My take on it (and I might be wrong) is that Puen and Tun haven't switched yet in the first ep, and they will in the second hence the change of behavior. Though that's only my theory !

The subtitles are correct, basically Ton is saying he'll be leaving the city to go stay at Tin's parents house and take care of him while he's in a coma. And the "until you come meet me again" he meant until Tin wakes up and remembers him and they are reunited

Is there a lot of differences between the TV and VIP version ? Or is it just that things are blurred ?

Hey ! A few questions/theories I'd love your input on :)

1) At the end, Sae Byok chose to change the future or to make sure it happens as it should so the Grid is created ? I thought she decided she'd change it, but after rewatching it I'm not sure I understood correctly haha

2) I'm not sure I get how there are several versions of each time travelers but which seem to all have the same knowledge somehow, like we see what I'm guessing is several versions of the Ghost, but she always has the same knowledge of what happened or will happen to her other versions. Or like take Saeha for example, he died, so the version of him at the end, where do you think he comes from ? Like another timeline, with kinda the same actions set in motion but where he still hasn't died ? So the Sae Byok he meets, somehow 'isn't "his" Sae Byok, from "his timeline" right ? Just like how when he met her in the future without the Grid, it was her, but not the "her" with the memories and choices from his original timeline. Is that how it is ? And for example, when the AB tried to enter the room and killed Eo Jin, the Eo Jin from this timeline, actually really died. But they went "back in time" in a timeline where it hadn't happen yet. Do you think that's how it is ?

3) Which actually confuses me, as the Block Universe Theory (which this series seems to indicate since time doesn't flow) states that everything exists in the now, so you can't technically "change the past" , if we took the example of the Ghost going tto the past and building the Grid, her doing that according the block theory, would've always been part of the past, present and future. Her going back to the past from her present, which is Sae Ha's future, has always been, is and will always be this way.
But clearly, Sae Ha was able to change the past, so.. can't be block theory right?

4) Oh and, what happened when Ghost and male Ghost stopped time around Sae Byok and Sae Ha, I'm not quite sure I understood what happened.. She tried to keep things as they were and he tried to save Sae Ha, is that it ? But why did he say "It's not me, can't you see" ?

5) How many versions of the Ghost (female) do you think we saw ?

God I had to replay that flower lady part many times to understand what she said, and I understood better with the thai subtitles than her words, and I'm French xD Like Theo's okay especially since he's not supposed to be french anyway, but what's up with all those supposedly french people that even french people can't understand hahaha

Yeah unfortunately it does happen a lot unfortunately, at least they were the second lead couple ! Because when you're like a silhouette or extra, sometimes you don't even make the final cut at all haha But I do hope so too, like a special with deleted scenes. Or a special with PitchBank haha But another director..

I hoped for more interesting development for PitchBank but we got like 2mn of them.. Though they managed to steal the show in those 2mns for me xD

But I have to say, this series was excrutiating to watch at times.. I mean, the acting and chemistry between the lead is one thing (but it's a personal opinion and subjective, so..) but what was going on with the editing and the directing. Like especially in that last episode ! I couldn't figure out if I was watching a thriller, a soap-opera or a rom-com honestly ! All those fading transitions, the black screens, the slow-mo, all the cries.. I feel like the director didn't know which way to go and just experimented with everything! I mean even the way it was filmed between the main couple and second lead couple seemed out of a different show ! PitchBank was never too cheesy, quite realistic, funny and commnunicated, while SunSky were so cheesy it was cringey (I mean that date episode come on..) all in slowmo, romantic music and cheesy smiles in the middle of gunfights xD
Even with the storytelling of PitchBank, they had like two episodes with a solid storyline and then they just forgot about them ! Like we didn't even get the scene where they get together, or have a talk about their feelings.. And let's not talk about Juno and Toktaeng, as annoying as the first one, they both deserved to be treated better ! Sun and Sky both played with them, how hard is it to say no sorry I'm not interested, or to not ask someone on a date to make your crush jealous ! I mean.. the only females of this series deserved better. They had no real susbtance and only served as plaything/jealousy for the main couple.. I hate this trope in BLs.

On paper it had potential.. But I was disappointed. It's a shame I really wanted to like it.

But I really hope Sugus and Tenon get a new series together, like, not season 2 but a better written series where they get airtime and get hone their skills.

Honestly, the directing and editing was excrutiating to watch at times, so I'm not even surprised they missed the opportunity to show us PitchBank scenes.. I'm pretty sure they shot more but a lot of their lines or scenes were deleted because of the runtime of the series.. Such a shame. I had hope with the camping episode and the one just after, that they'd keep on developping their story, but they just.. decided it was enough I guess lol. Makes no sense..

I have a feeling they deleted a lot of their lines.. What a waste..

Please give us Bank & Pitch spin-off (or another series with them as leads with another writer and director for that matter, that could let them shine ), I missed them this episode ! I kept waiting for their scenes and they had barely any.. Though they didn't fail to put a smile on my face everytime they did haha They're just so cute, relatable, communicate, and are never too cheesy or cringey like the MLs, and they have great chemistry. I have to say I'm not a big fan of the series as a whole but I do love them to bits.

So what is that world of doom exactly ? A place where things that disappear go ?
And did they talk about it before ? I can't remember it being mentionned.. The only place refered to I remember is MM's subconscious, but maybe I just forgot ! Anyone ?

I totally agree! Though someone fighting against the world for their love is cute and all, it's also sometimes unrealistic. They were in a complicated situation where other people, contracts, money, and well just real-life was involved and I think had one of them told the truth it would've actually made things worse in a way. Because the toxic fans would still come after Gene, and Gene isn't someone who can handle being the center of attention like this no matter how much he loves Sib, receiving hate and attention like this isn't fun it takes immense courage to get over it . And that sucks I mean it shouldn't happen this is so stupid but unfortunately that's how real-life is.. Had Sib said something, it would also go against Gene's decision. Had Gene said something it wouldn't be nice to see him stand up to everyone, but once again he would've been bashed out so so bad not sure he could've handled it, plus all the managers and publishers.. And had Aoey said something, in a way it'd have been the easy route. Even if he meant it, it would've just made him a victim again and toxic fans would either still think it's Gene's fault or that Aoey deserved to be loved.. So I'm glad he didn't say anything and ended up with the consequences of what he'd done. Though as a character he wish for him to get the help he need and start over.

So in a way I'm glad they made it "sad" but also realistic, and consistent with the characters. Gene is the one who's scared and has low self-esteem. Sib is the one who respects Gene no matter what. Aoey is the one who desperately needs to be loved and cannot get out of the hole he dug yet. They all had changes throughout the series, but I like the fact that it wasn't big unrealistic changes like suddenly Gene becomes super confident and doesn't care about anything or Aoey because the nicest person ever. That'd be a bit unrealistic. Big changes take time. Maybe in a season 2 haha


And I love your explanation of the "non-ending" ! I like that too. Just cause the series end doesn't mean the fictionnal life of those character does haha
