how is it so far? any semblances to the other xianxia drama— same tropey or something? i wanna start it but…
Eps 1-4 are meh, but the story has consistently been solid and entertaining ever since the end of ep 5 for me. Excellent transition with reshoots, forgot it even happened at this point. 👍
I already posted the ending down below, but here is what I read from a reader's spoiler on the NovelUpdates website. In…
You can tell IQIYI's stance on this just by looking at their "Love On" series. The assumption would be this would entail only a collection of sweet HE dramas, NOPE! Even Love in Pavilion is categorized in the "Love On" Series... I've literally started naming it the RIP 🪦 series instead...
I also wonder about that. Maybe in the illusion, there is only role for main leads, 🤣. But Kunlun did say that…
Agree, I think ML and Kunlan were not affected by the illusion. And ML was sure in a hurry for FL to sign the document, so I’m sure that will become important later.
Yeah I don’t think either child is actually hers. Because she said “you wouldn’t have sired children with…
Yes, the emperor threatened that he would hurt her if she harmed the ML bc of the emperors star associated with him. But Kunlan, the emperor let her punish at will
So does it mean the empress wasn't the mother of this two prince because I don't understand her flashback on ep…
Yeah I don’t think either child is actually hers. Because she said “you wouldn’t have sired children with some unknown fairy ” not child to the emperor. And they also showed her being absolutely ambivalent and even completely unaware that there were two bassinets right in front of her.
He took this project before he last three dramas project. It was sheelved over 3 years due to the original FL…
The good thing about this is that it is showcasing that he is a very solid and versatile actor that can do many different genres. Hope the scripts keep coming in for him, bc I really enjoy him as a lead.
Ok have to be honest... The central idea for the ML in Love Never Fails is that he is a celestial monarch who's main role is to tend to plants and flowers (cause he is a golden peony 🌸 of course) while also being a royal punisher 💪 on the side... this premise and set-up has made me do numerous eyerolls 🙄 cause I wasn't expecting LYX, who I've seen be so much more serious and intense in his last 3 or so characters switch into being a royal gardener🪴. But once I've adjusted my expectations and seen him do his fantastic comedic work (he killed it on the body-switch and showcased those adorable dimples) Ive left the lameness of the backdrop of having characters named plum, apricot, chrysanthemum 🤣 and am now enjoying the drama much more starting at the end of ep 5. BTW love the antics of FL/ARP together. They will be a fun duo to watch wreak havoc on the stuffy palace.
I saw the last episode scene on TikTok and did just the ML forget etc or FL too cause when she saw him again she…
Answer from @KiKo Tsukino "She didn't recognize him just like he didn't recognize her. But they are both Bai Yan and Ni Huang again at the end(without their previous memories), their life is renewed but without that burden of their past self of protecting the three realms etc.
She did sense a familiarity towards him, because she said she saw him in her dreams who told her to go to Shu Shan to study and cultivate.
It is implied they will fall in love again but I felt bitter with this ending lol since I wanted them to have their original memories intact with them."
