one of the things i read was about ming, the ml ex gf. why is everyone so crazy about her? and why do people think shes a dude? the ml's dad seems like a cold abusive parent, the ml looks terrified of him when he came home when they cc was singing. then when his dad told cc's parent his son wont do anything to cc, i feared for his life! i was thinking his dad will beat the living out of him if he dared to do something like that. and he ended up hitting him so hard he went deaf and has to wear a hearing aid at the end!. how did other people think its bcuz he is gay is abit meh to me. maybe some ppl are thirsty for that kind of movie so they think ming is a dude. imagine at the end his dad hit him only once and he went deaf in one ear, so like how many times has he hit him? u don't just go deaf from getting hit once...my take is he's hit him plenty times before so this final blow was it for his ear. but to each their own. i think ming is a girl but if others think ming is a dude thats ok too.(everyone deserves to love and be loved whether they're straight, gay, les, bi, green, pink, purple people) its not the focus of the story anyways. i just didnt understand why people only focused on ming instead of the whole story.

i LOVED this youth romance movie! it's a perfectly done; sweet romance between the leads and youthful energy with so many deep meanings. It shows the sweet innocence of the two leads. usually teenagers/young adults think they know everything but really we know nothing, but it isn't something we will realize until we go through it ourselves. growing up, we're all fed Disney romantic love stories but they are UNREALISTIC. They paint pretty pictures that young girls often look for then become extremely disappointed when they realize life isn't a fairytale. IRL there is no prince charming and life doesn't always have a happily ever after.
This movie is the REAL DEAL. i read some comments like some people didn't like it and that its a scam. which is ridiculous, its not a scam. unless you are looking for mushy and lustful unrealistic movies, then ya this aint it. the ml and fl's chemistry is amazing! i looked around to see if they have any other works together but theres only a short one. hopefully they will do a drama together. their acting was so great that the movie passed by so fast. Before i knew it the movie was over, leaving me wanting to watch it again. so rare to see such great acting among young actors. usually i dont like younger actors because they're just a pretty face but these two had me hooked! i was laughing and crying with them. i hope everyone will love this movie. now i understand why i kept reading that this movie was the best chinese youth movie.
