+ years and the context of what each character is dealing with right now, I don't know what more chemistry they should have. More scenes of the three women together would have been splendid though.

I'd like to delve into the whole Chan Young/Jin Seok dynamic but nope. Will just say I hope they get to be lovers and spend CY's last days together. Divorce or no divorce.

Yet another cooking series and by the director of Gen Y. I think that's a no for me. Is there some annual summit…
Has there been any food-themed BL that really hit the spot? I liked the first few episodes of Ingredients but that's about it.

How does this drama manage to get better with each episode? Howwwww?

This episode is my fave by far. The funny scenes right after the tear-jerkers. Hee-do is the best girl, truly.

I liked it, but I don't think it's as perfect as everyone seems to feel. First of all, it's time for Korea to…
Where Your Eyes Linger was the first BL I ever watched and yeah, this comes close. Another thing this series did right is the nerd fashion for Sang Woo. None of those ridiculous glasses and weird hairstyles Thai BLs favour. It really helped.

First of all, the sex scenes *chef's kiss* Actually surprised to find out the director is a man but then again all the Japanese films I've seen balance sex scenes very well and don't just cater to the male gaze.

The story itself is pretty ordinary except it deals with a subject matter that gets people all heated up and looking at the comments, some people are pissed as fuck. I'll give the writer a 10 just for the ability to elicit such strong reactions. And the actors too for bodying their roles so well.

I don't see anyone talking about how the female characters "got away with cheating" complaining about the redemptive arc for the abusive husband. Shouldn't he have gone to jail or something? It's nice when bad behaviour is punished and tied away neatly with a bow but life is hardly like that and that's what this drama shows.

That's why the comment sections exist - to allow people let out pent-up frustrations/anger about fictional characters because there's little they can do when they encounter these situations irl.

I've seen a number of your comments including the ones wishing women that their partners cheat on them because they're not shouting for these fictional women to be tied to the stake and burnt. You feel really strongly about this. Keep up the good work.
