First 30 episodes of SL were all the same, he following her and prolonged honeymoon phase. What's worth are last 8 ep and Cheng Lei's acting. Her smile is her self defense that she wears in public(just the same how people with PTSD very often talk about their traumas in RL.. with smile). Remember her part in the show, where she sent HRF's man to ⚰️ and Xiao Yue came. She automatically put the smile on (there're several scenes with the same pattern in the show). Same. TikTok and Twitter/X are full with positive people and comments. Here, some people have multiple accounts (with the same shows ,rated them the same🙄) and here they're writing literally the same comments over and over. Realy hope they're getting paid to be here,or else it's pathetic.

It's not that she didn't do a great job., it's just I don't see her persuasive and dominant as general (and it's not because of her tiny figure or feminine side..) . I'm talking just about those scenes where she should be powerful commandant. Just because producers have something in mind, doesn't mean public have to like the same thing. But I'm glad you did.😉

At first it was sweet but with awkward chemistry. Then honeymoon period was way too long (until ep 29-30). FL can't pull of the role of commanding general(sorry,I like her, but we should be honest she can be badass but not by posing as general). Almost dropped it around episode 21, but I stayed ..and I'm glad I did. Favorite part was awaking of Prince Annan. I was thrilled to see dark romance but those were crumbs . Last 6-8 episodes of the show were definitely the best and that's what raised show's value. Just for those last 8 episodes, I rated it 9/10
I stopped after ep 21. Did ML got his memory back with today's episode? By the calendar, show will end on 11.09. but is there a chance for express package?
