Also, I believe his emotions and obsessions are a bit masochistic, he wasn't shown any love and Ruyi wasn't the sweet parent-like shifu we see in many dramas, on the contrary she was even worse and cold to him than his family. She didn't treat him well then and doesn't now (though he deserve it now😅). Getting this attached to her is understandable but weird.


I was seriously hoping for an individual story about him and the princess, they look very compatiable but she's barely there☹

I'm very disappointed with how they're making LTG. I haven't seen 25-6 but I don't think he'll getting any better if not worse.


They wrote a complex character with high potential who wants the power to actually do good for once and isn't a villain but turning him into an unhinged lunatic 😬😬What a waste....

This drama reminds me of " When the Camelia blooms", they pandolled between cheesy comedy, fluffy romance and a deranged serial killer too. 😶

I feel the same. My favourite scene of him is when they kiss and all others are pouring leaves and he's just standing there looking bored as if he's not a gossip head like them😂

I think so too. There's been already several foreshadowing about his fate, and it's a favourite trope of writers to turn nonchalant characters like womanizers and dummies into the heros.

I haven't but I know what you say. Writing happy ever after to keep fans happy and praising is now more important than appropriate and logical ending. In the past, they killed every body relevantly and irrelevantly just to leave an impression and now even the people with the deadliest sickness who were at the edge of the death during the whole story can live without any cure😒😂

That's right. She only thought of killing then got a new idea of having a baby and now single mindedly persues that. Only now she's starting to think what having a baby is about in the first place.

Have you watched The Winter Begonia? In her tamer moments she reminds me of the female bandit there who'd heard from a fortuneteller that when she's 19 she'll have a son by a southener and she was pestering ML to *help* her. RuYi her is just as naive as her😆

I don't care really because I'll probably drop either way but I think his role as the detective at the present time and his past life as the king (probably that lady's husband) will be more flashed out than liking FL now.🤔

LTG and CY looked good together and she seemed like she's going to be infatuated with him or develop feelings first. I hope they wrap this childish obsession up soon and have them together so we can enjoy a matual love without any annoying 3rd wheel.
