Infuriating first few episodes. My blood pressure went up 10 points and I had to drop it before it started boiling. I survived 20 minutes of this nonsense and am giving it proudly 1/10 points

I prefer romance and this was more transactional relationship between the two of them. Nah... the female lead character was too calculating, aloof and pretty much cold b*tch which is precisely what others called her throughout the series

it is a 2.5 hr compilation of major scenes and based on that you get to see the most important parts of the plot sans dumb female characters thank God. If I were to rate it only based on this version - yea, maybe 7.5 or 7,75 given my own made-up parts to fill in the gaps. But I dropped it at ep 3 ha ha ha.

O I love Ning Ge!!!!! He is such a fun person and I enjoy watching him and his buddies (Fang Yi Lun in particular ha ha ha) - singing, acting, goofing around. I liked his rendition of PoB version of Wei Shao but it was FAAAAAAR from the original character and Ceasar Wu was so good embodying that smart as a whip, distrustful and entitled SOB per XXI century standards.

My version (unless I use VPN) is really bad and so if you type the PoB in the title it may not show up, so I go all the way to the bottom where there are tabs across the page (just above the final notes from the website makers) and one of them says Novels. That will give you a list of translated into English things. BTW if you want to read something really good, I recommend pretty much anything by Qian Shan Cha Ke and https://mydramanovel.com/deng-hua-xiao/ is my absolute favorite as a showcase of puny FL who does not ask for help, does not seduce, does not scheme, but in the end gets the revenge she wanted. If you read just the first chapter, I guarantee you will stay up until week morning hours for days.
