Yes it is something that annoys me that netizens feel the need to nitpick on the actors voice. For me their own voice is always 1000000% better then a dubber simply because of the immersion. Are there some cases where the va is really good and actually fits the role? Yes but when you know what the actor sounds like it can still throw you off.
I can't with YangYang's sour face. I hate characters like her and her constantly SAD facial expression doesn't…
I don't really have an opinion because her character is not important enough for me to think about xD She does not really do anything now anyhow compared to the first episodes.
yeah so far this one better than wrtw in my opinion
The biggest difference I'd say is that this has a MUCH better script and a director that is actually invested in the project. I love wrtw but they are not really comparable due to this.
What other great drama can I watch as I wait for part 2 of this? Please recommendations? Dramas where the characters…
If you don't mind a lower budget I'd say that The Imperial Coroner is a good drama. It's more about crime solving but there are smart characters and not really any annoying mean girls in there. The leads communicate well and it is also a more slow burn drama :)

I think this is one of the few times both Lusi and her male lead dubs themselves. Iirc most of her partners is usually dubbed and sometimes she is as well. So it is very satisfying to watch :)
I hope someone can enlighten me. I know some of the CDRAMA's have voice actors and actresses. But did Zhao Lusi…
All the actors dubbed themselves here :) But this production also had good microphones on set so not everything needed to be done in the studio. It is usually the productions choice whether or not dub will be used. I agree that Lusi has a very unique voice and I am really glad we can hear her real voice since I get really annoyed at all those high pitched super girly voice actors that are usually used when an actress is playing a younger character.
Well I think she comes and goes. When she was introduced in episode 16 she thought she was a young girl again…
Yes true :) But most of the watchers have not read the novel since there is no English translation. So if you want to talk about something that has not been shown in the drama yet you can always post a non spoiler first saying that you will talk about the novel below with a spoiler tag <3 No worries though. It is indeed click on your own risk.
Yes I am sincerely looking forward to it! Lusi is one of the few actresses I actually find cute when she acts drunk. A lot just feel very exaggerated and like they are trying too hard.
I know people are disappointed by the lack of OST in this drama ... But the instrumental bgm is equally satisfying....…
I agree as well. It is actually quite annoying when you hear the same song at least 20 times in every other episode xD There are ofc songs I do like but still they could try not to use them so often for more impact. I cannot wait for them to release the album with all these instrumental songs.
