Although I’ve heard from the novel he does create an antidote for her, which causes him a lot of pain, but it doesn’t seem to put him on his deathbed. Also, at least the novel has a happy ending so we know he can’t die. So I’ve tried googling this, and Google comes up with nothing.

And somebody’s comment that apparently all misunderstandings are supposed to be cleared up by episode 23. This is possibly why there’s a heartbreak symbol on the female leads airing schedule. Not sure why there’s an rate formation on their schedule as a couple yet or what that means for them.

When they were living in a little fisherman’s house, I understand or understood a bit more about keeping a secret because that was like his little slice of heaven, been wanting to keep her to himself for a little while. Besides, let’s face it she was secretly or maybe not so secretly amused by his charade of trying to hide who he was lol

I think that when destiny brings the demon a couple has one of the healthiest relationships out of almost every Xinaxia I’ve seen that’s even including the legend of Shen Li. Even though the legend of Shen Li for the most part of the leads are generally on the same page. It’s only when he doesn’t communicate at the end and locks her up that kind of irritates me lol says it’s for her own safety, but doesn’t explain why. 😂

I think so too, I also feel like they haven’t gone enough into her background because they were so determined to show that he came from a very poor and traumatic background that people feel sorry for him which they should and empathetic but then they don’t give the female enough background scenes and so people just think she’s not a good person even though I can rebuild between the lines and how she acts and know that her background probably wasn’t the greatest without having to read the novel even though I’ve read spoilers lol

All I have is when they change the writing on the mail character, but that they don’t rewrite the females character to match. So then it seems like her character comes off as inconsistent and leads to viewers, criticizing and misunderstanding her.
