wait no? last week I was really sick and overworked and decided to push this back. is the waiting for new eps that bad? I just started ep.2 😭

I’m finally off and ready to start this. without any biasness how is the drama? is it like my past favorites Story of Ming lan, Flourished peony, The sword and brocade, love like the galaxy? etc? Both leads are some of my favorite unrated actors. So I hope this doesn’t disappoint me.

This is why the drama wasn’t my favorite of this genre. FL and ML to me seemed to not even be lovers / couple. It felt one sided and I do mean one sided. It just seems like he fell in love when she flew that plan and impress him. She fell in love with him because he did everything for her and pampered her the way she wanted to be. Which we know this because she stalked her step sister page 24/7 because she wanted to have what she has with her mother. which I can’t blame her. still the relationship didn’t feel believable. Unlike Flight to You where you truly believed the relationship had gotten somewhere. I actually felt like the side characters were more entertaining than the leads. No hate to Miles as he can act his butt off. This drama just wasn’t the best and so glad he’s no longer taking roles such as this. I will check out the FL current two dramas as she’s playing FL to two of my fav ML. All in all I had rated this a 8.0 but now it’s a 6.0 for me.

I need to see him pair with my favs Yang Zi, Kiku, Jelly Lin, Bai Lu. He would killed it. He’s already acted opposite of two of my favs Esther and Yang Yu Tong.

Liangjie didn’t get SFL which I’m kinda glad (tad upset) but as netizens said on Weibo hot search. She’s better off getting an S+ or S++ FL role. Wake has given fans a newer side of hers. Many not knowing she comes from a military background such as her character. This role alongside her many others have shown netizens she’s someone to watch out for. I hope our girl can get a FL role soon for such S+ dramas. I do have a question is her resources not as much as earlier in her career? I did see some netizens asked this and I have to wonder. Hi Venus has a high douban score and even her roles in the Eternal Love series, Side story Fox, The day of becoming you and even White olive tree were amazing break through career moments. Does anyone knows who she’s signed too? Would really like to know if they’re ulitizing my girl fully.

I think I might be the only one who’s enjoying the side characters storyline than the main couple. this is a first for me when it comes to a miles Wei drama. however as I’ve stated in the past I can’t get into the chemistry. it’s just not there. FL lead is decent when it comes to second lead roles she was pretty okay in Story of Kunning palace. I am looking forward to her other two dramas so there’s hope she will amaze me there. But here I’d much rather if the female lead had of been the second lead actress from oath of love Ma Yu Jie. Her character Jiang Zi Yue is more complex with an actual believable character storyline. Anyways I haven’t rated the drama yet waiting on 20 episodes before I do. So far nothing much is keeping me glued other than Miles being sexy as usual. Zhao Qing and her chemistry with Fei Qing Ming which has trended Weibo these past week. and Ma Yu Jie.

I agree. saving grace is miles, Zhao Qing, and Fei Qi Ming. I’ve even decided to give the drama another chance but ugh it’s boring. I really loved Flight to you so much and hate to compare but it has more grit.

there’s a 🍉 for a movie project that has a filing already called white night walk and yang Zi is supposed to be among the cast. I hope this is true.
