TvN's preview for tomorrow. I've Anglicized/re-worded it a little to conform with the terms we use here on MDL so my re-wording might not be 100% correct. I'm not going to tag spoiler since it's published for all to see but if you hate anything that discusses Ep. 10, don't read further.
I think that first sentence will be a prelude to the end of Ep. 9 (in other words, once again, we will go backwards in time to get to end of ep. 9. 😀) Be happy.
----------------------------------------------------------- Ep. 10 preview from tvN:
Jang Uk and Jin Bu-yeon have a wedding ceremony and become a real couple. Meanwhile, Jin Mu, who is reunited [?] in Seo Yoon-o’s body, takes the fire bird ouf of Jinyowon and prepares to wake it up. Just as Seo Gyeong and Jin Seol-ran prevented the tribulation a long time ago, Jang Uk and Jin Bu-yeon must protect Daeho.
so last week everyone was right that the crown prince is furious with Jin mu because he got rid of his turtle…
Jin Bu-yeon (original JBY) surviving works for me - but I would be surprised if it happens because once her mission is complete (saving Daeho), she needs to reunite with Seo Gyeong.
I seriously hate the Unanimous Assembly! A bunch of greedy, spineless oldies who haven't helped in all the fighting!…
I always thought the Unanimous Assembly meant - the votes had to be Unanimous??? And Jinyowon had the plaque to veto any decision? Did I miss something. . . . or another stupit plot hole?
No I didn’t have the same anticlimactic feelings during Part 1. Others did but I did not. I also don’t care…
I hate sad endings (but I don't care about the main couple, so I'm good so far), but the plot needs to make sense - and Hong Sisters are awful at writing intricate/complex plots. It's like a well-written mystery novel - can the reader go back and re-read certain parts and say - "ah, yes - that clue WAS there all along." Hong Sisters throw out clues and then completely reverse course later on.
It’s very very very clear to me now that Part 2 has suffered massively from editing it down. The actors said…
Lots of speculation that if they do a blu-ray, there will be more content, but unless it includes all of the Dang-gu and Cho-yeon scenes they cut, I'm not going to consider it.
In-soo filmed for an entire day with children at the lantern festival and they cut all of it out. 😥
There is a different/new second director for part 2, although the main director is still Park Joon Hwa. This second…
The 2nd director is usually the one "on location" while other actors are in studio. I don't recall if it was Oh Na-ra or Park Eun Hye, but one of them said that there were a significant number of cast members that they never worked with or interacted with in Part 2 filming.
They can 😊 they can choose to keep Seol Ran also and Dangu and Yul and Cho Yeon 🤔
I'm worried about Yul - he wasn't standing in front of those coffins. However, HMH said they re-arranged his final filming schedule so that he could attend Montcler 75 (I think that was the name) in Italy, so perhaps in Ep. 10 he disappears to Seo Fortress.
Well I shouldn't get mad.I should have known the so called BIG fight ended in a matter of minutes, that this isn't…
I began to collect (bookmark) BTS photos of my favorite characters several months ago and it's been obvious to me (just looking at costumes, etc) that major scenes were omitted - especially my favorites, Dang-gu and Cho-yeon.
"Jang Wook and Jin Bu Yeon get to know each other’s existence and spend some time together. Each of them must do their own thing to stop Jin Mu’s plot to beat (conquer?) Jinyowon and bring out the fire bird. Meanwhile, Seo Yul learns the truth that three years ago, Naksu was hit by Jin Mu’s bells. Se-ja also makes an important choice. .. . "
Jin Bu-yeon's "thing"??? Bring the plaque back to Mama and save Jinyowon.
Jang Uk's "thing"?? - Go to Cheonbugwan and stop Jin Mu from getting the fire bird.
I'm shocked they would reveal this as their pre-release tbh. Double agent CP should be kept hidden (aside from…
The battle at Cheobugwan isn't the finale/end of story, but I'm assuming it is one of the major pivot points. The other will be - what is Jin Bu-yeon's and what does she want.
Ep. 10 will be high anxiety for 1st half, and then. . . . .all will be explained, and happy/satisfying end. My one major fear is Park Jin - He has never been evil; If Hong Sisters kill him, then my rating will reflect my fury.
Holy s**t - stuff going down at Cheonbugwon in the Episode 9 pre-release. CP, Jin Mu, Park Jin, Jang Uk, Yul and crew. . . . This is what I've been waiting for. 😀
Rough translation by anntifan - she breaks it down into several clips.
I officially ended my theorist era now I just wait for anything for my OTP that the writers are gonna give me.…
I don't believe there is any way the "daisy scene" foreshadows a tragic ending. There might be a special twist, but it won't be tragic. Although I admit - I'm not invested in the OTP so I am able to enjoy the overall story w/out stressing myself out too much.
Except I want that ChoDang wedding and I want it ON SCREEN!😀
Question: In season 1 episode (8/9?) Gil ju performs AOS with soul ejector to shift his body but wouldn't get…
1. My theory (since last summer): Jang Uk has the energy of the Kings Star. That special energy is required to "deal with the chaos of the ice stone." She saved him because he is the one - either by destroying or protecting the ice stone - who can bring stability and peace to Daeho. Her birth was the beginning of the chaos and she is determined to bring an end to the chaos. There is zero evidence that Jin Bu-yeon every knew Jang Uk (as a child) or has any special feelings for him. My girl is on a mission to save Daeho - the "world" (a word that his used frequently in AoS) and she's going to do whatever is required (I think she will die).
2. Iirc, because Gil-ju was injured, his body became unstable and that's why he began to petrify. In reality, it was a plot device to inform/educate Mu-deok and Jang Uk about the existence of the ice stone in the Palace and how it could save a soul shifter. It progressed the narrative.
