The title stylisation is so tragic 🤭
Yeah, I keep reading it as Shitting Stars even after I started watching it lmao it's awful! They wanted to be unique, but ruined it completely.

Okay I finished half of this drama and so far many things have been bothering me...

1- That scene in first episode showing Africa...that was painful to see honestly. I'm African myself and even though yes, I live in a third world country and my country has tons of issues and poverty..etc the situation isn't as dire as they show in that scene. Africa got tons of countries, some are very beautiful and developed (Like Egypt for example, it's a great country that has amazing sights, food, tourism places, and culture), they just kept talking as if whole of Africa has it's people living in the jungle with animals, wandering around bare foot, not having food, water, electricity, or anything which is a huge lie.

Yeah many countries here might not be as privileged and advanced as western and Asian countries or whatever, but they are not that retarded...they just turned the male lead into this sweet Jesus figure who went there to save all "poor suffering Africans", wasting his precious time in such a disgusting place blah blah like please...
I really wish they didn't bother making those stupid scenes, especially since this drama was recently made, it's quite surprising for them to make such an offensive and racist shit in this day and age. They got tons of African fans including myself and this is how they greet us?! Lmao

2- I can't stand the male lead, I'm sorry I can't bring myself to like him at all. I know he has a sad past and shit (Telling from the spoilers I read about the drama's plot lol), but seriously I don't give two fucks about how sad a person's past is, it doesn't mean they can be assholes to everyone around them. I myself went through tons of crap, some are similar to what happens with the ML even, but I didn't decide to act like an elementary school brat, acting all rude, and annoying over it.

This whole Tsundere trope is such a cancer! When will they stop overusing this damn trope?! He likes the FL, so he treats her poorly and make her irritated all the time, tries to order her around and control her, if another guy tries to hit on her he gets even ruder and more annoying...is that type of bullshit really cute?! Am there crazy one here?
If I was in FL position and had a guy like ML falling for me, I would rather die than be with him honestly. You like me? Then make me like you back with good treatment and respect, not this childish attitude! They aren't high school kids, but fucking adults! I prefer the lawyer dude much better. It feels more as the ML is her prick younger brother than lover material.
Also their chemistry isn't that mind blowing.

After all his rudeness and turn off of a personality, of course the FL will instantly fall for him ignoring all better guys out there cause guess what? She is a FL in a kdrama and basically most FL characters in kdramas are awfully dumb when it come to romance and relationships. Always picking guys who treat them like dirt all cause they got a sad past and need the FL to be their eternal emotional crutch and mother figure...yup!

3- I highly dislike unprofessional working environments where everyone got nothing better to do than gossip, act like kids, drink all day long, and watch their co-workers every move like hawks. Why do you care about whom your co worker is dating? Why is that important, it's their business so shut up and do your work then go home! I mean I get they will be a bit that way since they are basically working in one hell of a shallow industry and all, but still...they always make the employees behave that way in most dramas I see, even if they got the most serious and dark jobs ever as a humor trope I guess? But it's not funny to me...
I do appreciate them showing some of the shit going on in these companies and how celebrities can be in real life and all that. I like that part about the plot.

4- They keep adding more and more characters with more and more subplots, and romance that I'm starting to feel dizzy at this point. I mean many of the support characters are actually funny and likeable (Which is why I keep watching this drama, besides I like the actress playing FL role. Usually I only watch dramas for male leads sake but she is among the few actresses I actually like and find really pretty), but the plot keeps getting more chaotic in a non good way.

Edit: Finished the drama at last and yeah nothing changed, the drama was meh, and the main couple were cringe and boring as hell. The side characters were still way more interesting even though by the 11th episodes I basically stopped caring about all the 300 couples included in the drama and all the filler crap they dragged the episodes with. 12 episodes maximum would be more suitable for this plot.

Dropped this after 3 episodes and I don't regret it. The concept was nonsensical.
I watched it, but only for Lee Joon Gi. Almost dropped it 10 times so honestly unless you're also his fan, you should never bother with this drama.
Want to watch something crime, evil rich people...etc related? Watch Big Mouth instead, so far it's great!

This movie was pure trash, hated everything about it. I can't even stand overly wack animes with over the top humor and fighting scenes, let alone having this shit in live action form lmao

I think m the only one who dint like this movie. The theme is very common n there r better movies out there in…
I actually highly dislike this movie, like the plot was boring and stupid as hell. Also I don't get what's so great about the FL to make the ML be that willing to risk himself for her and they barley interacted that much to begin with, she barley had screen time even though she is the reason ML had to go through all that. Like just cause she is pretty he decided "Oh, I will die for her, lose my job, go against my MENTALLY FUCKED UP MAFIA boss, and murder tons of men!" and that's it...I love how in the synopsis they wrote he fell for her grace and humanity blah blah but seriously, I don't see any of that. She is just a damn cheating sugar baby who only existed to give the ML a reason to betray his boss and suffer...Like I'm quite sure he interacted with tons of pretty girls in his work field, so why didn't he fall for any of them before?! There is literally nothing special about her character and that freaking irritated me!
I got bored just 20 minutes in watching this and if I did have anything better to do at that moment I wouldn't bother finish it in the first place. Some parts related to the mafia/fighting scenes were a bit cringe also, but since it was made in 2005 I guess I will let that slide. The ending didn't effect me at all. This movie was a total failure for me honestly and if it wasn't for the good acting I wouldn't bother giving it more than 1/10.

I get this was supposed to be sad and touching...tho the only reason I watched it till the end is Oguri Shun. He is among my top actors so I couldn't help but wanna check it out. To be honest I prefer him more in dark/psychological or action stuff more than these romance emotional ones. (But he did well in Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers as the gentle/sweet boy, I can't deny that).
anyway, I don't mind slow dark/gloomy plots, but this one was more boring and draggy to me...I think I watched too much Japanese stuff with same damn plot (Girl who love to act overly cheerful and cutesy is sick and dying, she meets a guy and cling to him by force, make him fall for her, then she dies and leaves him all miserable with her memories...) they keep overusing it to the point where it's not that new nor impactful anymore. Besides the fact that non of the characters were likeable to me at all.
The male lead was boring and dull to death.
The FL was annoying to me, I get she was dying and that's awful obviously, but I seriously hated how she would always use her illness as a way to order him around and force him to do stuff to please her, like a spoiled brat. Also the fact that she didn't tell the truth to any of her friends nor family yet decided to drop all her heavy burdens and gloomy thoughts into a random boy who was minding his own business.
Also her overly obsessed best friend and ex were annoying as hell. That shit wasn't cute at all, just cause you're friends or past lovers doesn't mean you can control and act over protective with them to the point of being rude as heck to anyone who breathes next to them, like seriously!
But to be fair, the way she died in the end was kind of an interesting plot twist I guess...

Title Duelist Spoiler
Honestly, I highly disliked this movie. Almost everything about it turned me off. If it wasn't for Ha Ji Won being one of my top Korean actresses and the male lead being hot af (I'm a simp for pretty faced guys with flawless long hair), I would drop the movie during the first 15 minutes.
1- The way it was filmed was awful to me (I get it was supposed to be artistic and unique, but I I hated it). Felt more like a weird overdone kid show.

2- The fight scenes were awfully fake and felt more like watching people dancing on some stage than them actually fighting. The last fight scene at the end between Namsoon and Sad Eyes was kinda nice though, since it was clearly made to be romantic and emotional lovers non serious fighting so I let it pass.

3- The romance was meh (barley cared about that part).

4- I hated the FL character, and how she behave. This was my first time hating a role acted by Ha Ji Won, I get she was raised by men and lived in mostly men dominated environment + she works as detective in the era were women didn't do that type of shit...etc but still they made her act overly tomboyish to the point were it was cringe as hell. Like even the men don't act that over the top, why make her act and walk like a retard?! (It's not first time she acts as tomboy character, she knows how to do it properly like in Empress Ki, so I know it's the director fault or something).
Also they had to give her anger issues (She basically yells and make ugly expressions most of the time). She is the typical utterly annoying Tsundere FL who chases after the ML like a damn stalker till he forcibly falls for her at the end cause he knows she wouldn't leave him alone if he doesn't (I get she was chasing him for her job sake at first, but she did it over her obsession of him at some point too). I got Sakura (From Naruto) and her creepy obsession of Sasuke flashbacks from Namsoon.

5- The humor was trash and random af! Especially the dirty humor, that was gross instead of amusing. They shouldn't wasted giving screen time to these odd ass non important characters and their nonsense.

6- The plot was quite messy and confusing, like till half the movie I suffered to get what was going on, and ending was also not that great.

7- I even hated the music, like it's really rare for me to hate 99% things about a movie/drama. Only thing I liked was the male lead character and his visuals and that's it.

More interesting than i thought it would be. Wish it had gone longer as i would have loved for some of the issues…
To me it was overly long actually and I disliked how they focused too much at some barely interesting points instead of the actual important parts., but the movie was still very good and the acting was great with a very deep plot.

The message that this movie conveys isn't bad, but it was a bit too long for such a plot. I also liked that basically all characters were wrong and at fault for the decisions they made. If ya do shit, ya will end up paying the price for it in the end no matter how much ya try to avoid it.
Sadly, none of the people in the plot was likeable, I couldn't sympathy with anyone (Maybe apart from the dead girl's parents and that grandma, others were mentally messed up, one way or another).

Oh, I watched this movie like 9 times or more, that's how much I love it! It was the reason I got into Korean dramas/movie and it will always stay in my top 10 Korean/Asian movies of all time.

That's the point. Even without the sex scenes the plot itself is still very mature and 19+. A king who is gay…
Am not so into sex scenes myself, but the sex scenes here made 100% sense and to me and they were well done.

Getting vibes of Business Proposal and 2521... 🤣🤣👏👏
I don't like cliche stuff that much so I might suffer to enjoy it a bit, but I might still watch a couple of episodes to see how it goes and If I can't bring myself to handle it I will just drop.

Yeah, I highly doubt I will agree with your opinion, but I might give this drama a chance and watch one more episode to see how it goes.

Go Ah Ra's crying gets me punching a wall each and every time in ALL her dramas and movies. Has she no other method…
Same! I really can't stand seeing her cry. She has the same dang personality here that she had in Hwarang. A useless crybaby constant damsel in distress and only logical reason for any guy to like her is that she is pretty and that's it...I don't hate the actress herself obviously since I don't personally know her or something of the sort nor I follow her news, but her acting make me ill. She in my list for worst actresses I ever came across.
