Agree. I don't like romanticizing unhealthy relationships and behaviours and gushing over them as lovely but looking at historical shows with modern glasses is just as bad.

He did made it himself but after Baoying told him JXN had given her the cakes he became mad and told the cook to throw them out. Next day the cook made some different cakes for him to give to the 2nd Jiang daughter.

It's actually normal for many countries. There are several areas in my country where you go from hot desert-like places to all rains and cool weather even snowy in less than an hour or two.
