seems like naksu and ji buyeon both are alive has naksu's powers has been evolved does jin buyeon powers are with…
I don't think we will know the answer to Naksu/Jin Bu-yeon connection until the very last episode. From the very beginning, I have felt that JBY's mission was to destroy the ice stone. Perhaps if she is successful, JU and Naksu can live??? It's like "Tale of Two Cities"
"It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known." π₯π₯π₯ Unbearable for me but from all I read, it is classic Hong Sisters.
We can see that it will start from the very end, before the time jump since Park Jin is with his long hair.
I want flashback to scene where Park Jin gives up leadership of Songrim and Dang-gu must take over. It doesn't need to be 15 minutes - just a short moment of the seriousness of what that moment must have been. But, I won't be greedy - what I really want to watch is Dang-gu and Cho-yeon slowly finding their way back to each other. π₯°
This trailer is confusing the heck out of me. Jin Mu has way too much side dishes.Heβs waking up dead Naksu…
Dang-gu. . . My π
I think everyone forgot that Jin Mu is a MAJOR character who is trying to get his hands on the ice stone. Is he blackmailing Mama Jin? Offering her hope for Jin Bu-yeon? Whatever, I think he is using Mama to get ahold of the ice stone for himself.
FINALLY, Still-cuts of Cho Yeon and Dang-gu. Of ccourse, the title of the article is heartbreaking: "Love-Hate X Couple Yoo Inso-Arinβ₯, Visual Matures 3 Years Later"π’π’
But this little nugget sounds interesting: 'the two form a complex and delicate relationship." So. . . . . they still have some sort of relationship. And we all know they eventually get married. π₯°π₯°
I'm a minority opinion here on MDL, but tbh they are the only reason I am looking forward enough to watch AoS early (7:00 am for me) every Saturday and Sunday morning.
Off-topic: While everyone π's fictional characters Jang Uk and Naksu, I πππSon Heung-min, captain of Korea's soccer team. Due to the tenderness of recent injury, Son has to wear a mask that covers around half of his face. Even with his mask, Son ultimately led South Korea to the Round of 16 with a 2-1 Upset against Portugal on 2 December (from Wiki). Since the USA is out, I'm rooting for Korea. πππ
PS: hoping the ChoDang photos/narrative drop Monday am.
Age gap thing was a plot hole, they won't take it seriously since it doesn't use as a plot device. Yeah why 3…
I guess I have always simplified it to:
JBY and Ju born 20-21 years ago; Naksu was ~5 years old at the time when she was kidnapped. 10 year later - Naksu is 15/16, JBY is 10 (actress was 10 at time of filming) and she drowns/disappeaers. In the end, I think writers have re-written/ignored the original timeline I agree that your list is the way it was in the beginning and these things no longer matter.

The actress was around 17-18 when she filmed AoS; Yul actor was 15 or so. Clearly they were teens and not simply 3-4 years ago. if you put it all together, the teens met up around the time Jin Bu-yeon "drowned' - 10 years ago.
Btw, depending on how Naksu will get her body back, if she gets it only after 3 years does that mean her age will…
I read somewhere on twitter that the traditional Korean period for mourning is 3 years. it could explain that Jang uk is still officially mourning and, for that matter, Cho-yeon and Mama Jin. i have no idea if that's why writers chose 3 years but it seems like a stupidly long time.
It's called Light and Shadow, but so far all teasers show only darkness and shadows. Are they gonna keep that…
Totally agree - the preview in August was exciting - Uk and the (assumed) soul shifter; the festival; quick view of all the main characters, including jin Mu. i've been looking forward to it (although not in hysterics like some π€£π€£), but the three teasers don't provide me any reason to watch.
In June, Director park said: "βWhen Hong sisters were writing the script, we discussed so many interesting stories about DIFFERENT families, characters and their development. Unfortunately, I thought 20 episodes would not be enough to really show the strengths of the scriptwriters who create very entertaining and COMICAL stories. . . . . The scriptwriters are currently working on part two as well. Hopefully, we will have more time to EXPLORE EACH INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER in detail,β Park added. [CAPS my emphasis].
I don't think it's misirection. I think marketing/PR office decided to go all in on the heavy romance because - as the old adage goes - sex sells.
I think Jin Mu will probably use Yulβs uncle as well. Perhaps try to entice him to control Songrim as Songrim…
On this one point - You and I absolutely agree (although I say Ep. 26, not 23) but the journey is half the joy. I can't wait for them even though they will probably be short-changed as they were in Part 1.
Is Jin Mu creating "new" soul shifters? My impression is that there are no more Soul Ejectors available (but I might be wrong - it was very confusing). If fans like you and me are confused about where this is heading then that speaks volumes about Hong Sisters changing the ice stone/Hwansu rules as they wish.
Thank goodness ππ for Cho-yeon and Dang-gu. They will have a happy ending and that's all I need to watch Part 2. π
"Young Lady Jin - it's been three years." Oh, my π is breaking - thank goodness I know they get married at some point.

I will focus on the lovely ChoDang.

I also like Yul but can't allow myself to invest in his character - I fear for him above all others. Hope I am wrong.
