If you like dramas that focus more on brains and their ability to outplay others you will like this ๐ The fight scenes were not that impressive but well it was the strategizing that was the interesting part anyway.
nice , Yeh , it will become insignificant as you go int the story, yes although they mixed 2 different endings
It's difficult to exaplain. The main leads seem to go back to their previous life (which is a mortal arc taking place around the middle of the drama) ending it happily there. While the rest of the people who are left alive live in peace.
There is a minor love triangle at the start but that girl has less screen time later.
How much politics and romance involved in this series?
The first one has less politics, while the second part is mostly set within the palace and therefor has some more politics. The romance is very slowburn so it depends on if you enjoy a slow buildup. The FL doesn't meet the ML in person until episode 8 and she will first pair up with the 3rd ml.
He is kind of annoying but then I also find it kinda funny to have such a selfish ML for a change ๐ Most leads in xianxias tend to grow up eventually though, so I guess it simply depends on if you think the rest might be interesting enough to continue.
I think it's alright. Not super high budget so some things probably aren't very fancy but I find the pacing good…
I only watched the first 6 episodes and I think it can be a decent xianxia. I don't really rate things after just a few episodes andd this has less watchers I think. For me so far the acting is a bit better compared to Beauty of resilience, although I think Angelababy probably suit a more mature character rather then a 20 year old.
I havenโt started watching yet; how is the plot and storyline overall?
I think it's alright. Not super high budget so some things probably aren't very fancy but I find the pacing good and the plot seems like it can be interesting. The male lead is surprisingly quite selfish, but I imagine that will change as the story goes on, and the fl is very lively. They fall in love very fast so that might feel weird to some, but I think it's kind of good to get some things out of the way so the characters grow up faster tbh.
Based on the synopsis here on mdl you would think it's about those two characters but it's not. The male lead is mistaken for the banished god who was searching for his love and is therefor taken to cultivate to be an immortal. This leads to some love triangle stuff as the memories of the banished god and blue stone(who was turned into a god) aren't complete.
I swear it must be a requirement for the description for a Xianxia show to be long winded and actually tell you…
"This play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Yan Yu Jiangnan, "Dust Fate". It tells the story of Zhang Yinyin (played by Yang Ying), a bright and unrestrained elder sister of the Xixuan School, who goes down the mountain and "abducts" back Ji Ruochen (played by Ji Ruochen), a fake immortal who wants to cultivate immortality. Ma Tianyu), who wants to lead him to start the road of cultivating immortals, but later breaks his defense because the other party snatches the top spot in the Qingyun list. ." According to douban.
But in the first episode it introduces the "banished god" who turned a blue stone into an immortal but due to an accident they were cast down on earth. Now after reincarnating 99 times they have their memories and people have started to look for the banished god. The ML encounters the banished god and then ends up being mistaken for him which is why he ends up going to cultivate.
Has Angelababy's acting improved? Or is it story impressive enough that it doesn't matter whether she has improved…
I only saw her in A murderous affair in Horizon tower before so I can't say a lot since it's two very different characters. Here her character is less mature compared to that, but I wouldn't say she is doing a bad job. I only watched 4 episodes today but I will be continuing tomorrow.
