Okay I gave this movie 4 / 10 because I suffered to finish it ( Literally needed two days to do so ). First of all the romance parts were awkward and cringey as hell. Natsuki was such a boring guy and Anna was really really dull ( Which I guess makes them a great match or something! ), Tsuyoshi and his gf were a bit weird and lame but overall not too bad. Tomoya was the typical funny, mischievous wanna be play boy dude but at least he was the most entertaining character in the movie. Kei just existed for some reason...just cause there had to be 4 guys I guess. Chiba was the best female character and most bearable one. Mari was just an eyesore tbh. Childish, clingy, possessive and rude af! I couldn't help but want to slap her during the whole movie, especially when she threw unnecessary tantrums like a true brat. But since annoying females aren't a new trend in Japanese ( Or Asian overall ) stuff I wasn't that much surprised...kind of regretted wasting time on this. anyway I know I was quite harsh but I wish the plot was better than this. I did watch the anime ( Before a long time so I forgot most of the story ) still I remember that I truly enjoyed it and never felt this negative about it at all so the movie must be a real disappointment, at least to me. Also there were barley friendship moments, they focused too much on the boring romance crap.
Ikr! I suffered to complete it and I couldn't bring myself to like the female lead at all. She is pretty but both…
Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not the type of BL fan that only obsess over BL but never give straight romance a chance. I also enjoy watching Male x Female stuff as long as both of the leads are interesting and the plot is good. A great examples are Ashes of Love, Love O2O, The Legends, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Oh My Emperor...etc plus many other Japanese and Korean romance dramas. I don't care if Yibo act with a female as long as her personality is appealing but the female lead here is just so annoying and that's why I criticized her and the chemistry between them.
Actually even when it comes to body build Arthur was more fitting for Ning Que's character since he is tall, more…
Well maybe but I doubt that I will like her even after I know the secrete you're talking about. Her personality isn't my type at all though I agree that this season seems like a totally different drama thanks to the cast changes and Arthur had a better chemistry with SangSang's actress. Still I was only able to view them as siblings but couldn't ship them as couple at all.
Ugh. Right in the heart at the end of Episode 2. WHY?! I am having trouble watching the rest of this because I…
Same here! I really hated the romance and the female lead. The actress is pretty and everything but her acting and character's personality are so frustrating that it hurts! If it wasn't for the guys and their great friendship and music, I would drop this drama for sure.
The siblings are getting rly intimate...feels like I'm watching bl or maybe HYT and CZY just have that great of…
Hold on, when will that happen?? I watched all the 24 subbed episodes that were aired in Kissasian and nothing of the sort happened yet. Is there is another website where I can watch episodes with subs faster than Kissasian?
I'm enjoying this so far! Never got bored during any episode. Though am I the only one who gets Lan Zhan and Wei Ying vibes from the twins here? I mean Xiao Yu wear same colors as Wei Ying, he is mischievous, funny, very smart, act like a brat sometimes yet really kind in the inside. And Wu Que wears white, he has a close hairstyle to Lan Zhan's, he appears elegant and overall viewed as a perfect and pure person. He is from a respected sect / clan. Also with his frozen expressions he kinda reminds me of Lan Zhan during first episodes of The Untamed.
Am I the only who can't connect to ning que after the cast change? I don't know why but Arthur potrayed ning que…
Actually even when it comes to body build Arthur was more fitting for Ning Que's character since he is tall, more intimidating and has a bit of a bad boy / mischievous vibe. He was way cooler than Dylan who is also handsome, good at acting and everything but just look like a normal nice young man...kinda boring tbh Also the way they made him overly affectionate and lame with SangSang made his character lose all of it's badass elements. The first season was epic and I finished it fast but this one is painful to watch, especially that they are focusing more on SangSang who I find the most boring, useless and meaningless character in the whole drama along with the stuck up Long whatever his name is prince and the arrogant Dao Addict.
Your thoughts exactly align with mine but the problem is many viewers found her boring and awkward...Probably…
She was pretty realistic in how she handled their relationship in my opinion. She didn't act like a crazy fan girl, cocky or obsessive girlfriend. She also didn't treat the male lead rudely or pretend to be tsundere which made it easier for me to relate to her character. Especially since they are college students not kids. I can't handle it when they make the female lead so arrogant, mindless and immature.
