I enjoyed the movie as well ^_^ I think it's mostly the same as the drama. But since I watched the drama some time ago, I don't know if there were some changes between the drama and the movie, but the gist of it is the same.
Anyway, the movie is good if you wanted to rewatch the drama, but like you didn't want to and now you have a reason to do so as there is the movie :P
For a BL Korean drama, this is still my favourite story and couple.
The story is nothing special, but I enjoyed it and it was nice to watch. I liked seeing the journalist aspects and what they do to gets scoops for their articles.
For the leads, their chemistry was not the best ever, but it was not bad and they were cute together :)
It's a fast watch that you can finish in a day. Definitely recommend to watch it ^_^
Honestly the story is not that good. Even as a manga it is still not good and I would not like to read it. However, as a story in a manga, it passes, but as a live-action it is corny, cringey, fake, awkward and awful.
Even so, the drama is not that bad. You have to take it as it is and not seriously. Also, lose common sense on the way as well lol. I see it as a guilty pleasure. So if you are curious about it as I was, just watch it.
Also, I liked the actors. Their acting was not that bad and their characters were not bad. Yuri is pretty, is tough and has her strong points while Oya is handsome, charismatic, is gentle and scary and is sexy. That eyebrow captivates you. And the tattoo does make him sexier.
However, even though the leads were not bad as individuals, together I did not feel any chemistry between them at all. I could not believe that they loved each other.
Their kiss scenes and their bed scenes were good. But I could not feel any sexual tension between them, feel them attracted to each other or obsessed with each other as they were saying through out the drama. They did look stiff and awkward at times.
Anyway, I did not have high expectations, as usually Japanese dramas rarely have good romance between the leads. But it's not bad overall. Watch it if you are curious and do not know what to watch. It's a fast watch.
The story has interesting moments, but overall the drama is not that good and kind of ridiculous.
The acting is at times terrible and some actors felt fake. The filming was terrible with mikes showing and the shadow of the crew appearing. The CGI of the tails of the merman was fake.
Honestly overall it wasn't bad. The story was a bit slow, and we see repetition from Until We Meet Again, but I liked Team and Win together.
They were cute and adorable <3 Their chemistry, their sexual tension and their kiss scenes were good. They me squeal and smile like an idiot lol ;P The actors had really done a good job. For me, it really felt real.
My favourite scene was when Team was swimming alone at the pool without permission and he was going to drown, and Win saved him. I cried at that scene. I can't explain it, but it was good.
After waiting 4 years, I can say I was not that disappointed. Maybe because I did not have high hopes as usually Thai drama sequels are not that good. So, I did not have high hopes for the story, but I really wanted to watch Team and Win together after I watched Until We Meet Again, so I got what I wanted.
I recommend watching this drama for Team and Win <3
Haven’t watched yet but chanced upon this…is there really gonna have Season 2? Bcoz seeing it isn’t written…
I don't know if there is a 2nd season, but how the story ended it does end as a cliff hanger especially the female lead is given a difficult mission.
No one dies yet, but it does have a kind of bad feeling. However, nothing happens yet, it's like you assume what will happen. The ending is quite straightforward, no open ending.
However, I do recommend this drama. The story is quite interesting, the leads are really cute together and they have lots of kiss scenes considering this is a short drama. The mission plot is quite interesting as well and you will finish it in 3 hrs maximum.
Is the ending happy for main leads or sad? Bcos seeing you mentioned their 4th lifetime is ‘left trapped fixing…
I feel like I'm going to spoilt something but since you asked I'll tell you.
I think it depends on how you see it. Technically at the end they are together, but for me it did not feel satifiying on how it ended for them after all the things they went through in the drama.
For sweetness level, for the leads and for me, it's a 7. As I mentioned I prefered the 2nd leads story and their chemistry so I'll give theirs a 9.
Hope this helps and this is my opinion, so your view can be different.
However, I do recommend watching this drama if you are tempted to watch it. The story is good and interesting especially with the 4 lifetimes.
They dragged it to 4 episodes where it could have been 1 or 2 episodes and some scenes felt long so I fast forwarded them. However, it was still cute and I enjoyed the wedding scene. The kiss scenes were great as always <3
Honestly, I feel like this drama was either a fanservice or a preparation for Naughty Babe and The Next Prince. Looking forward to watching these dramas!
The story wasn't perfect, and it did feel draggy at one point, but I really enjoyed it :)
For me the story was divided into 2 parts. The first part was about Ryu Soo Yeol and ironically, he was corrupt even though he was the police and leader in the anti-corruption team. Here we see how K, his alter ego / his other personality helps him get on in the right part. This part was crazy and hilarious.
Seeing K beating Ryu Soo Yeol was hilarious. I loved seeing Ryu Soo Yeol and K together, their bromance and chemistry was awesome :D
The second part, which I mostly liked, started to focus on Ryu Soo Yeol, his past and how K came to be. Although the introduction of a new character, Shin Joo Hyuk, a therapist immediately made me suspect that he will be linked to Ryu Soo Yeol's past and would be the final villain and I was right.
Shin Joo Hyuk used young people who he met at the shelter and made them commit murder. The interesting part is that he introduced these young people to each other and then convinced them to kill each other's person who they wanted dead.
Then they created an alibi and since the police would not know that these young people actually know each other, they both would get free since they would not be the one who killed the person, they wanted dead. This part was original.
Btw, the side plot of the drugs was interesting to see as well.
Anyway, the second part was crazier, and I loved seeing Ryu Soo Yeol and K work together and more in sync. This part got darker, but it still had hilarious moments.
Anyway, happy ending to all and all the villains got what they deserved.
It was sad to see that K left for good. I kind of wanted him to be there next to Ryu Soo Yeol till the end. Though Ryu Soo Yeol's character seemed to have merged with K or he made a tribute to K since he used K's signature flying kick now towards the corrupt police commissioner. It was really hilarious xD
Honestly, this drama wasn't perfect. At one point it felt draggy, but I loved it overall. Great cast, great characters, good teamwork, great fighting scenes, great production, great music, and the acting was awesome :)
The story was beautiful, and it was interesting. I loved watching the martial arts scenes and the magic. The reincarnation parts were interesting, and I enjoyed each one. My favourite was the 3rd lifetime and the female lead's character was Feng Chenyue. I loved this character the most.
For the couples, I loved both main and second leads.
However, for the main leads, their story was painful and sad. The 1st lifetime was the saddest ever. It was pure torture to watch them marry other people. For the ending I'm glad they got to be together, but it still feels sad.
Like yes, they got to be together, but they were like left trapped fixing the demon net or whatever it was called. It was torture watching them get separated in 3 lifetimes and the 4th one got ruined as well. Ok, let's be positive and say that they got to be together finally after 4 lifetimes.
Anyway, my favourite couple was the 2nd leads. Their story was interesting. They were cursed and got separated. However, they met each other again, the curse was lifted with a bloody kiss and dying for each other and got together. At least that was on a happy note.
Overall, I enjoyed this drama. I thought I would not like it, or the story would get draggy. But since the story was divided into the 4 lifetimes of the female lead, the story was interesting with new characters each time.
And like I would look forward to how the female lead's character would be, like how her new life would be, her friends, her family, like how Yuchi would approach her, etc. That was something I enjoyed.
PS: This is how the lifetimes of the female lead were divided: 1st life = Liu Ying = episode 1 till episode 10 2nd life = Yuan Ayu = till episode 17 3rd life = Feng Chenyue = half of episode 17 till episode 29 4th life = Gu Qingyan = till episode 36
I just started episode 10 so I still need to watch the final episode to see how things play out but I have a different…
I love your viewpoint as well. I enjoyed reading it :)
I excluded that if Shion's confession was accepted that makes it another world. It makes sense that is World A since it's the original one. Soma would have accepted her confession since he was interested in Shion in the first place.
However, since the curse got in the way it opens up to another World and that is B.
Your viewpoint is better and much organised than mine. That is the beauty of sharing our opinions and seeing different persepctives ^_^
Anyway, the movie is good if you wanted to rewatch the drama, but like you didn't want to and now you have a reason to do so as there is the movie :P

For the ending. It is sad and left unfinished.
They were cute and adorable <3 Their chemistry, their sexual tension and their kiss scenes were good. They me squeal and smile like an idiot lol ;P The actors had really done a good job. For me, it really felt real.
