I am enjoying it wholly and completely, and I can understand her over exaggerations to everything. It reminds me of older romcom kdramas. I will say though, that plane scene was very set-up. Her slapping him is fine, but getting up when they ask for a doctor was a liiiiittle bit of a reach, even though she said she was familiar with medicine.

I'm happy she actually likes him and she was putting a front. And not just because I'm happy their interest is mutual, but because I really respect her making her stand in this new life she was given. Love isn't her priority (but it might be later haha). She also doesn't want to listen to that King's reincarnation (glad she caught on quick), and have a repeat of whatever traumatic experience she had with the prince.

That’s true, it would be a surprising to see someone a much different shade than you but this is a drama. So for them to put that there, with that intention, is unlikely. The idea of one guy's attempt at a rebellion being used to implicate the person trying to stop the rebellion is already such an interesting plot. A subplot like this is on the scale of a plot you usually see for a whole drama. A lot of shows recently have been character focused, and as much as I enjoyed them, they lacked in plot, nothing super intricate or entertaining. This show is doing it for me in that sense. I'm excited to see the whole plot unfold, considering we now see the nobody is truly black and white. Makes me worried for the male lead now haha...
