Does the book have the same name?

They’re spreading it too thin. We’re half way, and I can’t see how they’re going to resolve all the stories in the remainder. It’s either going to be rushed, or lots of loose threads are going to remain untied. Also, the central pair aren’t getting enough screen-time together.

Well, it’s entertaining. Giggles are to be expected. Probably blushes too!

It’s nothing to do with nationality. China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and so forth all have good and bad actors, actors who can’t play queer convincingly, and often those made for Mandarin markets are dubbed, so you’re frequently not even hearing the actor’s voice at all. Making sweeping statements about one country or the other having better actors is either naive or disingenuous.

I’m actually really enjoying the way they interact with and treat one another. I’ve only had one relationship with that kind of vibe, and I’d like more. I like that when one says he wants to be considered a delicate little flower the other plays up to that. I like that they are so openly into one another, without any inauthentic bollocksing around or fakery with grandiose promises. I like that they can talk turkey and immediately pivot into flirting, without losing sincerity. I wish these characters were real people in my life. They’re relatable, and charming.

So much funky wordplay near the end of episode one, then they cut. How rude 😒

Whoever is voicing the male manager in the dub is letting the rest down. He’s playing it cartoonish, while everyone else is playing it straight. The rest is good.

The shorting of the power in the shower should have flipped the circuit breaker again too. It would have electrocuted them otherwise. Logic is in short supply. Fantastic plot lines don’t mean you can throw basic logic out the window. It’s a cute series so far though.

Melodrama and smut. I’m guessing it’ll do well.

This is good, and has a spectacularly pretty cast, and nicely written characters, and so far no stupid bad communication. I am enjoying the complete absence of toxicity.
