It's sick and wrong that a 35 year old successful attorney would ever be that crazy and cringey over an idol.…
What has she done that's crazy and demented? She's happy and she's not hurting anyone else. How is that a bad thing? If she spent all her free time on knitting and buying knitting supplies and watching knitting tutorials would it be crazy and demented?
Lost all interest after ep 7. Been struggling to watch ep 8 for days but I'm just going to give up and drop it. It had so much promise and they botched the ending.
I didn't take it as a BL teaser, not even sure where you got that idea. It was wrapping up the second half of…
They got their popular actor friends to make cameos. That's all there is to that last scene. We see it all the time in K-dramas. Something to make viewers a little happy.
I'm not a fan of disaster movies but watched this for Da-mi and the sci-fi tag. And boy was I pleasantly surprised by the twist in the middle. It's a pretty straightforward movie and self-explanatory for the most part. The rating isn't reflective of the quality of the move but the annoyance of people who wanted a disaster movie from start to finish.
Could have been without a kiss and I'd have loved it just as much so the nature of the kiss doesn't matter to me at all. This was such a good show. Consistent tone all through, lovely characters, beautiful leads. Very much worth the watch.
Like many other things, romance is defined by hetero western standards. Because if you ask anyone who says there isn't enough romance in this film what they mean, I bet you the things they list will be based on those standards. In which case they'd be right. However this is a queer film based on a manga series. Completely different standards.
My first grouse with this is how bland all the minor characters were. They were good for exposition but that's about it. Funny enough the only minor characters who stood out to me were the journalists. Everyone one else just felt like talking heads. My second grouse is the dancing at the Cuban clubs. WTF was that? A huge nope.
What I loved. Everything else. The acting. The development. You can see the lead characters taking bits from each other as the story progresses. The dancing. I'm a huge fan of dance films and while this wasn't excellent, it hit all the right spots.
This drama didn't make any promises to be anything but a cliched romcom. And a cliched romcom it is. Sorry to everyone who's disappointed or annoyed but that's what happens when you project your expectations onto something for what it's not. (And yes, your opinion is valid, etc etc.)
I, for one, am still loving this, flaws and all. The ML sister and 2FL brother and badly written. But I can see why the writer wouldn't fully commit given the tone of the drama. So they just end up looking pitiful without enough vim to inspire the kind of hate the characters should.
That slap though. I haven't seen a makjang slap in a good while.
The answer to your question is beauty. He's a pretty man.
There doesn't need to be something more substantial. The writing just needs to convince viewers that it's enough. It's failing at that though (if my answer is indeed the right one).
