Today’s court case pissed me off. Was it also based on a real case, are laws and human rights are really such…
They didn't get her medical records. They made deductions based on the timing of her absences. Hence the way WYW phrased the question.

We like to think the West is some bastion of human rights. It's not. Yes, human rights organisations and labour unions would be all over it and probably get enough people to boycott the company but it doesn't mean a judge would rule in their favour. Most likely the company would chose to settle before things gets out of hand.

Why?
Not punishing father and son would be going against ministers way more powerful than he is. They'd just kill him the way they killed his father. At least he was able to make sure Poong got away with his life.

Lol. My longest comment ever. See what this drama is doing to me.

That kiss was hot as hell. Cute, yes but damn. My boy Jun Ho meeting WYW's first kiss with slightly open lips? Whoo.

Can't find any empathy for Tae Su. She's a bitch, plain and simple. Papa Bear has done nothing wrong. If making sure his genius daughter has the very best opportunity open to her means he has to not hold up his end of his bargain ("I'll make sure you never see us."), so be it.

Also, once you're part of a child coming into the world, all bets are off. That's why there are child support laws. She's lucky to have had 27 child-free years. She better suck it in and suck it up. Trying to emotionally blackmail the father into uprooting his child from everything she's ever known. Uh I'm so mad.

The case in ep 10 was the toughest by far. The clincher for me was from the transcript where it says that she tried to stop him and he got upset and wanted to cry and told her that it wasn't love. That's classic manipulation. Yes, her mother might have told her to say she was sexually assaulted to the police but that detail doesn't seem made up. He obviously approached her for her money, whatever his feelings became (I mean, he's done it before.) It follows that he'd put pressure on her to have sex.

The law is there to protect people who cannot protect themselves and it won't get it exactly right but on this one, I agree with the verdict. That's not to say the mother isn't sus and isn't contributing to her daughter's distress and self-harm. But then again doesn't becoming overprotective come with the territory sometimes? Urgh. It's hard to have a clear opinion based on what's shown in the drama tbh.

It's useful to remember that reality shows are edited for effect and reactions. And the guests are thrown into situations that the PDs think will elicit the most interest and "drama".

That said, I'm looking forward to the different pairings and how things ebb and flow before the show is over.

A perfect 10. The cute matching outfits. Attorney Jung being the best guy. WYW's face before running away. The…
Sad to see the Commander go to jail but it's only right. He did take the kids without parental consent. What's sad is that he'll be pegged as a loon instead of finding some capacity in which he can work with kids because he's obviously really good at relating with them and could be helpful with their education without necessarily going into a classroom.

A perfect 10.
The cute matching outfits.
Attorney Jung being the best guy.
WYW's face before running away.
The kids' joy.
WYW blocking Jun Ho from going to her right side.

Love. Love. Love. It's impossible for anyone's negative opinion about this show to make a difference to me.

Omg right, i will never get how people find this show “overrated”
There will always be people who, once a show is popular, automatically try to find all it's faults and build those faults up in their minds to slap "overrated" on it. For them popular = overrated. But then MDL is about respecting everyone's opinions, yes? (Personally, I think they're haters.)

Finally got round to watching this and uh so beautiful. Moreso for the simplicity of the story. All the actors were on point and way too cute. I didn't recognise a single BL trope. Who knew two men could fall in love and be in a relationship and communicate? And the way they called each other "Baby" was so adorable. Love love love.

And that was the best line of dialogue and acting in the series so far.

"But anyway let's gossip about Nava."
"Are you gossiping about Mr Nava?"

Was going to watch this drama despite its shortcomings but this bit of dialogue right here and the acting that went along with it ended me.

It really is funny how certain people are avoiding this show for the baseline reason of whether they think it…
It is CRAZY! And I'm not one to worry about ratings usually but I get the feeling a bunch of people rated it down for that very reason. The drama is so good. The acting, the subtext of the story. I'm going to make all my friends watch this because there's a lot to unpack here as relates to friendship.

Wish Yeewah slapped Ploy instead; I mean she was the instigator.
Lol. That's another way to look at it. (Completely forgot to feel sorry for Ploy given the fact we just found out she's being abused. It is something to consider.)

That's have been unfair. She didn't know for certain who the instigator was. Best to whoop the person you have a direct relationship with.
