It looks like Pavel wanted to cry when Thup called him again and again ... That scene made me emotional because…
I think Victor was the best actor in this series by a large margin. He played naturalisticly all the way through, without melodrama. It was interesting how much scarier than anyone else that made him. I found Bom more frightening than the ghost or his father. Being convincing is more frightening than melodrama.

🤣 We know the series isn't going well when we can only comment good things about a characters house hahahaha.…
šŸ˜†

I’m obsessed with it. My sister and I both love mid-century homes. She goes for the more brutal, heavy on concrete look. I’m into the more delicate natural wood version. This house has exactly the vibe I go for. If this house were here I’d be wanting to buy it. I’ve noticed a lot of houses with this feel in Thai productions. P&P’s home in KinnPorsche had a similar feel to it, and other shows have featured locations like this.

Re. the production: I honestly think it’s pure fan service. It’s like My Stubborn, in that the whole thing is an excuse to string together a series of NC scenes together, rather than actual attempt at storytelling. If we’re very lucky the characters might get arcs, but I’m not going to keep watching. I may go back if reviews after the fact mention an improvement in at least two of plot, characterisation, or acting. My Stubborn kept my interest with a few of the cast members, and the fact that there were arcs, but it gave the impression of prioritising NC scenes over the things I value much higher in a romance. My note in this is ā€œbasic wank-bankā€ for now šŸ™ƒ

I find it interesting that Koh came up with his way to make art (and money) and as an artist Jira should try to…
GAI is, by its very nature creative violence. The only way to train it effectively to create art like humans create is by feeding it the work of creative human beings. By that very act you are in fact stealing, because none of the art concerned was released by the artists who made it. making a creative human redundant in their vocation is really negative. The impact on art and artists is devastating, and it’s based on a really insidious form of plagiarism. I’ve worked in video games, and have many friends who are either fine artists or commercial artists in a range of industries, from games, through film, and into fashion and industrial design, and not one of them would release their work to be exploited this way. I suspect you’d have to look very hard to find a really passionate artist who considers what the big AI companies are doing acceptable. Scraping the internet to feed GAI is basically mass piracy that harms creative humans. It’s completely unacceptable. Doing it to artists you know personally and care about is how you turn them into enemies. This point of view isn’t unusual or over the top. It’s wrecking careers, by theft, and the future of creativity by autocannibalism, and selective breeding. I’m not angry as I write this. I’m just kind of horrified that the future ramifications of this haven’t occurred to you.

Fluff. Charming fluff. Delightful cast. Mind candy. Recommended for those feeling a bit fragile, and in need of comfort food for the psyche.

happy to see the ratings going up and the show getting more recognition šŸ’–āœØ
Yes, it’s matched the rating I gave it. I think it’s getting better though. I may lift my rating if it keeps this up.

It’s just a wank-bank so far. I’m bored. I do love Po’s house though. The light and decor are fabulous. It would just be nice if they included some acting, plot, and characterisation, and smacked the audio engineer until he stopped using the stretch sound.

they took a week off, which is possibly the stupidest thing ever. It’s due out on the 7th (the 8th here in Aotearoa).…
That’s my fault. I was very hyperbolic. Sorry about that.

Silly, but entertaining. Short vertical dramas are uniformly rubbish, but sometimes amusing. This one is both. It’s actually the best one I’ve seen, but that’s not saying much. Only fun if you have the sense of humour of a prepubescent boy, like me.

I’m giving up on it, despite BillyBabe. There are a few reasons, but you’ve named the main ones. I’m not even close to half way, and I’m over it. It is well-named šŸ™ƒ

Y'all complain about every series that gets put out. Go cry about it.
Giving an opinion isn’t crying. Its a point of view, expressed in an appropriate forum.

I really really hope it was just a poor oversight and it won’t happen in any other episodes but I’m not holding…
Bookending it with GAI rubbish was a mistake. It just detracts from the actual production.

Aw, I completely fell for Je Meow. Even knowing what was about to happen I lost it.

Earth has improved so much. He really annoyed me in the first season. He’s learned restraint, and doesn’t overact so much any more. I can see his appeal now. The whole cast has upped their game a bit. I’m so glad they made this season šŸ‘

It’s not a big dealt me. I think it’s stupid, but I’m not that upset. Did you think I was?

Their fan meets in other time zones and territories strongly indicate, as does their licensing to international platforms, that that’s not all they’re targeting. Netflix is hardly a Thai-only audience. Nor is iQIYI. They, very rightly, are shooting for global sales.

Do you happen to know their Weibo?
no, sorry. The iG was posted by the production, but no other IDs were shared.
