Xu Kai Xu Kai what a performance in ep.4 you beat that filthy old maid to the ground. (well your guard did but you gave the order) 😭 The emotions his eyes showed and the weight in his voice. omg 😳 this is the Xu Kai I remember. This is The Legends, Arsenal Military Academy etc all over again. Seeing him looks so good in this drama got me hoping him and yang Zi can paired up again for a ancient puppet drama. I see a new ancient puppet drama king and his name is Xu Kai. I’m really enjoying this drama a lot. I hope others will stop comparing it to other on going dramas and give it a chance. Nothing wrong with comparison but sometimes it can do more harm and stir up negativity than good. Kudos to the cast, directors and writers for doing such a good job.

it’s fine it’s just I don’t like when others comment on my post to tell me why they don’t think this drama is worth paying more attention to etc. both dramas are good and can be watched at the same which I am currently doing. to each their own. but I honestly don’t see the same. anyways. your comment was meant well. I don’t speak English so good anyways so perhaps I’m confused. I hope you keep enjoying this drama. I will keep enjoying both dramas in their own right.

Honestly I don’t see how you can compare these dramas together? This one and Spring or blade are quite literally different. but to each their own.

your welcome and yes my first drama of hers. I still go back to that drama a lot as the cast was on another level. She was part of I believe the ghost demon sect and she was adorable. A creepy living doll but she played the part so well.

I forgot how Zhou Ye can act her ass off. Omg she reminded me some much during the fake possessed scene of her character in Word of Honor. This drama got me hooked hooked. The way each episode opens up and the haunting instrumental is amazing. This year IQYI has given me three dramas that has amazed me. The Heir, Key to the Phoenix heart, and now Spring of the Blade.

Okay this has sold me from the get go. That first scene and the musical score is everything. I am loving this so much. I’m still on episode one as I paused to watch Against the current. But wow Xu Kai never disappoints. This is going to be one of my favorites of this year dramas I can tell. the only thing is maybe it’s the lighting but his makeup sometimes comes off ghostly. I’m sure it’s just lighting. Hope it gets better later on.

I’m freaking caught up and omg this is a ride. I’m also super sleepy juggling this and spring of blade but omg this is good. thanks everyone for replying to my comment earlier. For those who warned me about the wait time for newer episodes I see why you all said it. I can’t wait so I sneak on Weibo and twitter 😭😭😭 for sneak peeks.
