The chemistry between the leads was the best I’ve seen in a long time. The side characters were decent and not too dislikable. The villain was played perfectly by an actor who often plays that same role. I’d actually like to see him play the good guy for once, but he has such a great face for an evil character. What I like most about the show is it kept me wanting for the next weekend to come so I could see what happened. It wasn’t long and drawn out. Some of the back-and-forth between time periods could be confusing and not fully developed, but it was enough to move the plot along. The relationship with her grandmother was really beautiful. The actress who plays her grandmother is one that I’ve seen in so many roles and she was excellent in this one as she is in most of her roles. the ending scene between the two of them was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen in dramas. Overall, this will be one of my top dramas for the year. I hope there’s another one like this in the wings.
So it seems they found grandpa....or more accurately, grandpa found his way back. I can't wait to watch the ep…
I really hope he is. I can’t imagine that he changed that much after learning he was the son of the chairman. It would be very inconsistent with a character that we’ve seen for the last 39 episodes.
I really love this show but this weekends episodes were stressful for most of the time. Thankfully there were a few sweet moments sprinkled in. I hope next weekend they don’t do the same thing and give us 5 minutes of happiness at the end.
So for those of us that seem to agree that she was Sin SoRi all along, I have a question. Why did Se Gye dream about the crown prince? Was that just meant to steer us in the wrong direction? Hopefully this will be answered next week.
What if she is the real Seori?1. During the childhood incident, her soul was stolen and switched with the past.2.…
I totally agree. When I saw that accident at the end of the episode from when she was a child I also felt she is the same person but was trapped in some way. Your analysis makes a lot of sense to me. The question then is why has he had dreams about the past life?
Nowthat its finally out in the open that hes the chairmans son hes apparently keeping it a secret from his closest coworkers. Previews are often deceiving though. He may be doing it to keep up the undercovrr mission. i would think hed be thrilled to learn the VP is his sister and he has found gis father. With 12 remaining episodes they need to stretch it out a bit i suppose.
Binged all 10 episodes over the weekend. I really love their dynamic. It's refreshing to see how they still treat…
All good points and predictions. I hope you’re right. The only thing I disagree on is that Mr Queen has a sad ending. The original Queen was redeemed and she had a happy life with the King. The time traveler went back to the present time and his problems were resolved.
I love her!
