I'm a sucker for straight-up romance, no angst. This ticked all the boxes for a feel-good romance movie with the appropriate amount of cheesiness. I'll certainly be rewatching this a few more times in the new year.
Such a cutie. I love her voice and that she's not "beautiful" in that cookie-cutter way a lot of FLs are. She doesn't have the widest range when it comes to embodying her characters and I think she still has room to grow. Looking forward to her future projects.
Jimmy is doing a fantastic job as Wai, and I'm really looking forward to him in a lead role, but his character…
They could have actually written Wai to get in between them without all the violent peacocking because it is understandable that he's suspicious of Pat around Pran.
The show reminds me of a line from Neil Gaiman's American Gods - There was a girl, and her uncle sold her. That is the tale; the rest is detail.
I am a huge fan of stories that don't tie up everything pretty with a bow so this was right up my alley. The acting was straight 9 for me. I quite liked the split in the story. It was like two hazy snapshots taken of a chain of longer events. What you see (or not) is what you get. Story and acting aside, everything else was pretty mid.
Well I'm almost through episode 1 and I really hope I don't have to hear or see that member of Arrowhead streaming…
You will have to. He's in eps 2/3 as well. Utterly cringe but I thought the acting was on point. Have you seen some religious teachers/leaders preach? Add some face paint and a costume and you have that Arrowhead member.
Why bring this here though? If you really cared about the many people who put in their hard work, you would direct your ire towards the actor and do this on his page not on the movie's page. Or commit to the process and leave this message on the page of every movie he's made and not just this one.
I'm not looking for a fight. It's just that when you mention an actor's wrongdoing, you immediately turn certain people away from their work. So your "second" does not make a difference.
The slaps totally made my day.
Personally, I drop shows/movies the second I stop enjoying them. Life is too short.
