Note: This review is not a good one just because I'm a fan of the two leads. So. Heartstrings/Festival/You've Fallen For Me. There are so many names for this drama. When I first saw that Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa would be acting together again, I was over the moon. I loved them both in You're Beautiful and had honestly been praying to see them together again, preferably with Yong Hwa as the male lead rather than the secondary male. I got my wish! Aside from the utterly fangirling moments I had, I was very excited about the story. Turns out I had every reason to be. Heartstrings is a very sweet, comedic and romantic drama that does quite literally tug at your heartstrings. Many times throughout the fifteen episodes, I found myself crying over an injustice done, at some times hating a character's wickedness, being annoyed by others, and utterly captivated by the adorableness of Kang Min Hyuk's character. Watching Jung Yong Hwa do a 180 when it came to his character in You're Beautiful and his character in Heartstrings was fascinating for me, and he did beautifully. I hope to see him act more in the future. The music and acting complement each other very well. They got a stellar cast with acting chops that really made the drama shine. I definitely recommend watching Heartstrings.
