Yan Dan was imature in first arc and like a child thought that loving someone with pure heart was enough "love…
I understand both their sides but her choice is dependent on the fact that he erased her memory thinking he just wants her to forget everything so they can move on with their lives. It would be different if she knew everything that really happened and then she chose to live for herself. I suppose that will happen within the next few episodes so we just have to wait for it.
At first, it was her wanting to know how he felt and now that she knows he did love her, she's sad with him choosing the world over her. So this time she is choosing herself . Although, I am glad she is choosing herself, at least she's not as emotional and impulsive as before, which shows she is growing.
I think if we're watching this drama real time with just 2 eps a day and we barely have CP moments because, you…
I also enjoy the mortal arc very much. (Of course there's always that the scare of a rushed ending in the back of my mind though) but i try really hard not to worry about that so that i can enjoy their adventures. I really like the development between YD, TZ, and YM. YM became less needy of YD. In the beginning, it was like YD, YD, YD, but now he's given her more space and doesn't give that suffocating feeling . He's just a supportive friend while still having his one-sided crush and he doesn't try to pressure her or anything or that sort.
I love the bromance between him and TZ as well. Although I'm not sure is it because he thinks TZ is Marshall Huode or not, but for now at least he can see what kind of person TZ is. YM has bad feelings/misunderstandings towards YY because of what happened to YD in the heavenly realm so I think these interactions between them will help a lot when TZ become YY again.
I think one of reasons why the heavenly arc was so sad and miserable for YD and YY is because they're both at "different places in their lives" YY (10,000 years old) because a sovereign lord, his responsibilities, his sense of duty to the 6 realms, etc. YD was much younger (only 500 years old?), she was happy just to be with her sister and her play writing. She wouldn't have been able to understand YY and why he did what he did. The same for YY, he also didn't understand YD.
The side stories in the mortal arc gives them the "in the other person's shoes" perspective that they both needed so that when they regain their memories, they'll be able understand what happened in the past and they'll be able to move on. The side stories all have some kind of moral lesson that will help them later when they regain their memories in the last arc. So i really appreciate these stories. I don't think they're draggy or slow, but I do get anxious when I think about it being the end of part 1 and part 2 is supposedly only 19 episodes and no one wants a rushed ending of course.
I agree with that as well. Something/someone we want so much but sometimes itās not always possible to obtain, which is ok as long we we learn to accept and continue to go on. In youth there will always be regrets, thatās why this movie Was done so well, the messages about acceptance and growth in youth .
Wu Lei is so amazing and breathtaking in this drama. His friendship/ brotherhood with Neo is great. Itās been so long since I can see a drama where males isnāt fighting over a girl. Life isnāt just about boys/girls thereās much more to it. Itās a road to discovering yourself and your aspirations while keeping true to who you are. The great storyline with a light sweet romance on the side
The low MDL rating (due to some people who rated low cuz there is boy-girl romance) when this never was known…
This kind of drama is so refreshing. Thereās no drama like it nowadays itās just idol dramas with shallow stories. This one is true to life and deep, I guess kids watching canāt relate. The romance in here is so light and touching its not even the main story. I hope people will change their minds.
I dont understand why he kissed her if he didnt have any feelings for her, also the ending felt really rushed…
for me he did have feelings for her . but He still thought that he loved his ex gf and he was finally ready to let her go. then with cc confession im sure he was shocked as well. "this whole time i have feeling so sad and alone and all this time you were by my side. listening to me talk about my ex who doesn't want anything to do with me. listening to my stories of me and my ex, how i felt about ming is what you probably feel about me. how painful it was for u to have to hear me talk about ming nonstop when you liked me for 2 years and i knew nothing of your existence until now" thats what i was thinking that he was thinking lol and with the flood of emotions he kissed her, but he knew he was ready, so he didn't want to lie to her or give her false hope. he didnt say he didnt have feelings for her. he said i wish i could also like you back, then so much happened and then time skip. but we see her going to his concert. She is wearing a star necklace and ZYX's name means "star."
thank you! we all have different experiences in life so that would influence how we perceive and understand things as well. i heard this director likes making people think deep and cause discussions and so far he's done a good job lol
coming back to say that i still think about him bending down to kiss her and then saying āi wish i could also…
i think in that moment after she told him she liked him for 2 yrs, he knew what it felt like to like someone and not have them like you back, so at the moment he probably wanted to comfort her but he didnt want to lie to her. so thats why he said he wished he could like her too. he just told her that he will try to move on, with all the music and the lights, the flood of emotions, her confession, literally emotions overload. my take is he does like her deep down, because of all the things he did for her, but he has so much going on liking someone else is like the last on his long list. that is what being young is we don't know and understand our emotions which causes regrets for our future self. which is why the theme is to face the truth because whether someone likes us or not the future will still come. their kiss scene was so beautifully done! so emotional much better than a lot that ive scene.
Plus his father says my son will never touch her. Like he knows.
have u thought that maybe his dad is one of those abusive Chinese parents? when he came in the room while cc was singing, zyx was afraid of him, his whole self changed when the dad came in. imagine he hit zyx only one time and he went deaf. have u thought maybe that isnt the first time he has hit him? when i heard him say my son would not do anything to your daughter my first thought is, he meant to say my son wwill not do anything to your daughter because i was beat the crap out of him if he did and he knows it.
