Bad dubbing is what the target audience expects, and is used to, I think. I donāt know if it will help you, but I turn the sound right down when I watch Chinese dramas, so the dubbing isnāt so in your face. It definitely improves the experience for me.

About the house, for someone like me, who experiences sensory overwhelm, darkly coloured spaces are really restful, but itās also not a common taste. I think most people prefer bright and airy. In this instance I think itās meant to represent the darkness of Sueaās mafioso relations. having gangsters for father and brother when you donāt like gangs is clearly the source of his pain. Itās not dumb. Itās helpful to those who havenāt seen it to get a range of opinions. Also, posting criticism doesnāt necessarily mean you hate a series. It means you feel the flaws should be discussed.
