I was so excited for this but it was so illogical and meh. I think I have seen so many Kdramas that I don't like…
And yet. . . . . Koreans loved it, (as did I) Go figure. 😊

I'm halfway through episode two, and I'm disappointed in the ML. Finding out your wife is dying with only 3 months…
The last scene in Episode 2 is absolutely epic and you will not be disappointed in the ML.

yes
The ending shows that they lived a long (50+ years) and happy life together. I don't know why some people find that sad, but I think some viewers wanted it to simply end with a kiss or something.

It was never explained.
I think you are right. I just re-watched what she said when they were in the cemetery:

hAE-IN: "I like how there is a cemetery in the middle of a park. You're not buried in a mountain or scattered at sea. You're resting NEAR YOUR HOME."

So, perhaps they did answer it for us - without hitting us over the head with an announcement over the loud speaker. 😊

I definitely noticed how they glossed over her faked identity and relationship with Eun Seong, which had been…
I agree that quite a bit was missing at the end. I remember reading that when they filmed Alchemy of Souls Part 2, that about 1/3 of the scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

A lot of small pieces of information were provided but it was up to the viewer to connect the dots - for instance, how did Hyun-woo know about Eun-seong's laptop? It had to be Hae-in, but we never got to see that conversation of them working together. 😥

They did, however, finally answe how the pink mp3 player showed up in Hyun-woos room.

Dropped, couldn't even finish the first episode. It seems like they try very hard to make a weak efeminate man…
Yeah weak. . . . just like Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I fast-forwarded through that part because I was afraid she might harm someone/kill someone and actually break…
well, dang - I predicted she (and Eun seong) would die, so I have to take the prediction hit, but life in prison is almost nearly as good for the Mad Bitch. 😊 Thanks for answering.

I try to avoid spoilers on current on-going dramas (for instance, I get up REALLY early Saturday/Sunday to watch a drama releasing on Netflix so that I can watch w/out any preconceptions) , but I don't mind them on dramas that aired long ago because I try to manage the limited time I have for watching entertainment. I know nothing about the webtoon, so the drama will stand on its own. Would love spoilers and perhaps messaging me might be the best way. As I said, time travel is not favorite genre, but i DO love me the corporate/chaebol stuff. Thanks for the offer.

How long were DH and Grace in jail? A couple years? DH & SC baby was riding a tricycle when she got out of jail.
I wish they had provided a time-line as they did previously on many occasions. So. . . .my totally unscientific analysis says. . .1 year. The trials were in winter and it appears they were released in the winter. Probably due to the filming schedule (which ended in February (???) 2024). Baby was identified as "one year old" in June 2023 and trial sixish months later? so. . . riding a tricycle . . .. . .eh, looking at family photos, etc. etc I don't think it matters. Da Hye and Grace helped bring the villains down, were NOT given a tropey "all is forgiven" plot, they served their time, their last scenes were positive and happy. I never understand how kdramas seem to assume that a spouse/child can never, ever visit the other spouse while they are in prison but cannot worry about minor/tiny details when most of the drama did a fantastic job of continuity.

I hope you are enjoying this drama @mjcsfla1😊

why does that car ride of hyun woo and his lawyer friend remind me of Saeroyi from itaewon class when he was on…
Attorney Yang-gi, just one of many secondary characters that represented different virtues - in his case, loyalty, fellowship, humor, intelligence and courage.

I kinda thought she actually died in that last moment so thank you for telling me that she was still alive and will live a very miserable existence in prison. I'm going to re-watch in slow motion. 🤣

What are some of yall on? I thought the ending was perfect! It just shows that death is inevitable and they still…
He kept his promise to her (to be by her side forever); she kept her promise to him (to be there and greet him when it was his time) THE WINTER OF HIS LIFE IF YOU ALL CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE SYMBOLISM!

I actually liked the ending. I can't remember the exact scene or episode, but hae in tought she saw an old man…
And, on top of that, she was in heaven - waiting for him. Just like she promised.

He was by her side to the end - just like HE promised.

For the life of me, I do not understand why people are upset. But - we all have our separate filters in how we view a story.

I want to start watching, can someone tell me if it's happy or sad ending?
Opinions vary, but I consider it the happiest of all possible happy endings and definitely, positively NOT a sad ending.

I never watched Reborn Rich because I'm not a fan of time travel/revenge stories (I barely made it through Please Marry My Husband). But perhaps I should take a look at the reviews here on mdl and consider it. I do believe the older actor received a Baeksang award, correct? (best actor)

Ummm, no - Reborn Rich was higher in terms of ratings (audience share). But in terms of total viewers, I guess QoT is 2nd????

There is a difference, but I don't understand it. And I wonder if the total viewership #'s include all of the repeats during the week?

Perhaps PrinceHenry30 knows??😊

In terms of viewership in millions, QOT is the second highest viewed cable drama of all time with 6.399 million…
Sky Castle had 20 episodes - so that might explain the higher viewership numbers.
