Was this a huge plot hole or did I not get something? More details in the comments under a spoiler tag.
So the emperor was a prince and needed that Lu guy to back him up to become an emperor - or later it seems like back him up as an emperor but at some point I think he said it like the first one. Anyway in exchange he has to marry Lu's daughter as the empress, so his current wife needs to die. And she dies, either kills herself or the emperor kills her, to fulfill the big plan. But then he, who is now the emperor, does not marry Lu's daughter and the now dead wife has instead lured the little sister she envies into the trap. Why? Yes, she is the soft spot of his brother, but wasn't this whole thing about needing Lu? Or was it that if he marries the little sister, he does not need Lu anymore, and this was the wish of the dead wife also for some reason? Maybe for her son's sake?
really good story and ML is perfect, good performance for everyone and Decorations were very good That I didn't…
Are you sure you watched all the episodes? In the end of ep 17 the ML died. Then in ep 18 FL killed both herself and the emperor. Eps 19 and 20 showed scenes from their past, everything in those two eps happened before the events in the first episode.
I'm surprised to see the comment section so negative. I have seen around 150 Chinese dramas and this one is one of my favorites. I highly recommend this! I have read some parts of the novel also, and while I like the way they portrayed the FL in the drama more, maybe reading about the ML and his thoughts might make it easier for some viewers to understand his character and what's going on behind his solemn face.
My home city as well. I actually saw them filming one scene and saw Wu Lei in Tripla mall center face to face.…
Very cool! I knew they were filming some Chinese drama here, as I saw them looking for extras, but I didn't anything or know it was going to be such big one with Wu Lei and everything. Now I regret I didn't try to find out some location and go have a look :D
The drama is filmed in 3 countries and 11 cities. I think we will see lots of Europe π
Cool! The trailer I saw had mostly (if not only) Helsinki, so I guess some important parts of the plot happen here. Canβt wait to see the whole drama!
This was filmed in my home city Helsinki, Finland. It's so weird watching the trailer of a cdrama where the actors travel in Finnish subways and trains etc.
Nice drama. Not my favorite, but I've been skipping/fast forwarding/putting on hold a lot of dramas lately, and this one I watched every second of in a couple of days. Definitely worth watching!
I'm glad you do that, I really like Viki's subs because they explain cultural references etc. I have done some translation to Viki also (from Chinese to Finnish) but I didn't know there were professional translators too and someone edits them. I thought all translations are made from scratch by volunteers. But this way it's probably much faster.
