I became confused because all the flashbacks, so began to put this timeline together a few days ago. Anyone who wants to help fill in dates, PLEASE feel free to comment w/out mentioning major spoilers. (I consider timelines to be non-spoiler). To be updated as more information is revealed.

I have tried to locate information on how old OHB and GTS are – have assumed based on this history that they are both ~28 or 29 years old? [I will not attempt to configure for Korean method for age] Or are they older? I also researched “academic year” for Korea – standard is March start date (whereas USA is September).

SHOOTING STARS TIMELINE FOR OHB AND GTS
2011 - OHB and GTS first meet in theater before she attends college; (GTS enrolls in University?) [In USA, if someone is in the “class of 2011” that is the year they graduate. Is it different in Korea? This is causing major confusion for me!!]
2012 – OHB enrolled at Haesung University
2012-2016 (I believe, 2012?) – participated in the infamous “heart” photoshoot.

2016 – GTS and OHB Graduate from University together; both (?) begin association with Starforce
●As a “newbie”, OHB prepared the “eunuch” press release for the “Archeologist” movie; filming to begin in November of that year
●As a result, the Archeologist movie got over 10M views

2016 – Eun Si-woo (A top star, who represented the 90s and received national love and is called the legendary actress) married Pierre Morelle, (Director) from France
2019 – (“3 years ago”) Dating rumor with Yeo Ha-jin was confirmed.
2020 – March 15th - Friend Luca (age 28) dies
2020/21 – GTS leaves for Africa
2021/22 – GTS Returns from Africa; Eun Si-woo divorces husband and returns to Korea

2022 - February 10 – Lee Yoon Woo’s (older Luca) birthday

Which actor played the Evil Spirit that first appeared in the mirror and then stepped out of the mirror in "physical" form? At first glance, I thought it was Jung Joon Ho (Advisor Choi Gum) but doesn't make sense. The character/actor lists for this show are very vague across the internet.

Just going to add here that I loved Lee Yong Ryeol (young cop) singing to - and apparently impressing - our young little fortuneteller Cheon Ye-ji. I hope their story becomes larger/relevant in next episodes.

Before today's episode, I assumed - like you - that he was simply exhausted from all day filming. Plus he has been working out and is in far better shape than his manager. But today - the fever, and the housekeeper's VENEMOUS look (haha, that was the word that popped into my head) made me leap to the poison theory. But we will see, lol.

The music is "chopsticks" whenever he acts childish - so funny.

I love the young couple almost as much as the Main Couple, but they don't appear to have any backstory that is particularly relevant to the show. I was hoping they would show him taking her home and that there might be a bit more character development - instead, we are to believe that it was love at first sight on his behalf. I hope there is more to his story to explain why he was immediately smitten.

I always say - look to the Classic Stories for the two common love story plots.

1. Slow Burn: Elizabeth and Darcy (Pride and Prejudice) is example of the slow burn, antagonists in beginning and slow journey to final.
2. Boy meets girl/boy loses girl/boy finds girl again: Beatrice and Benedick (Much Ado about Nothing) and, arguably but not as happily, Romeo and Juliet.

I prefer the slow burn because it provides a continuing story arc. From the few K/dramas I have watched, if the couple is "official" by Ep 8 or 9, then it will be Example No. 2 - because something stupid will happen to split them up before reconciliation in the last 10 minutes of the series.

What time does it air (in Korea)? I might try to do this next week since the Viki Eng. sub is at least 12 hours behind.

We now know she is a shady lady, so I think she is poisoning him. She made a big deal about cooking with more salt - so no one suspects foul play. He has been fatigued for days (weeks?), sleeping whenever he has the opportunity, has a low grade fever. His stress level was off the charts - a total surprise to OHB.

Well, who knew (I did not) - that our young cop actor (Kim Hee Jae) could sing. I love main couple and second couple - enjoying the ride.

LOL - I guess I wasn't clear enough. I didn't do the translation. I copied this "English" version directly from the TVN site. This is their "English" version associated with the video preview at end of Ep. 7.

The "supernatural" power may be the seven (?) channels between heaven and earth. Apparently it is something that the Evil Spirit wishes to devour/absorb but it's not clear why.

I think he knew that was her desk (it appears to be the "newbie" desk).

Episode 8 "English" preview from TVN (I will attempt to interpret but would appreciate any other thoughts):

One star who received a dash from two men. It’s not as good as it seems. [OHB confused by TWO confessions?]
Tae-sung is upset by a star who has unexpectedly reacted to his confession. Reflect on the past days that plagued han star.
Tae-sung meets his old girlfriend near the filming site stars, and realizes that he has done something that he could not do to han star in the past.! [I think this means that GTS will meet Yeo Ja-jin and realizes he hurt OHB in the past?]
Taehyung falling in shock and guilt. . .another person who appears before such a taehyung..! {Probably refers to Eun Si-woo at his door?]

I've begun to put together a history/timeline (not finished yet) but my initial take is:

1. They were "frenemies" in college; he was rich and popular. After watching Ep 7 epilogue, it appears that they first met when in highschool (? - perhaps different highschools since he was wealthy?). After that, he protected her, but she never knew.
2. About the time they graduated from college and both became associated with Starforce, Eun Si-woo (his mom?) married and left for France. Already going through abandonment issues, this was ultimate abandonment.
3. OHB becomes the one stable relationship in GTS' life. Even after the "eunuch" debacle, GTS wants OHB to remain in his life - officially so that he can torment her, but subconsciously to keep her at his side.
4. Although he claimed he was going to torment her, he did not (based on Ep. 6 epilogue) - he teased her and appeared fond of her, and she thought they were growing closer until the "date" story.
5. At that point, she builds a big steel wall around her heart , becomes the ultimate professional and keeps him at arms length (emotionally). We don't have any insight on his feelings during this time period (~5 years) but my take is that as long as they shared a connection, he felt secure.

Perhaps we will get more flashbacks for that 5-year period that will help clarify what happened (they clearly lost a close friend during that time) and how both of them arrived where we see them today.

I don't believe the subbed version is released yet - it usually takes several hours for the Viki translators to accomplish their task.

I like the 2nd couple very much.

I think we will discover that Lee Yong Ryeol (the young cop) is part shaman or shaman in training. I saw a video clip that hinted at it (not going to say more cause I don't want to use spoiler tag). That's why he was immediately smitten with Cheon Yeji (the granddaughter). I think they will help destroy the Full Moon Killer/Evil Spirit.

Thanks for clarification. I thought sure the female character was Jin Yoo-na. I don't even recall that scene from Ep. 6, but just now read a description that HaJin is the girl that GTS supposedly dated in the past.

She says "Did you forget we are officially a couple" and that sure looks like the Lawyer to me. Am I wrong?

Both came from wealthy backgrounds and neither needs to work.

Admittedly, I have never cared for the Lawyer character - if he doesn't need to work, he could be doing volunteer legal services for a charity!

While searching YouTube for a different video, I came across this one labeled "Trailer #7" from several weeks ago. We have watched most of the scenes, but a couple have not yet aired and I'm wondering if I'm seeing correctly at the .43 mark. Is it Yoonaa and. . . . ? (see my further thoughts below in spoiler tag.
