mark it as spoiler please?
And as a new comer what do you exactly get from my comment? Unless you reached episode 15 or something you won't even know which swindler am talking about, what's going on with royal family or what am saying overall. If I did believe that my comment was indeed a spoiler I wouldn't let it show proudly. Like I said I didn't mention names, nor talk in details. If you really don't want to see spoilers that much, it's better to watch everything first then come to the comments section to not be faced with actual spoiler comments. Not trying to be rude here, but seriously I don't think you should be worried about my comment. Anyway the only true spoiler am giving you is that you will highly enjoy the show lol

Yeah they are pretty quick
Yeah, so far this drama is worthy of 10/10 rating for me (Along with Big Mouth, both are masterpieces).

What exactly did I spoil? At this point everyone know everything and even if you didn't watch till the latest episode, I didn't even bother mentioning names apart from Mu Deok and Naksu which is already shown from the first episode lmao unless you watched all episodes released you won't be able to fully get what am talking about so chill.

Main female lead is too old, other leads are young and good looking. Bad choice of female lead.
I don't believe so, yeah it's clear she is older in real life, and in the drama she is also supposed to be older. But she isn't that old look-wise compared to the male lead. it fits with the whole master disciple concept they are using. She is quite pretty too, even prettier than the spring girl who is supposed be a drop dead beauty in their world in my opinion so I got no complains lol both male lead and female lead are good looking and a good match.

Oh, I love how everyone figure out things pretty quick in this drama. They didn't take ages to discover the truth about that swindler's true identity and even figured out what's going on with the royal family. Some figured out that Mu Deok is Naksu. Even that leader woman figured out that bitch isn't her actual daughter already. Everyone actually got logic and they don't drag the misunderstandings for too long. That's what I like the most about this drama, the pace is quick enough that you won't get bored and frustrated and characters behave smartly and realistically.

If they do the it was dream ending, I would cry from disappointment honestly. That's how much I love this drama lmao

I keep saying it, but I really think Big Mouse hasn't been introduced to us yet, and I do think it's likely that…
Alter-ego as in split personality, right? I mean I saw another comment saying a similar thing and they said him having split personality would be cliché and easy which I personally disagree with. I really like the alter-ego theory. I mean if he has two personalities, Big Mouse and Park Chungho, and Big Mouse is fooling everyone including his other personality Chungho who doesn't realize what's happening that would make a dope conclusion. Besides it would explain how Big Mouse is able to know everything going on with Chungho that easily. The reason Big Mouse is getting revenge on the rich and hospital people might be because they were somehow related to his parents? Idk something of the sort.

I relate!!! I've been stuck in episodes 10 for ages now and I don't think I'll ever continue
Am stuck on episode 7 and can't handle this shit anymore, only reason I watched this far is my love for Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young XD

Wow, when I realized there was a drama staring Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young, I went crazy cause I love both a lot! And even though am not really into romance, but I totally approve of the thought of them being a couple.
The thing is I watched 6 episodes of this drama and well...I'm already dying of boredom! Even Jin Goo and Ga Young couldn't be enough for me to not feel like falling sleep all the time. The plot seemed interesting at first but then nothing really happens after a while...just the two leads talking, eating, crying, and that's it. Other characters (Like the police force in the town, the FL mother and grandmother) are either annoying as hell or forgettable. I know it might be a bit early to judge but I find this drama kinda a failure. They are clearly relying on Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young's fame instead of having a real plot as a main focus. The two lead characters are super bland. FL is a childish crybaby, ML feels empty or dead inside most of the time (Not the leads acting is the issue here to be clear, the reason I love them both is cause they are great actors. The characters themselves are badly written that's the problem). I mean this is still my personal opinion and many might disagree which is fine and all, but I highly doubt I will change my mind any time soon.

Edit: Finally after painful long 17 days I watched the rest of episodes, well yeah the drama kept getting worse and worse for me, I just finished it cause I really hate dropping stuff I watched half episodes of and I was hoping the last episodes will be worth it, but nah, total waste of time honestly. This plot would've worked better with 6 or 8 episodes only. 16 episodes made it overly draggy, one of the worst Kdramas to be aired lately.

Big Mouth is super worth it, I'm highly enjoying it so far so I hope you watch it too. If it keeps going great till the end then it will be worthy of being called best and most memorable Kdrama of 2022 (Along with Alchemy of Souls maybe if it also keep going great). That's my personal opinion.
About the Love Between Fairy and Devil, I did think about watching it but decided to pass since I had more than enough of Chinese historical romance dramas. Watched a ton of them already and they all basically got same plot style so now I don't enjoy them anymore.

How is Alchemy of Souls, is the story really good ? I've heard good things overall, but is it heavy on romance…
No, the romance isn't the main focus, the whole fantasy elements and action are the focus, but there is still very nice romance going on too. The plot is very interesting, acting is great, costumes, special effects, and sets are beautiful. There is nice humor, bromance, and chill moments as well. Overall it's a really great drama and plot keeps getting better and better the more you watch. I highly recommend it personally. Don't worry it's not the typical cringe type of Kdrama, and main characters are super likeable.

Everyone watches movies or shows from another angle (particularly dumbed-downed Westerners). Some of the cases…
Well, first of all am not a Western lol I can't even stand Western shows to begin with that's why I switched to Asian. Also when I said the cases were different than the typical murder ones in other law dramas, I meant it in a good way as in unique. I do appreciate them trying to tell lessons through the cases like how there shouldn't be discriminations against women, North Koreans, or harsh treatment and parenting of children...etc I'm not a retard I could understand the messages behind all these cases. Yet that doesn't mean I should enjoy them just cause I understood them. Same like what happen is schools, you might actually get taught something important, and you learn it anyway and get high grades, but does that mean that you have to force yourself to enjoy these lessons? Or be obsessed with the subject itself? No obviously!
Also people still watch dramas for many reasons, like I said I found half of the cases stupid or boring, yet I kept watching cause I liked the characters and wanted to see what will happen to all of them. You can watch something for the romance, plot, acting, action, characters, characters chemistry, the sets...blah blah any reason. Just cause you didn't enjoy some parts of it, doesn't mean that have to drop it.
If you think this drama is flawless good for you, but don't force your opinion on others. I'm not bothering to force mine on you or anyone else, just told my honest criticism. I do think the cast deserve support and all, but the writing needs to be improved, that's my peroneal point of view.
Lots of people prefer more exaggerated plots cause they are more fun by the way. That's why fantasy, action, and fantasy historical dramas are popular, why? Cause they are UNREALSITC. If I want to see overly realistic stuff then I would go watch actual court videos, history documentaries, or police footages of them chasing criminals. Even romance and comedy dramas can be awfully unrealistic, yet people watch them, cause they need a change from real life bullshit. Just cause actual law stuff include lots of paper work or whatever that doesn't mean they gotta show it in shows, cause guess what? Most people wouldn't enjoy seeing that. If people want that then they would just become a lawyer themselves to have a real life experience of that pure joy lmao

Yeah I decided to just focus on Big Mouth and Alchemy of Souls at this point, both are amazing. I finished Extraordinary Attorney Woo and well it was good, not great but good. Also did you watch Adamas? I wonder if that one is worth it. watched one episode and it was hella boring too lol

Oh, they confirmed a second season?
Though that still won't fix the issue of having many super boring cases and the cases are the main focus in the drama.

Honestly this whole drama seemed like it had no actual plot to me, it was so random, like nothing of importance…
I watched 10 episodes so far and godman, they were super boring and I also find main couple irritating. Especially that childish rude ass ML. Barely have a reason to complete it at this point.
