If the drama is true to the adaptation what's the problem? Also, it's been proven that in the ancient world and…
Most of royals were inbreed and kinda ugly if you look at history.. even when they were painted to be portrayed better they still looked scuffed af.
Aristocratic make up that is symbolizing wealth and status was very on the nose and not what we see in cdrama. It looked kinda ridiculous but intension was to be noticed for status.
Also none of that makes sense in many cdramas where you wouldn't even have time or ability to get make up or have like any sort of make up as soon as you wake up, traveling, on battlefield, remote location,..
They actually use to be like that but in the last few years, the industry introduced limitations.
So you prefer progression getting halted and pace slowed down to milk more episodes over better paced higher quality produced episodes?
Even if they added 10 more episodes it would feel the same because it's fundamental issue of many cdrama to shove most resolution at the end so no matter how many more episodes you add it feels rushed because it doesn't have consistent overall progression and pacing throughout all episodes.

It doesn't need more episodes. It needs tighter mid and reduce the fluff so actual progression happens at better pacing without feeling rushed at the end or adding unnecessary more episodes.
Aren't Kdramas usually highly rated? Here there's two sides to it, the drama has not ended and people have their…
I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
I am saying cdramas have inflated ratings.
I mostly noticed inflated ratings in kdramas with idols or romcoms but cdramas overall have inflated ratings and on average sit higher regardless of actual quality. So they sit higher then expected rating.
You focused on few highly rated kdramas which misses my point.
Some of the reasons for its high rating is, imo:1. if you're a seasoned idol cdrama watcher you know how special…
I am trying to start and watch some cdramas but I must say most were just not for me.
Most I tried watching either have awful pacing or acting I disliked.
Occasionally I found something I like, sadly it almost always fall apart after first 1/3 but I only tried watching a few.
I feel like some that I kinda liked would be so much better if they were edited into tighter format with less episodes, good pacing and removed pointless stuff.
I'll put your recommendations on the list and check them out when I have more time.

Idk about that. Most kdramas are high 7 or low 8. This is 9.2 which is extremely rare for kdramas but I seen many cdramas rated high 8 or over 9 that would be like low 8 otherwise.
It sets expectations high.. it's basically scored as if this is the best cdrama has to offer.
how come? because she wanted to do her job and didn't like when an ex-convict scam shaman kept messing with their…
Threat of violence has strong basis for a duress defense (imminent threat) which if proven would lead to them not being criminally liable but without proof and only going as if it was just blackmail then I guess he would be partially liable with reduced punishment
I like dramas from IU but idk why you take promotional material as gospel?
It will be castrated, sterile adaptation that won't be even able to potray original point of the show.
While Korean version has things that can be improved, I don't see how cdrama with restrictions and limited budget could do that.

This show has so many short cuts and plot holes them being on the same case is not even top 10.
I also have latest rage bait detector.
Stop wasting my time.
All critical thinking is gone these days..

As I said I find this enjoyable but it has many faults.
