currently watching and on ep 15.......

If I compare it to Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat, it's not as amazing as Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. I loved Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat more.

However, this lakorn is interesting on its own as well. It was interesting that I learned more about some more historical events that happened in Thailand. Also, I think it was the first time I saw a lakorn with lots of battles in it.

Moreover, I don't remember the dates but it's definitely more recent than Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat as some Inwa soldiers or commanders and even some thai people from Adoyaha have guns. I also learned lots lof things like that 'Thai' means free, I did not know that. Also, like a game called Kallabot.

Also, I liked the plot that revolved around the palace and the nobles, ok it wasn't the best ever, but I liked it. You get to see the dark side of the palace, the nobles, their power, corruption, the things they do, their greed, how they look down on poor people, commoners and the slaves, people who are patriotic and those who aren't, how they live, their culture, their way of life, etc. Anyway, it's the usual around historical dramas, especially when the palace in involved.

Also, I loved the main leads, they are cute together <3 Also, their interactions and how they tease each other is so adorable <3 The downside is that we barely see any romance, even up till now they are not officially together yet. But they definitely love each other. However, the point of this drama is not the romance but not the historical events that happened to Thailand in the past.

Moreover, I liked the parts of the main lead disguised as an Eunuch. It was the first time I saw the focus on Eunuchs in the palace, the work they do, etc and in this case they were foreigners, they were Turkish. It was different than usual, so for me it was interesting. I never saw a historical drama like this lakorn. As like in Korean and Chinese historical dramas, the Eunuchs are left in the background and were never foreigners.

For me, this lakorn isn't the best ever. Many times I put this lakorn on a short hold, as sometimes it annoyed me or many things were happening, people who did not deserve it died, etc and so I watched something else to take a break from it.

However, I still watched it all, with no fast forwarding, as I did not want to miss anything. But, it would have been better if it was shorter, there were many times in the story that were extra plots, especially in the palace parts. Also, it had many hilarious moments, sad and painful moments.

Anyway, I loved all the cast, they were all great actors. Also, I loved all the characters, they were important to the story :) And it took me some time to watch it, but I'm glad I did ^_^

Last 2 episodes left..........

EDIT: Finished!

The thai managed to take back their home in 7 months, that's really impressive. The new King is really good. I'm happy that they got their home back :)

Also, the main leads got together and got married :D Their wedding night was so hilarious :D And they are also so cute and adorable together ^_^

It is a sort of happy ending. It's sad that the thai people that were stolen away from their home and taken to another country, could not return back to their home. Also, the thai had to continue fighting for their country and continuous wars. However, there were many beneficial things as well. However, on a happier note, the traitors got what they deserved, mostly died and the concubine turned crazy.

Anyway, I liked the lakorn :) It's worth a watch ^_^
