That's what I was thinking too! Like I love the series so far, but the father having no reaction to his own father hiding the fact that his son has been alive and raised by another man, away from him for 22 years is INSANE !!! I expected him to at least have a semblance of reaction! I mean I would be FURIOUS if my father did that, even if he's King haha The poor man believe his one year old son was dead for years only to learn his father hid him to keep power and the throne in the family..

I haven't read the book, but can you tell me if he has a different reaction to the news ?

The way I understood it, SIGMA posted the pictures but cropped and blurred Akin's face to some degree (you can actually see it in ep9 around 6:33 in the social media posts) which is why Jade said they can't file a lawsuit immediately because Akin's face isn't truly recognizable in them, it's only rumours and assumptions, and filing a report would also mean admitting it's him. Soo that's how Jin & Judy got away with their story! Like basically Akin's team, the page guy and Sigma all have the actual pictures, unblurred, but the ones leaked where blurred. Sigma didn't want to leak the unblurred pictures, because they needed it to be just assumptions so they could then clarify it wasn't Jin in them, they knew he'd get dragged into this and they knew Akin would to everything to protect him at the cost of his own career/life. Basically they taunted Akin by manipulating the public, Akin and Jin.

As for why the social media page guy wouldn't leak the other pictures, I think it's mainly because if he did SIGMA would end him. Akin even tells him "Sigma would never let you get away with that" and he's right, their plan was about uncertainty, but he that guys shows Jin's face clearly, SIGMA will destroy him. We can see at the end of ep9 that the president tells him to keep quiet. Also if he did Akin could actually sue him this time if his face is shown, and SIGMA wouldn't protect him so he would probably lose everything. At first he wasn't afraid of getting sued or losing money but the thing is now he's lost the support of the public, his page got reported and deleted, so nobody will believe him, or if they do, fans will destroy him, so he would actually lose everything if he released the pictures.

As for Touch, I'm not entirely sure but I think he's employed by Sigma now, as in he came along with Jin as his manager/assistant. So I don't think Sigma would fire him. But I think he has second thoughts about his actions which will be adressed next episode and I guess Jin will confront him. I think he went along with the president because it's a big company and at first he must've though they got Jin's best interest at heart to make him big, but is realizing he did wrong, and also, Touch care about Jin, not Akin...

Hey guys, does anyone have any idea of the timeline ? I'm a bit lost timewise because it seems to go quite fast seomtimes, like I'm guessing it's been more than 6/7 months between them meeting again for Gemini and now, but if anyone actually knows how long! :)

I would, I have. Tbh I see myself a lot in Akin ! I've pushed a lot of friends away since I was a teenager. Sometimes when life gets too much and my head is a mess and I don't know how to express myself, I tend to push people away. I guess it's a mix of feeling like it's easier that way, rather than trying to explain all that is wrong and believing that no one would ever understand me anyway, and that maybe they'd be better off without me! Hope that helps to understand a bit :) So the way I see it, Akin left because it became too much and he was so scared and confused and it was easier to just let go and "free" Jin, you know, like ripping a bandaid, "you'll be hurt for a bit, but then you'll get better. You don't have to keep suffering because of me and my mess, let me take all the suffering because it's all my fault" kinda thought

Let's not forget that actually physically speaking "Dome"'s body is not "our Dome", because our Dome was zapped in to lure Katha, but he litteraly replaced the old Dome (played by Boom). This guy who changed faces but no one really realized, like what the hell happened to him ? The real Dome from this world, cuz he was actually a real person before our Dome's consciousness was zapped into him ! I wish they'd elaborate on that, like where is he, what happened to him after he was "taken" by the shadow in ep4 ?

I'm with you, If swear if anyone hurts Chopper, I'll come kicking with you haha He's the sweetest, dearest, most reasonable character yet everyone gets angry with him without realizing in how much main he is T_T Like he could've become such a villain with everything going against him but he's always supportive, and kind and such a loveball, I want to tell Ben and Neung to open their eyes haha

And as much as I understand Ben's anger and pov (though what do you expect a teenager to do against his murderous father?..) I'm mad at him cuz like he wasn't even able to stand up to his dad and say he kissed Neung, but now he's angry and wants Chopper to stand up tp his psychotic killer of a father and his mafia ? xD Like dude be for real, he doesn't stand a chance anyway. I wish everyone could see how torn and lost and alone he is.

I was also not interested at first, but it kept popping up on my ig feed so I gave it a go. And now I'm addicted haha

It is SO WHOLESOME. I mean really, it's cute, but also deals with serious subjects, it's not rushed, no unecessary drama or love triangle, healthy relationships, it's funny... The plot is simple, but I personnally think sometimes it's for the best cause you can focus on the characters themselves. And Fourth and Gemini have great chemistry, they're really natural, their characters' interactions always put a smile on my face. I can't wait for Fridays now to get my dose of happiness haha

And the music, don't get me started on the music ! (For once a show I don't cringe whenever they start singing xD)

Tbh I really love this story, I do agree it is a tiny bit slow, but it doesn't really bother me. I'd rather have a slow burn than a love triangle or an annoying girl messing the relationship !

And I think their relationship and fears make sense, I've seen people go weeks without claryfing their relationship, because it's not always easy to have that talk when you're scared it'll cost you the other person...
I mean, Win is terrified of love because he believes he's not worthy enough to hold on to it. The man's self-confidence is at 0 . And Team's lived the trauma of losing someone he loved once (and like, actually losing him forever) and still blames himself, so his self-confidence is also at 0.

Let's not forget they started has friends with benefits, no strings attached. And the one time they kinda talked seriously about it and mentionned being boyfriends, Team said he had no answers and Win shut down, so I understand why they're both scared of bringing it up again. Plus, Win once said "I'll only have you until you find someone better", to him it meant "I'll love you until you leave me because I don't deserve your love", but what Team probably heard was "I'm not in love with you but I'll take care of you until you find someone who does". Add to that the fact that Team once heard Win say he didn't want things to change, and also the fact that he never once saw Win break down. Because, we, as the audience, saw him being scared and vunerable and we are aware of his fears, but Team never once witnessed how scared he was of loving someone. So he doesn't know that Win not being able to say how he feels isn't because he isn't in love, but because he IS in love and just terrified of losing it. To Team, Win might seem like an overly confident player, because he doesn't let him see how vulnerable he is when it comes to love.

Also they're not stupid, Team knows that Win might have feelings, like he said "sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't", he feels it, he's just too scared to believe it's real, because he doesn't see that Win only treats him that way and is serious about it. And Win knows Team has feelings for him, he's just terrified of verbalizing it because he's afraid he'll loose him, "promise me you won't run away from me" , he litteraly said it. Also Win's love language is physical touch and actions. Him driving under the rain for two hours, him reassuring Team, all those little moments, that's how he expresses love. And those last kisses in ep10, that was Win saying "I love you" , it was so sweet, and deep, and it wasnt about sex, it was about his feelings for him, he was telling Team he loved him in his own way, telling him that he does have a boyfriend. But unfortunately, Team is so scared and has so little self-confidence that for him it's not enough, he needs the words to be said to truly begin to believe that it's true. Because he's only heard Win say that he doesn't want their relationship of "fwb" to change. And Win's still scared of saying the words..He's scared once he says it, Team will loose interest and leave.

They both have so mmany fears and so little confidence, that they cannot see how much they love each other. It's always easier to see the love of others than your own.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I just really love their story and I think it's quite realistic to be honest ^^
