I actually liked it a lot! The story was interesting. Also, since it was a game, adding effects during fighting scenes, adding name tags, and listing the characters abilities made it feel more like a game which I really liked.
For the ending, it feels like open ended, and it could continue and it looked like the game was starting to upload again. If they continue it, I would like to see Cheng Da Lei and Su Ying together.
The story wasn't perfect, like it too draggy at times, but I enjoyed it on the whole :)
Sam and Mon were cute and adorable together. I did enjoy them together but at the same time, I did not like them that much together. I'm contradicting myself, right?
At first, I thought that they do not have that much of chemistry together. But they do have chemistry and do go out of their way to show it. Which is why I get why they put them together.
I think the problem is more of the actress playing Mon. I do not like her acting at all. She feels fake and awkward. At first you would not notice, especially since her character is nice, kind, etc. However, as the story got along you realize that she is the problem. Like her crying scenes were hopeless and her face expressions were fake and sometimes it did not match.
On the other hand, the actress playing Sam is good. Her expressions her good and on point. And this is considering Sam's character was the least likeable. But when she has her poker face on and is actually dying inside, her hidden smiles towards Mon, her bluntness, being shy, etc. She really is a good actress.
I do like this drama overall though. It's not the best I have ever watched. But considering this is the one of the first full-length Asian GL drama made, this is already a huge step and a good drama compared to when BL dramas started in the first place.
I love that they are taking more steps to show more LGBTIQ+ representatives and not just show BL or gay dramas. Don't get me wrong, I love BL dramas. But we need to see more.
Like I look forward to the day when they put real transgenders as main characters especially in Asian dramas. They are always supporting characters and even when they are main characters, they are played by actors who aren't real transgenders. At least according to my knowledge and what I know so far. Maybe there are dramas like that I haven't discovered.
I can't even find it raw hahaha....I don't think it is something someone will add eng sub to unless it become…
It's a shame, I hope someone subs it. I rarely see Gypsy as the female lead, as she is usually in the supporting role or the second female lead and I wanted to watch it.
I enjoyed the movie as well ^_^ I think it's mostly the same as the drama. But since I watched the drama some time ago, I don't know if there were some changes between the drama and the movie, but the gist of it is the same.
Anyway, the movie is good if you wanted to rewatch the drama, but like you didn't want to and now you have a reason to do so as there is the movie :P
For a BL Korean drama, this is still my favourite story and couple.
The story is nothing special, but I enjoyed it and it was nice to watch. I liked seeing the journalist aspects and what they do to gets scoops for their articles.
For the leads, their chemistry was not the best ever, but it was not bad and they were cute together :)
It's a fast watch that you can finish in a day. Definitely recommend to watch it ^_^
