The drama had a lot of potential in the beginning episodes but completely fell apart in the last 3-4 eps. Probably should have been a movie instead of 10eps.
Hoyeongs "6 month planning" failed the minute he hit the kid... i dont understand how he expected the accident not to get back to him?
The 3 main villains had no real punishment.. an open ending only to push a 2nd season thats not needed or wanted.
Sanghyeok began the season being carefree, no remorse, violent and ended the season exactly the same? Faced 0 consequences. Idk why he couldnt just die with hoyeong?
Eun was old enough to know how violent her family was.. i mean she was at Sanghyeoks trial?
The judges flip-flopping actions in the last 3 episodes was confusing and pathetic. - i mean alot of the characters actions in the drama made no sense.
Everyones acting was great! The plot point was interesting and had potential but was let down by the poor writing.

One of my favourite romance dramas of all time. Rewatched it again, now that its on netflix.

The only negative for me was how dismissive everyone was about Rumiko. Poor girl had to watch everyone play matchmaker with her man. She deserved better than Shinji. He never apologized or made up for what he did either. The writer just put them back together and never addressed Shinjis behaviour. Ryoko was right - Shinji never had to sacrifice anything, he did and got what he wanted.

So much of what makes this drama great, is what Modern romance dramas lack. The tension/yearning without the story running in circles for 16 episodes. The adults acting like adults (in many ways other than the romance) The female lead being flawed but likeable - funny/strong-willed without being portrayed as ridiculous/annoying or weak. The story and characters feel human.

Just me theorising - but during the flashback we see Siwon shaman mum tell hyerong that all you need is a strong intention and alot of blood for the "spell" and thats how hyerong creates the apps supernatural aspect. In the end episode, Nari yells her intention "i was you all to die" with anger and also has alot of blood shed from her and se-ah.

So im guessing, the original spell with Siwon has been destroyed, but now Nari hatred/jealousy has fueled a new game. Her phone holds the app with her wish - so the now her phone has replaced siwons phone. Idk whats happened to her body tho.. there were no flowers so probably not dead?
Honestly se-ah was so damn naive thinking nari could be saved. That girl was a nasty friend even before the app.

Nari was a bad friend/person even before the app stuff. The way she treated hyeongweok was just nasty. Im glad they didnt reconcile.

Its because social media either deletes your page/post or censor the creators if they say the "real" word. So to get around that ppl have moved to saying "unalive" / "grape" its not hard to understand why its this way. Its also not that deep.

FL mother is jobless, not contributing to paying off her husbands debt or even rent.. but has the nerve to complain about staying in a cheap hostel and selling off her luxury bags... ?

also considering HW is saving so many peoples lives (the people who should've died), i wonder how thats going to affect this current timeline. Will everyone he saved still die in the end? or will it be someone unexpected? someone who didnt die in his previous lifetime. *i have a feeling seung wan might die.... i hope im wrong?*

100%. it takes away from the experience of watching these dramas when people commit some serious crimes like abuse/murder but face no punishment because they said sorry?. Writers should understand that they can write a redemption arc for the "villians" and still have them face the punishment for abusing othere people.

regardless of her age, remorse or redemption, Ramnam commited some serious crimes... Her being in a wheelchair and apologizing doesn't negate that....
she very much could have had a happy ending and still faced some of the consequences of her committing illegal crimes?

Ramnam was pure evil. besides the affair and tormenting others, she almost killed 3 people? why'd she get a happy ending??

My theory is - in court he might have just answered "Kang Sol", and not specified whether it was A or B. Sol A then probably assumed he was talking about B??

In the beginning of ep4 - Joon Hwi's uncle and another man (forgot his name/job sorry - but hes the one who gave the "gift" of land to JH's uncle) are talking in the car. The man mentions hes embarrassed giving a speech at the ceremony because his son couldnt even get in, but his sons girlfriend did. Im assuming his sons girlfriend is Jeon Ye Seul??

In the same scene her classmates mention that Ji Ho is scary for being able to change arguments so easily. (He seemed more determined in passing?)I interpreted is as her classmates are just doing whats necessary to pass law school, while Kang Sol A is more so guided by her own moral beliefs?? Interested in your interpretation.

Im unsure whether she would have won anyway defending Joon Hwi. I dont think shes stupid, i think shes just not as confident compared to her classmates. Im hoping this is apart of her character development and we'll see her improve soon.

The professor switched their arguments (during joon hwi's case) to test Kang Sol A's morals. She couldnt argue against Joon Hwi because she really believed the school was wrong not Joonhwi. She didnt fail because shes stupid. The Dean later explains that Kang Sol A reminds her of herself when she was younger. The Professor has been testing her strong sense of justice.
