Lee Chae Min deserve to be on "The top 5 lists of the Sexiest/Hottest actor's in South Korea". Every time travel related kdrama always defies logic and it's okay because some are mediocre and most are working very well while others failed miserably. This drama doesn't have strong main plot or character development but i'd say the emotional delivered especially by Lee Chae Min as the King so amazing, he deserve many awards including best couple because YoonA also done her part really well. This maybe a fantasy but the story was more indicate as a fairytales. If Kang Mok Ju has genuine feelings for the King, i'd pity her no matters if she's evil but man... she's already a pathetic b!tcH from the start till the end of her miserable journey. The historical set up was well done however the modern day set up especially when the ML appear infront of FL definitely amazing.
This drama is good. What I predict in the ep. 1 happened in ep. 8 which is a big surprise for me. Even though the main plot is not strong enough and kinda slow, I praise the mystery of murders where the biggest hidden plot hides behind a plot twist everyone waiting. Damn, the twist was well written, the reveal in ep. 7, definitely worth waiting. The superb performance by the main female lead adapted spectacularly with the crime genre itself. Also I judge kdrama by its poster, and I watched this one solely because the poster itself looks simple with huge meaning behind it. If this drama was made to 10 or12 or 16 episodes it might became a very disappointing attempt but the decision was clever to made only 8.
This drama exceed my expectation. it's one of the best cdrama i've seen. Ren Jia Lun as the male lead, his character suits perfectly with his calm and reasonable attitude... i think he's my fav. cdrama actor so far, his role in Forever and ever & One and Only, i highly praised those dramas. Song Zu Er as the female lead definitely a big surprise for me, after i watch PoB i find her to be a great actress but in here her performance so strong, very beautiful indeed. This drama really lived up to its title so perfectly, DEMON HUNTER ROMANCE it's a combination about a Demon hunter who has mysterious past and encounter a romance along the way, with well written romantic chemistry between the leads i'd say it's one of the best historical romance outthere. I find plotholes/weak plot in some sequences but the character development in most supporting characters definitely super well done, Like Sima Ling and Chu You has great chemistry with their hilarious screenplay together. Even though this drama was a fantasy, i find it more supernatural and i like it... it's rare to see a genuine supernatural historical drama with wonderful storytelling because in most drama fantasy always overshadow others, but in here it's different. The Mystery and the Horror/Suspense worth it.
The fact that this drama plot was a serious international political issues but in the end of the day it's mainly focus on the ML FL relationship struggle against all odds which is very interesting.
Also the news online was on fire about Ji Hyun getting backlash from Chinese netizens, it's totally unfair.
something about her eating problem like diet/nutrients weakness in her body... there's a short scene she explain to the fl. That's my view on her off screen incidents. But the way a group of uniform people looks like the cops took all her stuff in her room as if she got murder, it's not explain though, that's why i thought it directly connected to her collapse in public and died on the way or in hospital.
To the plot she's not important at all but to FL character development,, YES she's definitely an important character.
with this kind of synopsis, Yes! my boi kim ji hyun would be suit for the role so well, damn! portray as Hye Soo's husband definitely a great opportunity, she's one of the legendary actress in the kdrama world and she's still single!

If you watch drama with logic, then this drama is not for you. This drama is just about a fun and interesting journey of the FL with the help of a ML to solve the case that are closed about the evil-deeds of the entertainment industry along side a political people.
This drama so family friendly. But it was made specifically for 90s & 2000s drama fans. The plot is far from perfect or close to good, it's just mediocre but the characters so interesting. Everyone is corrupted and weak minded, it's just fun to watch. This is a story of a die hard fan who want to save his idol which is not a typically romance genre you'd expect . The leads are at matured age and their performance definitely worth it, even all the supporting characters since it's 25years later storyline, it need to be way ahead of its time. Also Jang Da A deserve a recognition after her performance as a FL young version, she's talented indeed. I love her! ❤️
This is one of my most hype kmovie of the year... Bo Hyun did his part so nicely, YoonA so cute and adorable in her energetic character, I love it! By the look of the trailer itself it's worth watching. Beautiful leads and beautiful concept. The plot still lacking and all the characters except the leads are just dull however the chemistry of the leads where he fell first and she fell harder but shy to show affection it's truly well written. The romance is there but act as a climax in the end of the movie, very clever. If this was kdrama it should be 6 to 8 episode max or else it won't work.
Man, everyone underestimate Prince Jesan, he's an idiot who side the Ming during the competition and now everyone just ignore him, he know more than anyone think... Sometimes I feel pity for Consort Kang because she just want liberty in her life however her evil personality so contagious, her beauty fades away. I already knew it this would happen to the ML, sooner or later he'll depend bit by bit to his own mother. And why the Transgender antagonist identity so secretive?? I'm suspicious about that, maybe he/she always close to ML but unaware, tbh ep. 6 just reveal a speculation facial female identity of the culprit, her facial kinda similar to ML 's wife... Maybe his wife is the main antagonist or she's not but I feel like she's connected somehow... My theory is that she approach the ML intentionally since she knew his mother was the infamous mantis, especially when he doesn't want kids, it kinda make sense. Or maybe I'm wrong. (***my guessing was a bit distorted but hear me out, I'm not mocking or criticising anyone or anything it just me sharing my silly thoughts 😅)
Damn! The decision on the fictional political plot of this drama was well written indeed... Very Hollywood vibe, the actions didn't disappoint at all. At first I thought how is it possible to develop romance of the ML FL when FL already married and grief for her husband?! Well I didn't know he would do that to her, her husband character development definitely pathetic. Now that's out of the way, the romance already blooming spectacularly 👏🏼🙌🏼. FL deserve it when she's in a chaotic state between political issues and family-in-law issues, she got nothing to lose. Also the ballistic missiles launch at the last scene in episode 3 was never shown again, or is it a scene cut from the future events.

However, Ep. 31-40 made me lose hope in this drama already, it's not a bad drama and still condider it good the fact that the writers have putting alot of time cooking complicated twist and turn which also kinda disturbing with a lot of disgusting characters development ngl. The fl is the main character, the mvp who's the titular character in the drama and the very foundation of this drama itself where ML as the main protagonist vs. the 2nd ml as the main antagonist, the two connected to the character arc of the FL. I'm not a fan of political conflict drama usually cdrama often made it even though most of the time works but this drama has one of The most complicated political conflict that's exhaust me to the bone. The one thing I praise was the ost of two ml having each of their own, it's a good track but I'd still praise highly of the 2nd ml ost, it's so well done.
